The tears were like a waterfall. Flowing down onto the bed. Izumi opened her eyes. She saw her husband and in-laws. "Izumi..." Itachi said, and threw his hands around her body and cried into her shoulder. Izumi smiled and hugged him back. The other side of the door was Team 7. In shock. They all came in and surrounded Izumi. Naruto jumped on top of her and gave her a big hug. Izumi giggled and hugged him back. The whole room was filled with tears.

 A doctor came in and saw Izumi awake. "I'm surprised your awake! How do you feel"? Said the doctor, Mr. Kin. "I'm fine. Just a bit of pain in my chest". She said gritting her teeth at the pain. Itachi held her hand again, happy to see his wife cheerful. "You'll stay here for a couple of days. You should be back in 3 days. No missions". Mr. Kin said. "Got it!" Izumi said nodding. "You hear him? No missions!" Itachi said protectively. She nodded her head. "Izumi. I'm so glad your awake". Mikoto, Itachi's mom said. Izumi giggled. "I'm happy we didn't lose a Uchiha". Fugaku said. "I'm glad I didn't lose someone special to me". Itachi said and kissed her cheek. "BLEHHH" Team 7 said, disgusted by the kiss. "Hehe" Kakashi said, embarrassed. 

 The door flew open. "IS IZUMI ALL RIGHT?!" A woman said. She gasped and ran to Izumi. Kushina, Izumi's mom gave her a giant hug with tears also in her eyes. "Izumi...your alive". Minato, Izumi's father said. "We have missions going to find the person who stabbed you". Izumi nodded. "May...I ask everyone to leave...?" Itachi said, wanting alone time with his wife. They all nodded and left. "Izumi...?" He said nervously. "Hmm?" She said confused by his tone. "Did you know...you were pregnant"? He said with a low voice. Izumi gasped then sighed. "Yes... I was planning to tell you on your birthday. Why? What happened?" She said sadly. Itachi's eyes began to burn with tears. "The baby...died when your heart stopped the first time..." Izumi's eyes had tears flowing out of them. She hung her head.

Itachi rubbed her back comforting. "Izumi...I know how you feel...". Tears from his eyes started coming down. "I-I...was looking forward to being a mom..." Izumi said sadly. Those words pained Itachi's heart. He grabbed both of her hands and kissed them. "I promise...no matter where the road leads me...I will always love you". He said sweetly. They shared a passionate kiss. "We can...try again soon, whenever your fully better". Izumi nodded her head and hugged Itachi. "T-Thank you.." she said crying into his chest. "Hehe. Your welcome". Itachi said hugging her tightly. He also hoped for a family of their own. Not yet. Maybe later...
