{Victory, But With A Cost - SL/HC 🥀 REMAKE}
TW'S:
- Death
- Blood
- Injury description
Finally, after everything, it was the final battle.
Everyone else was dead, except for Scar and Pearl.
The two clashed, jumping back as they tried to attack the other.
In the spectator's room, everyone was cheering, watching, trying to see who would win.
The battle continued, with Scar getting Pearl really low on hearts, and she tried to district Scar.
"Behind you!" She cried out, and Scar whipped his head around, only to see nothing. He flinched as an arrow landed in his shoulder, and he snapped his head back, pulling out his own bow. He started to fire arrow after arrow, until one of the arrows made a direct hit on Pearl.
She fell, landing on a block in a mini cave.
Lightning struck, and that was Pearl's end.
However, Scar didn't know that he had won. He didn't know that Pearl had died. Still keeping an arrow strung in his bow, Scar jumped down into the mini cave, calling out Pearl's name.
"Pearl! Where are you?" He called out, yet no answer. He continued to search the cave, until two buzzes came from his communicator. Scar thought that it wouldn't be no harm to check, so he opened his communicator up, only to see two messages from Grian.
<Grian> She's dead Scar.
<Grian> You won.
Scar froze in mild shock. He had won Secret Life. Oblivious to the zombie hitting him, he began to laugh.
"I won. How did the guy with no friends win? H-How did the guy with no friends win?" He asked. When he finally realized that a zombie was hitting him, he quickly killed it, and became his climb up to the surface. His task was complete, and now, he just needed to press the 'succeed' button at the Secret Keeper.
Walking along the fields of grass, Scar let out a breath that he didn't realize that he had been holding in, trying to take in the fact that he was now a winner. He walked along the empty server, the ghosts all gone. He was the only one left, or so he thought.
As the grey stone came closer and closer, Scar walked up to the 'succeed' button. His hand hovered over it for a moment, before he pressed it. At first, nothing happened, but the wind started to blow faster, and he was awarded with 5 hearts. Nothing happened for another minute, until Scar got another task. Curiously, he opened the book, only to be greeted by the same exact task.
Win Secret Life.
"But didn't I just do that?" Scar asked himself. Thinking that it was all a glitch, Scar pressed the 'succeed' button yet again, and he got the same exact task.
"This can't be right." He said to no one, pressing the button again and again. Still, no matter how much he pressed, the same task would appear again and again.
Win Secret Life.
Win Secret Life.
Win Secret Life.
Win Secret Life.
"Come ON!" He cried, slamming down against the button, yet still, the same thing, over and over again.
[----------]
Hit and repeat.
Hit and repeat.
Scar didn't know how much time had passed, yet he was still pressing the button. His hands were bloody and red due to pressing the button over and over again, and tears were streaming down his face.
"Why can't I leave!?" He cried out, sinking to the ground, hugging his knees to his chest. As he sobbed, he heard a rustling close by, and he looked up.
There was a Watcher standing right in front of him.
Scar knew about what the Watcher's would do, so he tried to back away, yet the Watcher stopped him. He shook with fear as the Watcher came closer and closer to him, stopping when their foreheads almost touched. Scar gulped, waiting for anything, before he felt the Watcher's touch on his forehead, and he passed out.
[----------]
Scar slowly woke up, looking around. He seemed to be falling, and the Watcher was no where to be seen. The falling sensation woke him up completely, and he started to panic.
He was in the void.
Scar started to cry again, shaking as he knew about the void.
Once you are doomed to fall in by a Watcher, then you could not get out.
Scar sobbed, starting to feel pain in his arms and legs. Void burns.
He was going to be trapped there, in the void, for eternity.

Hermitcraft
"Hey Grian. Have you found Scar yet?"
Xisuma peeked into Grian's room. The blond male was checking at his communicators and admin panels, trying everything to find Scar. 3 weeks had passed since the end of Secret Life, and Scar was still not back.
"No, no sign of him ye- Wait a minute.." Grian muttered, leaning forward to check something on one of the screens. Xisuma peeked over his shoulder, seeing a small dot in a blank empty space. Grian pressed on the dot, and it was Scar.
"Oh my god. Oh my god! I found Scar! I found Scar X!" Grian cried out, before checking the screen again.
"Wait... What!? He's in the void!? Crap, I can't get him out, oh no no.." Grian started to panic when he saw Scar's exact location, and Xisuma put a hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"Grian, what if we both try to use your powers at the same time to get Scar back? Would that get him out?" Xisuma suggested. Grian thought about the idea for a moment, before he slowly nodded.
"That sound like a great plan. We need to get Scar out of there, no matter what."
When they were ready, Grian and Xisuma stood on opposite sides of a summoning circle. Xisuma waited for Grian to give the signal, and when he did, they both casted the spell and a bright purple flash appeared from the circle.
[----------]
Scar sat, still falling in deeper into the void. His body was bloody from the void trying to pull him apart, and void burns were all over him. He had tried to stay awake for as along as he could, yet he felt himself slipping into sleep. No, he could not sleep. If he did, he might not wake up again. He felt himself drift off for the final time, before a bright purple flash clouded his vision, and everything went black again.
[----------]
Once the flash had died down, Grian and Xisuma carefully opened their eyes. Scar was sitting in the middle of the circle, they had did it. However, all happiness left them as they saw the state that Scar was in, bloody, with void burns all over his body.
Xisuma quickly rushed off to go get a med kit and Grian rushed to Scar's side. He brushed the hair from Scar's face, holding his hand. Scar was slipping in and out of consciousness, his eyes getting heavier every second.
"Scar, listen to me. Please, stay awake, please." Grian pleaded, Scar's eyes focused on Grian's as they filled with tears, and he pulled Grian into a hug.
"It's okay Scar, I'm here." Grian whispered, rubbing Scar's back. Looking behind him, he saw Xisuma back, holding the med kit in his hands. Grian pulled away from Scar, yet he still held his hand, as Xisuma sat down beside him. Together, the pair started to work on healing Scar's body from the void. It took a while, seeing that Scar was in the void for quite a while, but after about an hour, they were finished.
"I'll leave now. Take Scar to rest." Xisuma quietly muttered to Grian, who nodded in response. Saying goodbye to the two. Xisuma left, leaving Grian and Scar all alone together.
"Grian.. Thank you.." Scar whispered, pulling Grian into another hug. Grian smiled, hugging Scar back, rubbing his arm.
"Let's get you some rest bud." Grian mumbled, standing up and picking Scar up with him. Scar didn't protest, his body exhausted from everything that had happened. Carrying Scar, Grian led the two to his room, laying Scar down on his bed as he climbed in beside him. Scar buried his face into Grian's chest, and Grian let out a small giggle, kissing the top of his head. Slowly, he felt himself drift off, and the two boys fell into a dreamless sleep.
[----------]
The next morning, Grian awoke to the sun shining through his window. He tried to get up, but was quickly pulled back down by Scar, who continued to hug him in his sleep. Grian smiled at Scar's peaceful expression, pulling himself closer to Scar, closing his eyes yet again.
When he opened his eyes a few minutes later, Scar was waking up, rubbing his eyes. Grian smiled, sitting up, and pulled Scar into a hug. Scar was taken aback at first, before he quickly melted into the hug, kissing Grian's forehead.
"Don't scare me like that ever again Scar. I love you." Scar smiled apologetically, running his hand through Grian's hair.
"I'm sorry, I won't do that again. I love you too, Grian." Scar mumbled into Grian's hair.
Together, they continued to hold each other tight, not wanted to let the other go. Grian was happy that he had gotten Scar back, and Scar was happy that he had finally gotten out of the void. The two boys had each other, and that was all they needed.
