"Gem, I need you to kill me."
Gem turned around sharply, her eyes wide, her breathing heavy.
"What?" She uttered, covering her mouth.
"I need you to kill me." Scott responded, his eyes focused on Gem's, hiding all emotions he was keeping in.
"I.. I can't!" Gem cried out, tears already forming in her eyes. Scott sighed, walking towards Gem and placing his hands on your shoulders.
"Look Gem. I'm very low on hearts right now. I need you to kill me so you can get more hearts. I don't want any of these hearts going to anyone else." Scott smiled, pulling back as he looked as his inventory.
"Okay.." Gem muttered, looking at the ground, trying not to cry.
"Here. Have this sword. This powerful bow... these zombie eggs.." Scott trailed off as he handed Gem those items. She took all of them and put the new bow and the zombie eggs into her own inventory. She readied the sword, tears already falling freely down her face.
Scott stepped forward again, embracing Gem into a hug.
"Go Gem." He whispered, and Gem silently nodded, wiping the tears from her face.
She positioned the sword, and plunged it through Scott's stomach.
She heard Scott intake a breath sharply, but he continued to smile, his head dropping onto Gem's shoulder. She cried as she felt Scott's heart stop, his body turning cold to the touch.

Gem continued to cry once the death message sounded in everyone's communicators. She didn't bear to look at hers, as she knew what it would say. Yet, she needed to win.
For Scott and Impulse, her allies.
But first, she needed to take the sword back.
Wincing, she pulled the sword out of Scott's stomach, wiping her tears yet again, but that didn't stop them from continuing to flow.
She looked at the sword, seeing Scott's blood on it. But she decided to not think about that for now. Gem just wanted to lay Scott somewhere, so his body could leave this world in peace.
She lay Scott against the mountain, seeing the wound that ended his life clearly. He also had blood dripping from his mouth, but he looked... peaceful, in a way. Like he was happy to leave this earth, in order to help Gem get closer to victory.
Gem sighed, smiling at Scott one last time, placing his hand over his heart, before she turned around. She didn't want to see Scott like this anymore, so she left.
As she left, Gem took one last look over her shoulder, waving goodbye to the dead corpse that used to be one of her best friends.
"Goodbye Scott. I'll win for us three."
"I promise."
When she uttered those last words, Gem turned for the final time as Scott's body disintegrated, leaving her all alone in this cruel world.
And, while she didn't know it, Scott and Impulse were watching her from above, proud of what she's become.
