Sylvie's pov
"Wow that must be a big Fire for them to call all of that to the scene" I say as we all hop in the ambo and drive off. We arrive and see a 4 story building on fire. I can tell it's going to be bad. I hear people giving orders. I see the fire fighters running in and bring people out. I stood frozen until Dawson snaps me out of it. "Sylvie let's go I need you on top of things. You can't be freezing out I need your help over here ". Dawson says. I quickly snap out of it. And run over to her where triage was. I help out bagging people and helping out where I'm needed. My radio is going off like crazy next thing I hear is "everybody get out of the building now. The buildings about to flash you have 1 minute." chief says. I see everyone running out. I can tell not everyone makes it out.

Dawson's pov
I hear chief says for everyone to get out. I look around and can't see Casey. I'm worried hes not gonna make it out. Next thing I hear is the building flash. My stomach feels like its been punched a thousand times. Chiefs finally let's the men go back in to find survivors. About 3 minutes later I see Otis and Herrmann carrying out a body I realize it's Casey. I hear over the radio that he was hit with a wooden beam in the head when the building flashed. He looks extremely bad. "I cry out in extreme agony CASEY!!! I try to run to him but my feet are glued to the ground and won't let me move. I just end up collapsing to the ground crying out his name. Shay and Brett run over to me. "What's wrong Dawson?" I hear Brett ask but I can't respond so she turns to Shay who's now holding me in her arms. "What's going on is she okay?" Brett asks Shay. "She and Casey are lovers they have this strong connection that I will never understand. It's amazing. But know one knows about them so keep it on the down low" Shay says. I know it's not professional to freak out like I did but with our past and people after Casey and I it just happened. Shay helps me up from the ground and takes me over to the ambo. "Brett and I are gonna load up a patient you sit tight and we'll be on our way to Chicago Med to drop off the patient and go see how Casey's doing okay." Shay says. "Okay" I manage to get out. I hear them load up and we drive off.
