Back at the firehouse

Dawson's pov
I arrive back at the house be for Casey does. I'm sitting at the table when my mom walks in with Jace. "Hey Jace buddy." I say taking him from my mom "Mat should be back soon we were just on a call." I say about 10 minutes later the truck pulls In. I tell my mom to take Jace and go to my bunk. Mat walks into the common room and sits down. I walk back to my bunk to get Jace. "Hey monkey let's go say hi to daddy." We walk out to were Casey is. Hes facing away from us. I walk over and place Jace in the back of his head. "Daddy" Jace says "hey little monkey what are you doing here? Mat says as he turns around and takes Jace from my arms. " little monkey missed you all morning. He kept calling your name." My mom says to Mat. "Well I'll take any excuse to see him." Mat says.

Casey's pov
"Hey monkey let's go sit it in the truck" I say to Jace. We get up and walk out to the apparatus bay. I open the truck and we get in. "Truck daddy" he says to me. "Yes buddy this is a truck." I say adjusting him on my lap. Dawosn and her mom walk over to us. "Little man getting his daddy fix." She says to me. "I think he his" I say to her as I give Jace a kiss. Jace stays at the firehouse for an hour more then leaves.
