New POV unlocked!

Terezi

(( As we all may know, Latula is the main character and POVist in the story. Although after seven to ten chapters I will be adding another POV. Latula will still have mostly all of the POVs but sometimes another character will get their own POV. Get it? Okay. So enjoy! ))

Terezi's POV:

I got off the bus with my bright red colored backpack behind me. It was Wednesday and I couldn't wait to get home to go shopping for more food. I really wanted some candy or more junk food. Also the cereal. Except I need one just for me, not for my totally not rad sister.

Latula always trying to one up me. I mean this weekend she won the contest again! Redglare forced me to congratulate her. She just doesn't understand that I am blind. She probably would be lousy as heck on the skateboard if she was blind.

Redglare was blind most of her life but two years ago she got surgery. Just so she could support us with eyesight. I don't really know if I will get surgery though.

Vriska walks with me off of the bus and to the middle school. Not to be quote on quote " girly " but Vriska was like my BFF. Um totally not girly.

We run off giggling together.

" Your laugh is so funny Terezi " Vriska smiles as we get close to the doors.

" Hehehe yeah! " I reply as we hop up the stairs.

Vriska opens the door for me to go in. After all I was blind, well I could see barely so I was considered to blind.

" Thank you! " I inquire.

" No problem! " Vriska smirks.

We get inside and start to find Kanaya.

Kanaya was another friend of mine. I would not talk about my other one till later. Shoosh.

Even though she was a good friend she did hang out with Karkat a lot. I could tell she did not " like " him. But I didn't like him that much anyways. I guess we kinda are friends. We have dated before but never speak of it. Neither should you. Double shoosh.

I set my backpack by my first class, History. Blarg.

Vriska was in the class to at least. She sets hers down too.

I start to walk off with my walking stick. Oh yeah.

I forgot to say I had a walking stick!

Vriska catches up to me,"Off to find Kanaya?"

I nod.

" Okay. I am coming then. "

I nod a second time.

We walk around searching for her. It didn't take long though. I sniff the air to check my surroundings. I found her.

Of course, she was with Karkat. And Sollux. And Blair.

Blair was the first to notice me. She waved hello with one hand, spinning a lock of her orange hair with her finger on the other. Sollux was texting.

" Welcome Terezi! How are you? " Blair questions as Vriska and I stand next to Kanaya.

" Good. " Vriska replies.

Kanaya just notices we are next to her and jumps. Karkat squeals with fright. I wanted to giggle at how high Karkat screams but I kept it to myself. Vriska let out a small laugh and Karkat covers his mouth. I look back at Sollux. Still texting.

" Hello Terezi and Vriska. I...didn't see you there. " Kanaya greets to us.

" Hey Terezi and Spiderbitch. " Karkat welcomes to us in a moronic tone.

" Do. Not. Call. Me. Spiderbitch. I am not a bitch. " Vriska does a fake frown.

Okay she could be a bitch at times, but the spider thing is a whole other story.

Last year Vriska lost one of her eyes. I kinda felt like we had the kinda blind thing in common but off topic.

When she lost her eye she did not want colored glasses like me, but a freaking eyepatch. I think she wanted it because her oldest sister, Mindfang, was sort of pirate like.

She already wore glasses but she blacked one out with a eyepatch kind of thing. She got the spider thing because an incident happened with her patch that made seven red dots on it. If you count her other one it equals eight. And eight = spider.

I think Vriska enjoys the spider thing. She does like the number 8 a lot now.

We talk to each other till the bell rings. I head off to my class with Vriska strolling beside me.

She opens the door for me again. Students fill through the door to find their seats.

I sit next to Sollux and Feferi. It was pretty calm and peaceful from where I sat.

The teacher comes up to the front and begins to take roll.

" Aradia? "

" Here. " She answers calmly but almost as if she was not alive. Just a lone spirit.

" Okay. Vriska? "

" Here. " Vriska moans.

" Hmm. Maddie? "

Everyone is silent.

" Oh yeah. Hearing aid. I guess I have to yell it. MADDIE?

" Here. " Maddie peeps.

" Good. Eridan? "

" Here. "

" Terezi? " She calls to me.

" Yep here! "

" Gamzee? " She ponders.

Silence again. We all look around.

" Absent. Again. " The teacher marks down.

I wonder what he is up to.

The teacher keeps calling names. Eventually she is done. Feferi takes the roll to the office. Once she closes the door, the teacher begins to speak.

" Alright class. I know it is quite early in the year but I really couldn't wait for you to do this! " The teacher squeals with excitement.

" You are going to have to write a report on your oldest sibling. If you do not, try to write on your parents lives. "

" That's it? " Eridan sneers from the back.

" No. You are also going to do something else. "

" What's that? " Someone asks.

" Well you have to bring something important of theirs to show to the class! " the teacher does jazz hands.

" Pffft. So this is like in elementary when we did- " Vriska puts up bunny ears with her hands to quote, " -show and tell. "

The other kids giggle, even me.

The teacher gives Vriska a sharp glare. Vriska tries not to roll her eyes from the stupidity and just leans back on her chair.

" Good. Now we shall start Unit- "

It is now PE. All of us line up to do stretches. Karkat stands beside me as we stretch.

Oh great. Now squats.

I try my best to make it not look wrong. I could smell Karkat doing that too. Squats seemed so...odd.

Finally we end our stretches. The teachers have taken attendance and now we went onto the bleachers.

A teachers assistant began to bring out light colored balls. I could smell what we were going to do.

" Kids, you are going to be split into two teams. Then we will play Dodgeball! " One of the main teachers announces. The boys cheer and so do I. Sadly Vriska wasn't in this class too. So we could cheer together.

We line up to be divided. Kanaya was on my team at least. She wasn't too competitive though. At least we have Equius.

Karkat was obviously on the other team. Good.

We walked up to each other, with the half court line between us.

" Ready to lose, fuckass?!? " Karkat shouts to me.

" Hardly. I can't wait to smell the look on your face when I beat you. " I respond. We both go our separate ways.

We all line up on the line. I get in a ready position....

The teacher blows the whistle and we take off.

Kanaya goes out first. Wow. Great.

The other team still hasn't got anyone on their side out. I pick up a ball and throw it.

Nice. Tavros is out. (( before he lost his legs btw ))

I through a few more balls and get more and more people out. I also dodge a few. Karkat angrily throws balls back at us and gets our teammates out.

Soon enough it was down to Karkat against Equius and I. This was going to be-

Equius is now out. Karkat and I are the only ones left. It was on.

I throw a ball and he dodges. Damn it.

He throws one back and I dodge.

We throw back and forth. Oh this was enough.

I block a throw with another ball and move around to the side.

I then chuck the ball at an angle. This way it would be harder to dodge.

I watch in slow motion as it gets closer and closer to Karkat. Then it bounces off of his hip. It was done. I won. Plus I was blind.

Boo yeah!

(( I know. I should of sent this chapter out a few days ago :p

But I forgot. Now I got back on to finish it up and publish it. Sorry it isn't that long :/

It is only part one though! ))
