Chapter 19- Home at last

This next morning Amy woke up and was still pretty sore. She looked over at Ty sleeping in the chair so ever peaceful and then looked at their beautiful daughter sleeping in a crib right beside Ty. They looked so much alike. Amy went to get up but then she tried and it hurt to much so she sat back down. Amy fell back asleep for a bit but then when she woke up to see Ty holding her hand beside her.
"Hey beautiful" Ty said.
"Morning handsome" said Amy and kissed him.
"How's our baby" she asked.
"As I can tell great" he said. Amy tried to get up again but Ty wouldn't let her. "Amy sit down" Ty said and helped her back into bed. Ty went and grabbed their baby ever so peacefully sleeping baby. Ty handed the baby Amy.
"Awww she's so cute I can't believe she ours" said Amy. "I know" said Ty. Then Dr. Norman came in. "How's the parents and baby" she asked.
"The baby seems good but Mom's a bit sore" Amy said.
"Well that understandable" Dr. Norman said and was checking over the baby.
"Well she seems good, I'm going to send a nurse to show you two all the stuff you need to know about how to care for this child like feeding her, changing her an stuff like that" Dr. Norman explained.
"Ok" Amy and Ty said. Dr. Norman then left the room. About 15 minutes later nurse came in and showed Amy how to breast feed, change a diaper, bath and other stuff. By the Time they were day it was time to go to bed. Amy fell asleep instantly.

Amy was up and ready to get out of this hospital! Amy felt much better so wasn't as sore and could walk without help. Amy was sooooo sick and tired of doctors and hospitals she just wanted to go home with their beautiful baby girl and her loving husband to be. Amy got up and walked over to there baby girl and stoked her cheek and then picked her up and rocked her. Their baby had bright, sparky blue eyes like Amy well that's what Ty said, a cute, button nose, a small mouth, cubby cheeks like Ty's and really really, light, hardly showing, blonde hair. She was so pretty. She was really small too; when she was born she was 5lb14oz. The nurse set up a bed beside Amy for Ty to stay in and he was still sleeping. Today was the day Amy left and she was so happy but only if her and their baby checks out.
Later Dr. Norman came in to the room and said
"well I need to check over your baby and you and if everything checks out good your free to go".  Amy was rejoicing. Dr. Norman took the baby and checked her over. Ty was sitting in the chair so Amy moved over and said
"Ty come and sit with me". So Ty came into the bed with her. Amy stoked his cheek and then started to kiss him and then turned into making out.

Dr. Norman walks into the room. "Miss. Fleming you... Oh" and walks right back out. Ty quickly jumped out of bed back into his chair. Ty was SOOO embarrassed.
"I'm soo sorry" Amy said.
"No I'm sorry" Dr. Norman said as she walked back in.
"well your baby is really health and ready to go, I just need to check you out now" She said and looked over Amy. Dr. Norman did a check up and did blood work.
"Well I'm I good" Amy asked.
"Yep your good all you have to do is sign some pieces of paper and you can leave " Dr. Norman said. Amy was so happy she got out of bed and changed. Amy walked out of the room to find their beautiful baby girl with Ty.
"Hi baby" Amy said to Scarlett. Amy filled out the discharge papers and they went to there truck.
Amy sat in the back of the truck with the baby. Ty was going so slow and asking how's the baby every 5 minutes.
"Amy how's the baby and you" Ty asked. "Ty were fine and you can drive faster even over the bumps" Amy said and chucked.
They then finally arrived at home. Amy got Scarlett out of her car seat and went to open the door when Ty already came running to open it and help them out. Amy and Ty walked into their house.
"Look honey it's your house" Amy said. Sophie and Buddy came running to greet them. Lou and Georgie came over to look after all the animals. Amy and Ty took the baby up to the nursery.
"Amy are you hungry or thirsty" Ty asked her.
"Well a bit thirsty" Amy responded. "Ok I will be right back with some water" Ty said and started to walk down stairs. Amy set their baby in her crib and said
"your sooo cute" and stoked her cheek. Scarlett started to cry a bit. "aww I bet your hungry" Amy said and picked her up. Amy grabbed her nursing pillow and sat down in her rocking chair. Amy then started to breast feed Scarlett.
"Here honey I brought.. Oh" Ty was saying. Amy just laughed and said "you can come in nothing you haven't seen before". Ty walked in and gave Amy her water. When Amy was done she fixed her shirt and got up and put Scarlett in her crib. Scarlett was already half asleep; Amy stoked her little head and she fell asleep instantly along with Amy who was kneeled down in front of the crib on the floor. Ty walks in about 15 minutes later runs to Amy. He was about to ask if she was ok but then he realized that she just fell asleep. He chucked a bit and very softly and quietly picked Amy and carried her down to their room. He set her down on the bed and grabbed a blanket from the end of the bed and put it on her. Ty then got in bed beside Amy and wrapped his arms around Amy and held her close. Ty kiss her forehead. Ty soon fell asleep
