Chapter 13- Miracle

Ty got to the hospital and ran through the doors and said
"HELP". Nurses came running over with a stretcher and put Amy on it. They ran Amy into emergency. Ty went with her but then a nurse said "Mr. Borden you must stay out here and wait. The doctors looked her over and she was fine other then a mild concision and deep cuts. The doctor then stitched up the cut on her leg and stomach. Amy was wake and started to yell for Ty. So Ty came running in. First thing Amy said to Ty was.
"Is the baby ok".
"No Amy first are you ok, how do you feel" Ty said more worried about Amy.
"I'm fine but my head and leg hurt a lot" suddenly this pain stuck her stomach.
"OWWW" Amy scowled.
"Amy what's wrong" Ty asked. Amy couldn't answer. Ty yelled for a doctor. The doctor ran in. They rushed Amy to do an ultrasound and they realized the baby umbilical cord was started to wrap around its neck. Amy started to cry. Ty grabbed her hand.
"Miss Fleming there's a good chance your baby May die if the circumstances don't change" Said the doctor. Amy screamed out in pain again and squeezed Ty's hand. "Would you like to wait it out or we can operator and try and untwist it but that's really risky because there's a good chance we will have to deliver the baby right then well do a C- section" the doctor said. Ty looked at Amy in pain. And thought Amy doesn't need anymore pain plus we would be risking Amy's life when they can just make another baby but not another Amy.
"I think we should wait it out" Ty said. Amy looked at him with her surprised look. They gave Amy some pain killers and they waited out in the hospital.
"Ty this is all my fault" Amy said and started to cry.
"Amy no it's not" Ty said and put his hand on her stomach.
"Yes it is, if I didn't ride Lacey this all wouldn't of happened. I need to take care of this baby and so far I'm the worst mother ever" Amy exclaimed. Ty instantly hugged her and said
"Amy your not" And she then screamed out in pain. Ty let go do her quickly  "Amy are you ok" Ty asked.
"Ya I feel fine now " she said. Just then the doctor came in and said "your family is in the waiting room and we told them what's going on. How are you feeling" he asked.
"I'm feeling fine now" Amy said.
"Oh ok well let's take in for another ultrasound and see was going on " the doctor said and pushed Amy down the hall to a room with Ty not to far behind her. They turned on the machine and put the gel on Amy. Amy cringed when he put the gel on her stomach because it was cold. They looked in the screen to see a miracle happened.
"Well it's a miracle, you have one tuff baby Miss. Fleming because it's ok the umbilical cord has unwrapped from the baby neck and the baby's ok" the doctor said. Ty kissed Amy's hand and they both smiled at each other. The doctor wiped the gel off Amy and pushed her back into her room.
"Well I want to kept you here for one night to make should everything's ok and then you can leave in the morning ok" the doctor said to Amy.
"Ok".
"Oh one more thing your family would like to see you guys?" The doctor said.
"Bring them in" Amy said. He nodded and left. A few minutes later Georgie and Lou came running in. Followed by Jack, Katie, Peter, Tim, Lisa and Casey.
"Amy are you ok" Lou asked.
"Ya now I am" Amy said. Now the family right around her bed. "What happened?" Georgie asked. "Well I have a mild concussion, deep cuts on my leg and stomach and later our baby's umbilical cord warped around it's ne.. Neck" Amy said as a tear slid down her face. Lou walked over the her side and out her hand on her arm "oh Amy I'm sorry"
"Oh it's ok it's fine now it unwrapped"
Everyone had looks of relived. "Good" Jack said. Georgie sat down on the end of her bed.
"Dadda I want to see auntie Amy!" Katie squeaked to Peter.
"Ok Katie" Peter picked up Katie so see could see Amy.
"Auntie ok?" Katie asked.
Amy giggled "yes Katie"
"Yay auntie all better" Katie said.
Everyone then laughed.
"Well I'm glad your ok Amy" Lisa said.
"When can you leave" asked Tim.
"Tomorrow morning"
"Well that's good" said Casey.
"Are you staying here Ty?" Asked Lou.
"Of course! I'm not leaving Amy here like this" Ty said. Amy smiled
Ty kissed Amy.
"Well we better go, we have chores to do" Jack said. Everyone said there goodbyes and left.
"I'm happy the baby's ok" Amy said. "Me too" he said. Amy smiled and kissed him. Amy fell asleep and Ty fell asleep holding her still shaking hand in the chair.
