Terezi's POV

Friday. Such a wonderful day for partnership. Being together with a friend.

My spirits were high and quite happy. I felt complete.

Vriska and I marched into school the next day with our matching necklaces. People watched as we linked arms and strutted with pride, like two peacocks flashing their beautiful tails.

I held my head high and so did Vriska. We were Best Friends Forever.

As we walked, Vriska mentioned something to me.

" Aranea thinks she has a cool necklace. Yesterday I showed her it and she totaaaally wanted it. " Vriska chuckled as we walked to Karkat and Sollux. Kanaya wasn't with them. Odd.

I wave at my friends " Hello!!! ". Sollux waves back as Karkat frowns.

" Why the hell are you two here? " Karkat tries to appear threatening. Instead he just looks stupid.

Vriska puts her hand on Karkat's shoulder and looks at him. " You. Are. Adorable. Dude. "

Karkat looks back and takes a step away from her. She shrugs and puts her hand down.

" No I am not! I am goddamn scary. " Karkat hisses showing his teeth, that are nothing but large and dull.

Vriska stays silent and walks up him. Her face was emotionless.

" W-what the fuck are you doing? " Karkat asks, a little frightened.

Vriska suddenly puts both her hands up to his face. Sollux and I listened, saying nothing.

She pinches his cheeks as Karkat tries to stay calm. She pinches tightly and pronounces " Ad. Or. Ab. Le "

Karkat then slaps her arm really hard. Vriska jumps back in pain. " Karkat, what the hell!??!!?? " she yells.

" You fucking started it Vriska. " Karkat says, putting his hands to his hurting cheeks.

Thankfully before anything else went down we heard the bell do its ringing. First period here I went. Vriska follows me with her hurting arm.

Once we got far enough from where Karkat was walking we both said at the same time:

" He's pretty damn adorable "

History. With Vriska. Also a bunch of other diptards. How fun. Well at least I had Vriska.

Although, the first thing the teacher said to us was really awesome. It made me feel much better.

" Alright class! We aren't going to do any homework today!!!! " The teacher says with enthusiasm.

All of us cheer like crazy people. Even me. Except for Vriska. She always had to keep cool.

" But we are doing something today. " The teacher adds, not talking in such an excited way anymore.

We all stop cheering. Except for that weird girl Feferi. She was happy with anything really. It sometimes got annoying.

Everyone and I glimpse at Feferi still she stops cheering. Okay.

The teacher waits for it to quiet before he speaks again.

" I know, but at least it isn't as boring. We will be doing some teamwork activities. You get to pick your groups, " He begins.

Vriska and I automatically face at each other knowing we will be working together. It will be just us. Other people face at each other as well.

" Groups of four. Not more or less. " The teacher finishes. Vriska and I pout. We would have to find another two people with us. That sucked.

" Go! I will give you your first activity on a piece of paper when you are all sorted into four. Then we will go out to the football field for more. " The teacher assigns for us to go.

We all race to our partners for our groups. People gathered faster than we thought.

Vriska and it almost ran into each other and didn't even need to ask each other. We were partners for sure. Although we would need to find two more people.

We didn't even have enough time to ask anyone. We were stuck.

Eventually the teacher speaks again. We all link arms with our groups. Hopefully we might let us go if everyone was in fours except for us.

" Everyone in groups? " He asks with many yes's but I could hear a no. Two of them actually.

It wasn't Vriska and I though.

I sniff to where I heard it. I could now tell who it was. No doubt we were going to be put with them.

" Oh shit... " Vriska murmurs to me.

" Yeah. We are screwed. " I reply.

The teacher notices the two pairs of us. Vriska and I stand as still as possible, trying to make him not notice, even though he already did.

" Let's see...we have two groups of two people left, " The teacher inquires.

He points to us," Vriska and Terezi "

He points to the other two as I get a clenched up feeling in my chest.

As the words were said Vriska closes her eyes and I sigh.

" Gamzee and Tavros "

" Damn it. " We both whisper to each other.

They looked happy to be partnered with us. Tavros looked like he feared my friend at the same time though. While I didn't think Gamzee knew what was going on. At least he was at school today.

Tavros stared at Vriska " Uh- h-hey vris- ".

He stops talking once he sees me friend smacking her lips together and punching her fists into each other.

Now in our groups, we were assigned our first activity on a piece of paper. The paper had all of things we had to do on it.

It was where we all had to say a compliment about each other. Then we would go outside for the others.

Vriska started first. " Okay. Terezi you are pretty cool. Gamzee you are a lazy motherfucker. Tavros your an asshole with a weird taste in stuff. "

" Shouldn't w-we be saying complements? " Tavros points out.

Vriska smiles and nods to his comment " Of course! That's what I did! Who's next? "

I turn to her and start talking. " Vriska you smell awesome! Tavros you are O.K.. " I justify.

" Also, Gamzee are you even listening to us? " I poke him.

" T-that isn't a compliment ei-either " Tavros projects as well as he can.

" I'm not giving him a compliment dummy! I was asking if he was paying attention! >:P " I reject.

" Fine...My turn now- " Tavros clears his throat. " Vriska you are always m-mean to m-me, "

Vriska gives him a glare. He squeaks a little in fright and continues.

" Terezi you are nice. Gamzee you are such an amazing f-friend who has always been there for m-me. " Tavros paps Gamzees back.

Suddenly Gamzee starts to speak which causes Tavros to jump away and almost fall over.

" Someone talk bout a lazy motherfucker???? " Gamzee comes alive from his spacing out and asks us.

Vriska giggles and raises her hand. Out of nowhere I smell nobody left inside of the room except for the four of us and the last group leaving.

" Guys we might wanna hurry up... " I mainly tell Vriska. She calls us all along to go outside.

We walk together out to the football field, which wasn't too far from our classroom. Once we were all out the teacher locked the door closed and went to advise our class.

Vriska makes sure Gamzee is with us and yells at him," If we are going to work together, you need to be paying attention!!! " She torments.

Gamzee blinks and replies " Did someone say something bout a lazy motherfucker? "

We all sigh, even Tavros. This was going to be hopeless, and I knew it off the bat.

Once we were on the field, Vriska read our first activity on the paper as we gathered around. " Our next thing is that we have to lay stomach-down on the grass, and arm wrestle with someone three times. I don't see this as teamwork, but whatever. " she states to us.

" It's more like exercises! " I laugh.

After we all got on the field, we gathered around Vriska and the paper for telling us what to do.

" Here we go, " Vriska starts reading. " You have to sit on the grass with someone and arm wrestle with them three times. Okay? "

Tavros was about to go to Gamzee but Vriska pulls him down. Tavros puts his arm up for help but he couldn't make it in time. She was arm wrestling with him.

I guess that meant it was with Gamzee. We sat on the ground and put out or arms. The other two did the same.

" Uh V-Vriska one moment c-can you let me- " Tavros tries to ask but Vriska automatically smashed his arm into the grass. Tavros puts his arm up halfway and she smashed it down again.

" P-please let me get settled before you- " Tavros starts but Vriska pins his arm down a third and final time.

Sneering, Vriska states her victory.

" I. Win. " Vriska shows off with a flip of her long hair.

Now with Gamzee and I. We get our arms in the ready position and begin. I don't really try, expecting this to be really easy to win.

But man, was I wrong.

We beats me in less than a seconds notice, considering he must me pretty strong. I would say I was more on the strong side however.

He beat me again, and again. At least he didn't run his victory in my face like Vriska did with Tavros.

Now the next activity.

" Jump through the hula hoop. One person holds it as the others walk through... " Vriska reads.

" I'll hold it! " I cheer, raising my hand. I rush over to the hula hoops, pulling out a red one.

Holding i up, I signal for the first person to ho through, which was obviously Vriska. She gets through easily.

Tavros followed, taking more time but got through. Gamzee was actually paying attention a little so he was able to get through as well.

I set the hoop down once I have smelt everything was finished. Vriska reads our next thing out loud.

" We have to travel from that line to the other line, " Vriska points to two lines that were in the middle of the field and were spread quite far from each other. " Now we have to make a circle and walk over there. Also you have to keep the soccer ball inside of the circle the whole time. " Vriska puts the paper away again.

" Soccer b-balls? " Tavros asks. I sniff where they gathered them by the line and show him where they are. " Even the blind girl is one step ahead of you!!!! " I cackle at him.

" That was a little rude... " Tavros responds as Vriska has gotten us a ball.
We set it in the middle of us as we settle our circle.

I held Tavros's hand as he held Gamzee's which led to Vriska's which led to mine. At least Tavros wasn't holding hands with Vriska, or who knows how bad it might of gotten.

We start walking from the white line. I clench Tavros's and Vriska's hands. Since Vriska was the closest to the back, she kicked the ball up a little, Tavros kept it back.

It rolled to me so I passed it back down to Vriska. I didn't really want to pass it to Gamzee.

We keep going, passing the ball for awhile. It was taking longer than I thought.

Tavros was the one walking backwards and he was going an okay pace. At least Vriska wasn't screaming at him.

After many more passes we make it to the other line. Sighing with relief, I wait for Vriska to get out the paper for the next activity.

" Okayyy. Next we have to get in pairs again, " Vriska starts to say.

I automatically cling to her, " Then I will be yours! " I conclude. Vriska laughs and nods.

" Sure. Where was I? Ah, here. Once we are in pairs we have to have one person copy the other person's movements from across them- What the hell???? Well this teacher has problems. Anyways we do vise-versa after. Not sure for how long though. We can wing it for a minute or so. " Vriska tells us.

Tavros, Terezi, and Gamzee all stand at her, confused. " What?!? ", we all reply at once.

Vriska gives us the note, " You just read it. ". We all take it and read what it told us. We now get it and give it back to her. Vriska puts it away.

Since I was partnered with the Serket, I stood across from her.

" Are you you just want to skip this activity???????? " Vriska asks me.

I tilt my head," Why? "

" You can't see. You are blind, Terezi " Vriska assures.

" That doesn't matter! " I conclude to my worried friend.

Vriska shakes her head, " It actually does, "

" I'll smell!!!! " I shout back. Sniffing to the side, I could tell Tavros and Gamzee already started. I was on the late list today.

" Fine. I'll be the copier first then. " Vriska tells me. Getting in a ready position.

I move my right arm out calmly. Smelling to tell, she was putting out her right arm as well. This wasn't right.

" Other arm. " I remind Vriska.

"No."

"Yes."

" What???????? "

" I'm facing the opposite way of you. " I gesture my right arm again. Vriska doesn't change.

" You need to put the other arm out. " I demand again.

" But we are the same!!!!!!!! "

" We have to be symmetrical, Vriska. "

" We are Terezi!!!!!!!! "

" Imagine this as a mirror- " I begin. But I didn't need to finish before Vriska got it.

" Ohhhhhhhh okay. Whoops! " Vriska changes arms.

I step to left. Vriska steps to the right.

I move my left arm onto my nose. Vriska puts her right arm on her nose.

I hop twice. Vriska hops twice.

" Is it my turn yet??? " Vriska wonders.

I shake my head reluctantly, my short hair bounces. To my advantage, Vriska does the same. " Nope..I just started missy! " I cross my arms as my friend does the same.

" Damn it Terezi. " Vriska waits for her next thing to do.

I tap my glasses. Doing the same Vriska murmurs " This is so sucky. "

I salute. Vriska sighs and follows along still speaking. " Oh my god. "

I clap my hands together. " Terezi no " Vriska does the same getting more annoyed.

I giggled in my thoughts.

I had a way to make her shut up.

Covering my mouth, I laughed a little. Vriska, agitated, covers her mouth too. Now I couldn't hear all of her complaining.

Nor smell it.

A few moments later, Tavros pulls Gamzee to us. " We are done! " Tavros tells us merrily.

I uncover my mouth. Vriska does too.

" Let's just say we are done, Terezi. That activity was pretty stupid. " Vriska puts out her hand for forgiving.

I put my hand out and shake hers saying, " Agreed. ".

" Next thing! " Vriska tries to say with more enthusiasm, taking out the paper again.

" Okay.... " My friend first reads it in her mind. She sneers at it.

" What does it say? " I ask politely.

Vriska sighs and reads. " This says that we have to find our group egg in the grass- your color is teal. Work together. Return the egg to the basket once it is found. "

" At least it's teal!!!! I can find it easy. " I tell everyone, trying to lighten us up.

" Okay. We should get going. " Vriska says to us. We follow along with that and take off in separate directions.

I go East. It was easier for me to find things if the wind was blowing the right way.

Sniffing on the ground, I only smelled mud and dirty grass that was dry. They really needed to water the grass.

Smell Teal Terezi! Smell Teal! were the thoughts I had in my mind at the moment. I tried not to think of red or green.

I start to wander. Suddenly I couldn't smell my friends anywhere close to me. Where was I anyways?

I suddenly feel gravity going down from where I just came up from.

Oh my.

I went up the hill by the football field.

I quickly head back down before I get in trouble. I probably wouldn't, for them to know I am partly blind.

Trudging all the way back down, I hear a crack below my feet.

Shit.

It sounded and felt like the feeling of when you crack a organic egg up against a creamy white bowl in order to make the greatest cake. When the yolk spills out into the bowl of eggy goodness.

I sniff. It was an egg.

Also I sniff deeper.

It was painted teal.

I decide to pick it up. It wasn't in the best shape, but at least it was a teal egg. I felt guilty about crushing it, but I didn't mean to.

Walking over to my group, they were still looking.

I smelled Gamzee chasing a butterfly. At least he was doing something instead of standing still, doing nothing.

I decide to show it to Tavros first. Not saying that Vriska wasn't a good first option, just that Tavros was the closest.

" Tavros! " I yell over to him. He turns to me. " I found the teal egg! Sorta. " I say sheepishly.

" Y-you did? But what do you mean by sorta? " He asks me.

I show him the broken egg. He looks at me, worried. His brown colored Mohawk blows around in the wind.

" Yeah... "

" W-what happened to it Terezi? "

" Nothing... "

" Nothing? "

" I might of stepped on it. Hehe. >:/ "

" Oh great. "

" Oh what??? "

" N-nevermind "

Giving him the egg, we just take the egg over to the basket. The other two in the group didn't need to know.

Coming back to them, we had a nice look on our faces, trying to not blurt out the egg was broken.

" We just found the egg and put it away! " I conclude.

" Really? " Vriska asks. Thankfully we had rounded up Gamzee so he was with us again.

" Y-yeah. Totally didn't break it or a-anything. What's next? " Tavros replies.

I facepalm.

Tavros shudders.

Vriska takes her paper out again and gives us our next task.

" We have to run around the football field track, all in a line. " Vriska quickly puts away the paper before we could all read it. I knew she wasn't lying since all the other groups were doing exactly that.

" Tavros. Let's make you first in the line. " Vriska snickers and winks at him. Tavros internally is frighted as fudge at the moment. But he wouldn't argue.

Tavros is first.

Vriska was second.

I was third.

Gamzee was last.

We settle on the track and wait till we are all ready. Then Tavros takes off.

Vriska had a strong stride as she was ahead, while Gamzee had a sloppy run which no excitement. I felt in the middle.

The dust from Vriska and Tavros in front of me blew on my glasses. I really didn't like that.

Although, this run was taking longer than I expected. Much longer. But, I could tell the issue.

It was Tavros. He was running very slow and I could tell Vriska was really annoyed about it.

Vriska grumbled for Tavros to go faster. I don't think he heard her though.

" Tavros could you hurry your ass up???????? " Vriska asks him critically.

Tavros pants. " I'm going *pant* as fast as I can! *pant* "

Vriska makes a pshhh sound from her lips " Suuuuuuuure you are. Just run faster!!!!!!!! "

Tavros hesitates " I *pant* can't! "

" Yes you can!!!!!!!! "

" No. "

" Yes! "

" No *pant* "

" That's it! " Vriska screams.

She kicks him really really hard in the shin.

We all go down like timber.

As Tavros fell, he was in utter shock. " oH MY GOD,,, " he yelped as he fell.

As Vriska fell , she was a pissed bitch. Almost looking like she was on fire. She cussed and yelled " I'll get you Tavros!!!! And your 8itchy gayness too!!!! "

As I fell, I cheered and laughed. Even though it was bad, it was still funny. I chuckled and teased " TH1S 1S SP4RT4!!!!! >:] "

As Gamzee fell, he had no idea what was going on. He just went along with us and smiled. " WhEeEe~ " He conspired.

" Group hug!!! " Gamzee hugs us all together as he was ploped on top of the pile.

I giggle and laugh. " Hehehehe yes!!!! " I snort.

Tavros welps " oMG ". He was at the bottom of the pile.

" I'm so fucking done. " Vriska states.

I barely even remember what had just happened in that period clearly. It all went so fast.

We all were all helped up by the teacher, as Tavros was still in a lot of pain.

I remember sitting in the office with Gamzee and Vriska for 15 minutes or so, as Tavros's shin got checked. Soon enough, the ambulance came and took him away. It was apparently worse than we thought.

After that we were able to go back to class, which was already about to end. At least we didn't have to do any more activities!

I plop down at my lunch table. My necklace was still thankfully on me. What a relief.

Vriska and Karkat sit across from me. They were already there before I came, munching on carrots and things.

" I haven't seen Kanaya the whole day. I don't think she is here today. " I ask my two friends.

" Well of course you haven't seen her Terezi. " Karkat makes a point.

" Yeah, so I haven't smelled her. " I understand.

" True. She wasn't in Math with me. We are partners. " Karkat gives us this information, taking a sip of his soup.

We eat for a little while.

" Hey Karkat. " Vriska pokes him.

" What the fuck do you want. " Karkat knits his eyebrows.

" Did you see our necklaces yet? " Vriska asks.

" Who's? "

" Mine and Terezi's of course!!!!!!!! " Vriska plays around with hers to show it off.

" Oh. Well those look- pretty? I'm not good with compliments fuckass. " Karkat complains to us.

" But at least it's better than Aranea's! " I giggle. Karkat stops eating and slowly swallows his food he had in his mouth.

Karkat replies " H-How do you know about her necklace? "

I laugh," I smelled it yesterday on this walk! It smells funny actually. "

" Please don't bring that up again. Please don't. " Karkat pleads.

" Fine. But don't be such a grumpy pants Karkat! >:P " I respond.

He doesn't answer and keeps eating. I keep eating too. Maybe I didn't care what he thought of those necklaces. Two questions roamed my mind.

1- Was Tavros really injured?

2- Why doesn't Karkat like the 69 necklace?
