Chapter 8- The big news

Back with Amy

The doctors figured out that the rib cage was pushing on the lungs and there were going to collapse. Amy for the second time jalmost died if they didn't do surgery. Amy was fine now her breathing was back to normal and is expected to wake up anytime.

Dr. Norman came into the waiting room in surgery Clothes. As soon as Ty seen her he stood up and went over to her and so did Jack and Lou. Ty seen her face and almost died, she looked like she had bad news. Lou was crying still.
"Hello Mr. Borden, Mr. Bartlett and Mrs. Morris. Amy is doing fine and is expected to wake up any moment now. The problem with her breathing was that her rib cage was closing into her lungs and almost collapsed so we did surgery And now she fine" Dr. Norman explained. Ty felt a wave of relief knowing that Amy was going to be Ok.
"Can I please see her again or Jack do you want to see her or Lou" asks Ty.
"No Ty you can go" said Jack. "Yes Ty you can see Amy" said Dr. Norman.
"Ya I don't think I could go in there after..." Lou started to say and bursted into tears. Ty walk over to Lou and hugged her.
"Amy's going to be fine, are you sure you don't want to see her?" Ty asked.
"Ya" Lou said.
"Come this way" she said. Ty followed her into Amy room. Ty looked at her and seen she was hooked up to even more wires and tubes. She was now as white as a ghost. He missed the old bright happy Amy. Ty almost loss it right then and there. Amy was so bruised and cut. She had a swollen eyes and big scratch across her face.  He went and sat down beside her and took her hand and kissed her cheek. Dr. Norman and and a nurse came in and looked over her. The nurse asked Ty to back up from Amy so they could look at her. Dr. Norman checked over everything to make sure she was totally ok. Then she pulled up her shirt and Ty saw her bruises and scars from surgeries, two huge ones. Plus her side was totally black and purple. Amy looked like she had been beats up by 10 gang kids with baseball bats. Ty gasped at the sight of that horrible scene of his finaçe. They hooked up some more wires and gave her some more needles. Then the nurse gave her some more medication and said
"Why is she on this medication when there's better medication"
"We can't give that to her considering the situation" said Dr. Norman.
"What situation" asked Ty sounding very concern.
"One we can't tell you" said Dr. Norman.
"Why, if anyone was to know Amy would want me to know" said Ty. Dr Norman and the nurse exchanged looked. The nurse said
"we should tell him".
"I guess he is probably..." Dr. Norman was thinking out loud to her self. "Ty, How long have been together with Amy" Dr. Norman asked Ty.
"About 5 years on and off and Amy recently went to Europe on a tour with horses and even she came back and changed and we went on a break and it's been a week now. Why" Ty explained.
"Ok ya we should tell him I think " said Dr. Norman. The nurse left and shut the door behind her. Ty wondered what this was about, he was kind of worried.
"Well Ty you see we did I blood test and we found out Amy's Pregnant". Dr. Norman not even remotely sugar coating things. Ty just looked at Dr. Norman in total shock; he thought she was kidding but she wasn't. Ty was totally speechless. He managed To say "Shhee'ss Pr.. Pr.. Pregnant!?!" Ty exclaimed.
"Yes she is Ty" Dr. Norman said calmly. Ty couldn't believe it. Ty fell into his seat and almost fated
His Amy was pregnant and in a coma!!!
"If you have any questions just ask" Dr. Norman said as she left. Ty turned an looked at Amy. He took her hand and placed a hand on her stomach.
"Amy you need to wake up, for me and our baby" whispered Ty.
Ty stayed there all day and sat with her. Dr. Norman said
"if Amy doesn't wake up soon they could problems with baby or Amy". Ty went pale and fell like he was going to be sick.
"I'm surprised theirs nothing already wrong" said Dr. Norman and left the room.
Ty was emotionally and phsycailly sick. Ty had already had to run to the bathroom and was sick seeing Amy like this. But now Ty was starving but hated to leave Amy alone like this.
"Hey Ames I'm just going to get something to eat, I will be right back" Ty said to Amy. Ty kissed her cheek then her stomach and said
"I love you". Ty then started to make his way out when he heard a weird noise.
