Mats pov

We just got home about 4 hours ago. Jace was finally released from the hospital. His fever broke a day ago but they kept him to make sure he was healthy to go home. Dawson and I have shift tomorrow. I know it will be hard for us to leave him at home but getting back to work will be good for us. We are taking it easy today. It will be nice to have a good family day at home. I told gabby I would cook a nice dinner for us after she put Jace to bed. About 4 hours later I help give Jace a bath. This kid loves the water. He's so happy. Once he's out of the bath we put him to bed and I start dinner. I make lemon pepper chicken and roasted vegetables.
