After dinner

Sylvie's pov.
I'm feeling very off my game tonight. I feel like something bad is going to happen. I walk into the common room and chat with Shay, Dawson and Collins untill about 10 when I'm feeling very tired. I walk over to the squad table. "Hey Severide can I talk to you? I ask " "sure Brett what's up?" He says getting up and walking with me. " I was wondering if I could sleep with you in your office tonight. I just feel off like something is going to happen but I don't know what. I just don't wanna leave your side." I say to him in a worried voice. "Sure babe I'll be in shortly." He says to me. I walk into his office and curl up on the bed. I try and get comfy but can't. I just wanna be in Kelly's arms.

Severide's Pov
It was getting late so I thought I'd join Brett in bed. She seemed really worried tonight. It's usually not like her. I walk into my office and find her awake. "You're still up" I say. "Yeah couldn't sleep without you." She says. I climb over her so I'm against the wall. I pull her close to me in this small bed. "What's wrong? This is not you." I say. " I just have this feeling that I can't shake." She
Says in a shaky voice. Almost crying. I pull her in tighter. "Hey everything is going to be okay. I won't leave you." I say kissing her hair. It doesn't take long for us to fall asleep. We are awaken by the alarm at 3:20am. "Be safe" she says kissing me "you too" I say ask I quickly kiss her back as we head off the rigs.
