"Lumi! You already made two oneshots about Grian getting Scar out of the void! Why do you need another one!?"

Enjoy everyone! (I got to stay home from school today because I had a slight eye infection- so that's a slight pro. Don't worry though, the eye is pretty much fine now!)

Ever since Lizzie was taken out of the void, Scar had been all alone yet again.

It felt like years since Lizzies was taken, but really, it had been 5 days.

Just for him, it felt like years.

It didn't help that the void was giving him painful burns and trying to pull his body apart.

He felt so numb. So fucking numb. Like his soul was gone of happiness. Scar was so numb.

He was so lonely, and he thought that he wouldn't be helped.

Oh the things that he didn't know...

Grian was watching Scar's player dot fall in the void, lost in thought and concern. When someone put a hand on his shoulder, that's when he snapped back. Turning around, he saw that it was Xisuma. The admin of Hermitcraft was worried as his eyes stared at Grian's screen.

"Do you know any way to get him out?" Xisuma asked, and to his surprise, Grian nodded.

"I'm going to open a portal to Scar's exact location and get him from there."

"Really? How though?"

"Just wait and see, Xisuma, but I need him back."

'Ah, so know I know what Grian's doing.' Xisuma thought to himself as held tightly held one end of the rope. Grian had tied the other end to his body, was was standing a bit away from Xisuma.

"Okay, so here's the plan. I'll get a long piece of rope, and tie one end to myself. You'll be holding the other end tightly, ready to pull me back at any moment. Since Watchers don't get affected by the void, and I'm a Watcher myself, then I won't get burns. Yet, for your safety, you'll stay back. I'll open the portal to '*** *** ***', which is Scar's exact location. Once I am able to get a hold of him, then I'll give you that signal, which would be my purple aura glow. Once you see that, then immediately start pulling the rope back out of the portal. Once me and Scar are through, then the portal will close on its own right after. Got it?"

Grian's instructions echoed through the admins head, and he was waiting for Grian to open the portal.

Grian reached out with his hands and muttered a spell. Once the words were complete, the portal opened. The wind from the void blew into the room, and Xisuma shivered lightly, but managed to hold on.

There. In the distance, Xisuma and Grian could see a certain brunette floating endlessly.

Scar.

Within seconds, Grian jumped into the portal, and Xisuma saw Grian spread his wings and start to fly as fats as he could to get to Scar. When Grian reached Scar, he pulled the brunette close to him tightly, and emitted his purple aura from his body. Seeing that sign, Xisuma quickly started to pull the rope back, and soon enough, Grian and Scar were out of the void. The portal closed up quickly, and both Grian and Xisuma sighed in relief. Pulling his hand away to give Xisuma a thumbs up that Scar was safe, Grian saw that his hand was bloody. He started to panic, and he quickly looked down at Scar.

Scar had been unconscious the whole time, with void burns all over his body, and bloody wounds from the void trying to pull him apart. Grian gasped in horror, and Xisuma quickly went to look at Scar. He too, like Grian, looked horrified.

"Grian..? Was this supposed to happen..?" Xisuma tentatively asked. Grian said nothing, and Xisuma took that as a bad sign, so he rushed out of the room to get a med-kit. Once he was gone, Grian truly started to panic. He laid Scar against the nearest wall and checked him over, seeing nothing but blood and void burns.

"Oh Scar, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry Scar.." Grian whispered, grabbing Scar's hands and pressing them to his forehead. Xisuma ran back into the room holding a med-kit, and sat down next to Grian. While the two were taking medical supplied out of the kit, Xisuma turned to look at Scar, and his eyes widened. Grian was confused, but he followed Xisuma's eyes, and he eyes also widened.

Scar was waking up.

The brunette was clearly in a lot of pain, and he was shaking badly. Grian and Xisuma turned to look at each other, not knowing what to.

"It's okay Grian. I'll take care of his injuries, you comfort him." Xisuma muttered. Grian nodded, getting up and sitting back down next to Scar. The second Grian had sat down, Scar pulled him close and held him tightly, tears threatening to fall.

"It's okay Scar, I've got you. Xisuma's going to patch you up, okay?" Grian reassured the frightened brunette. Scar nodded slowly, and Grian sent a nod to Xisuma, who began working to heal the injuries Scar obtained.

The process was slow. Quite a few times, Scar would pull Grian impossibly closer and hide his face into Grian's red sweater. Grian comforted Scar with soft words as Xisuma tried his best to heal Scar as gently as possible. A lot of the burns and other wounds were very painful, and many were even infected. Grian, throughout the entire process, comforted Scar with his words, and sometimes, even small kisses. Once he was finished, he grabbed a healing potion from his inventory, and handed it to Grian for Scar to drink. Grian took the potion with a smile, and unscrewed the bottle cap.

"Here Scar. You're all done now. Can you drink this for me, please." Grian coaxed the brunette. Scar nodded, and took the bottle with his (less injured) hand. Slowly but surely, Scar drunk the entire bottle, before giving it back to Grian. Grian smiled at Scar, taking the bottle and throwing it out. Scar was getting very tired, both Grian and Xisuma could see that.

"You should take Scar to rest now. Update me when he gets better." Grian nodded at Xisuma opened a portal to Scar's base. Picking up Scar, Grian walked through the portal, saying goodbye to Xisuma as he left.

When Grian placed Scar on his bed, he stepped back to look at him.

Scar was covered in bandages, and he was asleep. He was now dressed in pants and an oversized hoodie. Grian was about to leave, until he heard shuffling from behind.

Scar had woken up again, and his sleepy eyes were focused on Grian.

"Gri..?" Scar asked, his voice hoarse, his body still shaking slightly. Grian's heart seemed to shatter at the sight and the amount of pain Scar was in, and he walked back to Scar's side. Grian made Scar lay back down again, and he lay down next to him, holding Scar close. Scar sighed in happiness, and he started to fall asleep again, but not before saying one, simple sentence.

"I love you Grian.."

Grian smiled and blushed lightly, pulling Scar slightly closer, kissing the top of his head. He felt himself start to fall asleep too, and he smiled, whispering the same, simple sentence.

"I love you too Scar.."

When Xisuma checked on them later, he found Grian and Scar both asleep in Scar's base. Grian had a relaxed expression, and Scar had a light smile on his face. Grian was still holding Scar close, like he didn't want to lose him again. Smiling to himself, Xisuma decided to let the two lovers sleep, and he left the room.

Yet, the one thing that mattered to both Grian and Xisuma was that they had Scar again.

They won't lose Scar to the void ever again.

Grian groaned as the sun hit his eyes. It was the morning now, and Grian decided to get up. As he tried sitting up, he felt strong arms pull him back down, and Grian turned around to see who it was.

It was Scar.

'Of course it was him.' Grian thought to himself as the memories from yesterday came flooding back. Scar pulled him closer, burying his face in Grian's shirt.

"Mmmrrmmpppthh.." Scar mumbled, still half-asleep. 

"Okay fine, I'll stay with you for a bit longer Scar.." Grian smiled, kissing Scar on the cheek, before falling back asleep, grateful to be in Scar's arms.

This was all he needed. Both him and Scar were happy with this.
