Redglare starts the car as I hop in the front seat and Terezi in the back.

Terezi giggles and begins to play with her stuffed dragons. I really had no thought on them and forgot their names. Also what they are called besides stuffed dragons.

I slide down my window and put out my arm. The sunset was almost gone, making it more dark than light. My skateboard was safely kept in the back of the car.

Terezi nudges me with her elbow. I had no idea she was so aware while being blind. It always confused and amazed me. Even though she was annoying just by herself.

I turn to look at her narrowing my eyes. " What is it? "

" Guess what! " Terezi smiles and crosses her arms.

" Hmm. Okay I give up easily. " I say fast altogether. I didn't really care that much.

Terezi was so persistent " Come on Latula! Give me a guess. ".

" Sorry girl. I don't know " I shrug back, tilting my head.

" Okay! So. You know that my birthday is in two weeks?!? " Terezi projects clasping her hands with glee.

Redglare and I groan. Every day this past week Terezi has been trying to find ways to put her birthday in the conversation. It is her 13th birthday after all.

Terezi is 12, Redglare is 19, and I am 15 (( Those aren't the actual ages but I tried to fit all three into normal ages XD ))

" Yes Terezi. We are so excited. " Redglare fake grins. She was driving the car.

Terezi gleams with delight and plays with her scalemate. Wait I think that was the name of the stuffed dragons. Oh who cares. Wait. Terezi does.

" What are ya gonna get me? " Terezi smirks at me. I was her target wasn't I.

" Well...um " I sit distraught but thankfully get saved by Neophyte, or known as Redglare. Redglare is Neophyte's middle name which mostly everyone calls her. Neophyte Redglare Pyrope. Yeah.

" It is a surprise little sis. Your going to have to wait and see! " Redglare turns up the radio. I give her a look of thanks and she nods back.

I whistle to the music digging my hands into my pockets. It was abundantly quiet between the three of us like most of the time. Even though I could still hear the music playing through the car.

We were at a red light. Redglare taps her fingers in a pattern on the wheel with her long red painted nails.

" So. Latula. " Redglare defines.

I turn to her " Yea? "

" How's it going with Mituna? Still dating? You haven't talked about him in awhile. "

An awkward silence was between all of us. I turn to Terezi. She was out like a light. As in sleeping of course.

I felt a sour taste in my mouth. I tilt down avoiding eye contact. " Of course. I just haven't actually talked to him in awhile... "

Mituna Captor and I have been dating for what seemed like two years? It might of been longer but we were always such a good couple at school. Although last summer something happened. I heard that he had saved someone's life and almost died. He had recovered but not fully, still having some sort of brain damage. I had seen him getting helped around the school but he nor I have greeted each other. I was worried what he might be like now.

It was only October. The autumn signs of falling leaves and pumpkins were all around. I couldn't wait to get home and rest.

The light turns green causing Redglare to drive again.

We finally get back to our house. I was almost asleep right before she honked her horn to seize us up. Terezi throws her dragon into the air and i catch it. She feels around for it and I give it to her. She pulls it to her with force.

Terezi and I hop out of the car. I grab my skateboard so I don't forget it. I stride out of the driveway and up to the door step. Terezi follows as Redglare takes out her keys to open the door.

As soon as she opens the door we are addressed to our dog, Red. Yup. Just Red. But it was all Terezi's name idea of course.

Red was a Black Labrador. He was so sweet unless you made him angry. Nobody ever wanted to see that happen.

Terezi took a whiff of air and squealed. " Heya Red I am back!!! " she rushes over to him. Red kisses her all over as Terezi grins with elation. Red had more of a connection with Terezi out of us three. Although he wasn't the only pet we had.

" Latula could you feed Nelly please? She needs some food " Redglare asks me putting my skateboard and trophy away.

" Aw. Fine. " I reply walking to Nelly's cage.

Nelly is our lizard pet. Mostly Redglare's pet though. Terezi and her had a thing for dragons and that type of stuff. I stayed clear of that and skateboarding was my main thing.

I took the food for Nelly and put it in her little pail. That was where it was supposed to go for where I give her food. I think. Well do course it went there because I had always been feeding it to her like that.....

Okay I am getting off subject. I stop spacing out and give her her food.

I slap my hands together with satisfactory and head off to my room. After a hard Sunday of work I had to get some sleep for tomorrow.
