Betrayl
Jinx teleported us to the Angelic Dimension to find my mom. I lead everyone to her house. I knocked on her door. It opened a bit. Then closed. I heard something unlock as the door opened fully.
My mom emerged from the darkness. "What are you doing here?"
"Asking for your alliance," I asked.
She frowned. "I'm sorry. I'm not like you, or Jinx. I swore my allegiance to Angels, not Demons, not both."
"You can't be serious!" Jinx yelled.
"I'm afraid I am," she said more than serious, "I'm sorry, but I have to defeat you."
She held up her weapon in a fighting stance.
"WE'RE YOUR FAMILY!" Jinx yelled engulfed in rage.
"Not now," my mom answered.
A tear rolled down my cheek as I got in a fighting stance with everyone. "Very well," I said.
"Why do we always have to fight to save our lives when we hang out? Can't we just watch a movie without worrying about dying?" Jacob asked.
"Because normal is boring," Leo smiled.
My mom charged at me as five more guards came behind her.
"EVERYONE STAY TOGETHER!" I heard Malikah yell.
I faced my mom. She looked in pain.
She stabbed my shoulder and scraped my knee. She then tried to force her knife to my heart. I held it away, barley.
"Mom, don't make me do this," I pleaded.
She sighed. "I'm sorry my child, it has to be this way."
I held the knife and turned it around so it would hit my mom's heart. I closed my eyes as I pushed the knife forward. I felt my mom's struggle end. I opened my eyes as she dropped to the ground. I dropped to my knees and cried. I heard the fighting behind me stop as Alex and Jinx approached me. They hugged me.
"It'll be ok," Alex said.
Jinx let go. "She betrayed us Amive. I know she was your mom but-"
I cut her off. "I know. She forced me to."
"Let's get out of her before more guards come," Malikah said.
I nodded and stood up.
Jinx and Malikah led as I stood next to Leo. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me. "It'll be okay when this is over," he smiled.
I nodded and kept walking. "It better..."
