Chapter 9 - The Awakening

Ty turned around to see Amy moving. Ty ran over to Amy and Amy was trying to pull tubes out of her mouth so Ty helped her. Amy tried to sit up when she did she screamed.
"Amy don't sit up, lay back down slowly" Ty said.
"OWW" Amy yelled in pain  as Ty tried to help her back down.
"Ty" Amy said.
"Hi babe, hi babe" Ty said as he stoked he cheek.
"What happened" Amy asked.
"You were going to jump Ace and instead of jumped he bucked you off" Ty said and grabbed her hand. Amy started to cry.
"Amy what's wrong" Ty said and kneeled down beside her.
"what's wrong with me like what happened" Amy asked Ty.
"Well you have a sprain arm, broken rib cage and your rib cage was going into your lungs and you were having trouble breathing and almost stop breathinggg.." Ty was having a hard time saying that and tried not to cry. Amy rubbed his arm.
"So they did surgery and now your fine" Ty explained.
"Oh and also umm your... pregnant" Ty said.
"IM WHAT" Amy yelled.
"Your pregnant" Ty repeated.
"Oh My God is the baby ok!! How can I be there's no way.. I took a test and.." Amy said and started to cry more from being overwhelmed. Ty started to rub her back soothingly.
"Yes the baby fine as far as I know anyway" Ty said. Just then Dr. Norman walked in
"hello Miss. Fleming I'm your doctor Dr. Norman. How are you feeling" said Dr. Norman asked Amy. "Sore... Very sore" Amy said.
"Well that understandable" Dr. Norman said.
"Ty did you tell her" Dr. Norman asked.
"Yes" he answered.
"Amy I need to look over you and your baby" Said Dr. Norman.
"Ok" said Amy. Ty quickly called Lou and told her the news. Dr. Norman pushed Amy bed into another room and Ty followed Amy.
"Ok Amy in going to look over you and then do an ultrasound to see how to baby is and then a blood test ok" Said Dr. Norman.
"Ok how far Am I along" Amy asked nervously so Ty grabbed her hand. "Well let see, Amy put your feet into the stirrups". Amy squeezed his hand. They looked at the screen and seen the baby well blob that was their baby anyways. Ty kissed Amy.
"Everything seems to be good" she said. Dr. Norman then asked Amy to pull up her shirt so she did and pressed on her stomach.
"Ow" Amy whispered
"Good" she said.
"I'm going to look over you now Amy" Dr. Norman said. Dr. Norman looked over Amy and said
"good". Ok Amy can you pull up your shirt again. The doctor got a machine.
"This gel will be cold" Dr. Norman said as she put the gel on her stomach and then remote. It hurt Amy half the time but Dr. Norman was gentle. They seen a tiny blob on the screen. Amy started to cry and Ty kissed her cheek.
"Looks good but small fairly small, that's why your not showing yet, you will be in the next few weeks; you are about 7 weeks" Dr. Norman said as she wiped the gel off her stomach. Dr. Norman got a needle and took some blood.
"Ok we are taking you to the recovery room now" she said. Dr. Norman wheeled Amy to her new room. we think you will be able to leave around 1 week depending how you heal.
"Ok" Amy said. She got a call so she answered it. She came back to Amy and Ty and said
"your family is waiting in the waiting room and wants to see you". She said.
Ty looked at Amy and she nodded.
"Bring them in" Ty said. Lou, Georgie, Jack, Tim and Katie came in.
"AMY" Lou exclaimed as she was crying and went to hug her and then remembered about her surgery that and didn't.
"How are you feeling" asked Jack. "Sore and Tired" Amy replied.
"Well just wanted to make should that you were ok" said Tim.
"Well I'm glad your ok Amy but you look like you got beat up" Georgie said.
Amy had a laugh a bit at that but it hurt her to laugh.
"I feel worst than that" Amy said.
"We should go and let you rest Amy" said Jack.
"Bye Auntie Amy and Uncle Ty" squealed little Katie.
"Bye everyone" Amy and Ty said. The family left.
"I can't believe that I'm pregnant still" Amy said and placed a hand on her stomach.
"I know" Ty said and placed his hand on her stomach.  Amy lifted up her shirt.
"Omg look at me" Amy said and gasped.
"Ames just don't think about that, ok" Ty said. Amy had a weird face on her.
"Amy are you ok" Ty said looking at her.
"No" Amy bursted into tears trying to sit up.
"Ouch" Amy said.
"Amy calm down, your fine, I'm here and not going anywhere" Ty said leading into her trying to get her to lay down.
"This all can't be happening, Ty tell me I'm dreaming because this is ridiculous, Am I dead, please tell me I'm dead" Amy was rambling on.
"Amy calm down. Amy your going to be fine and don't even talk about... You dieing because your very lucky you didn't ok Amy. Your going to be fine I'm not leaving your side ok" Ty said letting a tear slip down his face by looking at Amy in so much pain and suffering and getting told too much stuff to handle in her conditions
"This is too much to handle. Nearly dieing, looking like I got beat up, being on life support, putting everyone through so much stress and being pregnant and almost killing our baby before even being pregnant for a month" Amy said sitting up trying to get closer to Ty. It took a lot from Amy to sit up. Ty just held her as close as he could without hurting her so she didn't have to hold her our weight but she kept pulling him closer. Amy still crying her eyes out.
"Ty I'm so scared" Amy muttered as scared as I was when I when blind.
"Amy of what you have been through worst Amy remember at least you have your sight" Ty said reassuringly.
"Ty I'm pregnant. "What am I going to do" Amy said sobbing more.
"Amy that's what's your worried about! were going to make it work, I promise" Ty saying trying to calm her down because that's the least thing Amy need right now. Amy just held on to Ty and cried more. Ty was starting to get emotional. Ty had tears in his eyes rolling down his cheeks.
"Amy please stop crying your going to make me cry" Ty said starting to cry a bit himself. Amy looked at Ty.
"I'm sorry" Amy said will years steaming down her face.
"Ames it's not your fault I understand" Ty said and let Amy cry into him well he comforted her. After around 20 minutes Amy finally stopped crying with Ty also crying a bit for Amy, he's never seen her so unstable. Ty wiped the tears from her eyes.
"Amy were going to make this work" Ty said and took her hand with both of his hands. Ty reached into his pocket and grabbed something.
"I believe this is yours" Ty said and took Amy's left hand and placed her engagement ring on it.
"Ty" Amy said.
"Amy I Love you soo much and I still want to marry you and have this baby with you, out if all this it's made me love you more" Ty said looking her in the eyes. Amy had a tiny smile at how much Ty loved her. Amy was crying yet again but not from pain from love.
"Ty I love you so much" Amy said.
Ty smiled and kissed her cheek.
"Well I love you more" Ty said.
"And Amy no matter what you can tell me anything ok, if ever something's bugging you ease tell me, you worry me when you don't because I know something's up, especially if you think your pregnant" Ty said rubbing his hand up and down her arm.
"Ok" Amy said.
Amy yawned.
"Amy you need some sleep to get better" Ty said.
"Oh ok can you please sleep with me tho" Amy said.
"Of course" Ty said. Dr. Norman put a bed right beside Amy's bed so Ty could stay with her. Ty got into bed and tried to cuddle with Amy but it was hard because of her surgery.
"I love you Ty" Amy said.
"I love you too and You" Ty said and kissed her and then her stomach. Amy smiled at him. They both fell asleep quickly.
