At the doctors

Dawson's pov
We arrive at the doctor's office and check in. I was so glad that they could squeeze us in. " Jason Casey" a nurse calls out. Mat and I get up and walk over to her. She takes us to the examination room and takes Jace's vitals. He has a slight fever but not too bad. " doctor will be in, in a few minutes." The nurse says leaving the room. We wait for about 5 minutes then the doctor arrives. Our normal pediatrician is out on vacation so we have someone else. "Hi I'm Dr. Ava Nolan." She says "I'm Gabby Casey, this is my husband Mat Casey and this little monkey is Jace." I say. "Alright what seems to be the problem here?" she asks us." We go in-depth telling her about Jace's past hospital stay and his medical history. "He just hasn't been his normal happy self. We are worried there may be a connection to his last time he was really sick. He hasn't been eating much lately and feels warm a lot of the time." I say. She takes a look at Jace and determines he's teething again and might have a bit of a cold. That it's nothing major to worry about. We thank her and head out back home since it was our day off from shift.
