I WENT BACK home silently without talking to Ibrahim,I needed time alone to clear my head and it seems Ibrahim understands that and let me be

I went back to the house only to meet Halimat clearing the dinning room,she stopped standing akimbo glaring at me,I roll my eyes and tried to walk out on her but she stopped me

"Care to explain everything that happened?"she asked and I felt like giving her a resounding slap,do we look like friends or what

"Wasn't it involving your dad? You should have asked him"I said walking away from her,I went back to my room and had my bath,I decided to sleep with Nadeerah and took her out of her room bringing her to mine

I lay her down on my bed laying beside her while she stirs on her sleep blinking her eyes awake,I thought she was going to cry but she didn't instead was playing with her hand putting everything inside her mouth

I chuckled touching her soft cheek,she lean on me and I knew she wanted to eat,I stood up and prepare her food and she ate it fastly,I was happy that she wasn't stubborn and decided to eat,I put her on bed again laying beside her

"There was so much drama today Nadeerah,today suppose to be a joyful day but as always Halimat and her family was here to spoil it"I muttered to my baby like she can hear what I was saying or bring her own opinion

Slowly and steadily sleep took over her and my eyes slowly closed too as I drifted off to the land of sleep

No one's POV

Yunus drove silently back to his house while Qadirah breastfeed Fareed before he slept off,Faiza laid on the back of the car and she was fast asleep

Qadirah's heart was beating fast as she tries to compose the things she's going to tell Yunus,she's not sure how she's going to tell him everything that happened and also not sure how he's going to take everything,it doesn't take a soothsayer to tell there's a heavy tension in the car,Yunus jaws kept on clenching and unclenching as he keep his full focus on the road

They got to their house faster than Qadirah would have wished for but either she likes it or not she had to face Yunus confrontation,Yunus pull the car into the compound, parking the car at one side of the compound,Qadirah came down from the car with sleeping Fareed while Yunus went to the back car to take Faiza who was fast asleep

They went inside their house still not talking to eachother,Yunus took Faiza to her room changing her wear to her pyjamas while Qadirah changed Fareed diaper and wore him an overall shirt

Qadirah went inside their room and met Yunus already took off his clothes only on boxer as he went inside the bathroom,she sat on the bed fidgeting her fingers,fear grip her and she internally prayed for Allah's help,Yunus came back from the bathroom wearing his pyjamas with Qadirah's eyes trailing every movement he made,he use the towel he wrapped on his waist from the bathroom to clean his head wiping the water away

He dropped the towel in one of the basket in their room for putting used clothes,he climbed the bed laying at the other side ignoring Qadirah,Qadirah became nervous because she hates silent treatment and she knows Yunus is angry with her

She stood up kneeling beside the bed where Yunus head is,he tries to turn his head facing the other side while Qadirah stopped him

"Stop giving me the silence treatment Yunus please just talk to me"Qadirah said pleading,Yunus stood up sitting on the bed with his legs on the floor

"Why did you hide things from me Qadirah? Something as vile as that,I thought we promised eachother never to hide things from eachother"Yunus said calmly and tears fell from Qadirah's eyes effortlessly

"It's not how it seems my love,I tried burying everything but it feels like things like that don't stay buried,it was hard for me and thinking about it alone is so painful"Qadirah said

"What happened?"Yunus asked quietly,tears left Qadirah's eyes in rush and she look away "tell me when you're ready"Yunus added and Qadirah's eyes shot open looking at her husband in love and adoration

Yunus stood her up wiping away the tears from her eyes before hugging her,he led her to the bed laying her down covering themselves with duvet

"I love you so much Qadirah and I will always understand,I will be patient and wait till you're ready to tell me everything that happened"he told his wife drawing her closer,he lean over and kissed her Qadirah replied immediately kissing him back,the kiss got heated and their hands start roaming eachother touching every touchable place in their body

Qadirah pull away from the kiss trying to catch her breathe before she whispered to her husband

The morning came and I stood up from my bed performing my salat,I bath Nadeerah putting her in bed before I went to the bathroom to have my bath too,I came out of the bathroom and met Ibrahim with Nadeerah,he kissed her cooing and playing with her while Nadeerah wrapped her small hand around Ibrahim's finger,I smiled at the father daughter moment

Ibrahim got aware of my presence and turn to look at me "Good morning" he greeted and I greeted him too,I took my cream and rub it on my body before taking one of my black Abaya wearing it

"Have you breastfeed her?"he asked and I nodded

"No,I only gave her baby food yesterday's night,I will be breastfeeding her starting from today"I said

"You should"I nodded and went to take my red veil,it's not like my breast is milky but I was advised to continue giving her like that that the breast milk might comes out,I took Nadeerah from Ibrahim and decided to try it out

I put my right breast on her mouth and she draws it immediately,I felt a tingling pain on my breast and I almost pull away but I let her drink it like that and the pain reduced before she took her mouth away,I chuckled when I saw her face and I imagined what she might be thinking,maybe she's felt like she's been felt empty breast and got angry before pulling her mouth from my breast

I handed her over to her dad who continue playing with her and I prepared her food, I have the feeder to Ibrahim and he helped me feed her while I took my shoes and brought out her drugs,I gave her her drugs when Ibrahim was through feeding her

"We are going to the hospital"Ibrahim said and I nodded,I took my phone and Nadeerah leaving the room with Ibrahim,we entered the car and drove out of the compound heading to the hospital

We asked for my mom and were directed to her,I met her on the uniform wore by other psychiatric patients and my mind went back to the first time I saw my mom on those,tears threatened to fall but I held it back,my mom sat on the bed looking at a particular place but more looking at her you know she isn't here,I went to sit beside her holding her hand and she turn to look at us

"Take me home Aishah"she said with her eyes welling up in tears "I told you before I don't want to come here again but you brought me back,take me to my husband's house!"she says and I hold her hand giving her Nadeerah,she look at her for awhile before asking

"Faiza?"she asked and my heart broke,my mom had been traumatized a lot when Mr Kandiri first made an appearance in our lives and I know how traumatized she is now

"Nadeerah"I replied wiping away the free tears that left my eyes

"Who is Nadeerah?"she asked looking between me and Ibrahim

"My daughter your granddaughter"I said and she started laughing,Ibrahim took Nadeerah from her hands immediately

"He beat you Aishah! Oh my dear child how do you feel now?"she asked drawing me closer trying to pull my abaya up so that she can see my hand for any forms of injuries,I tried to control my sob when she suddenly called Qadirah "Qadirah!! Is she in the hospital?! I warned Suleiman he never listened,I warned him not to take the money from Rasheed but he never listened! Where is Suleiman?! Where is Suleiman!?"she yelled jumping from the bed searching for my dead father

My heart sank and I tried holding her but she tried pulling herself away from me,Qadirah and Yunus suddenly rushed over holding her down as she started fighting and kicking calling "Suleiman"

"Doctor! Doctor !"Qadirah yelled as she cried and the doctor and his nurses rushed over,the nurse brought out an injection and injected her slowly she stopped kicking and fell asleep, Ibrahim gave Nadeerah back to me as he and Yunus helped the doctors laying my mom on the bed

We sat on down too overwhelmed to talk when Abdul came with fresh cooked food,he put the food down asking what happened but everyone was damn too tired to talk

We decided to leave leaving Abdul alone with my mom and he promised to take care of her

I went into the car with Ibrahim,he clenched and unclenched his jaws closing his eyes briefly

"I need to know what's happening"he said and I nodded

"I will tell you everything when we get home,so right now just ride"
