Dawson's pov
Just as I get up to head out of the conference room the alarm goes off.

I'm about to run to the ambo just as Casey pulls me in for a quick kiss and says "be careful" "I will" I say Shay and I hop in and drive off. We arrive on scene and see a kid having trouble breathing. His mother said that they forgot his Epi pen and that he accidentally ate a cookie that had nuts in it. We give him a shot of epi and put oxygen on him. We got him stable so we load him up. We tell the mother she can either ride with us or follow behind. She decided to follow behind us. We rush him to Chicago Med and hand him over. On our way back to the firehouse we stop at our favorite doughnut place and pick up 2 1/2 dozen doughnuts for the guys. The rest of shift goes pretty slow there was only one more call that had came through. I was in the Locke room getting changed out when Casey comes in say we can stay at your place tonight to be on the safe side after every thing that's happened. "Sure that works. Do you wanna grab dinner out first " I say "I know this perfect little restaurant we can go to" he says with that we head out and head to the restaurant.
