The rig pulls back in and we hop out. "good job Burke on your first fire. I think you'll fit in well here. Almost time for dinner. Out rule in the house candidate cooks the meals." I say. "Thank you lieutenant. Will get started on dinner soon. I'm an okay cook so I hope you'll enjoy" she says. "As long as you're better then Cruz You'll be fine." I say laughing. "Hes that bad a cook?" She asks " you could say that our dog won't even eat it." I say as my phone goes off. It's Dawson " Excuses me" I say walking off.

C- hey babe how was Jace's appointment
D- it was good hes just got a cold. They said he should be fine. His fever is gone. But if it come back to take him to the ER.
C- I'm glad he's doing better. How are you?
D- besides missing you I'm good. Look I just pulled home so I'm gonna go put Jace to sleep. I love you always and forever. Ill see you in the am.
C- I love you too always and forever. give Jace a kiss for me.
