I GOT TIRED of staying in the hospital bed,time to time I will call Fareedah to wheel me to see my baby,Ibrahim named her Nadeerah and I was okay with it it's not like I had another choice

I got so happy when I could finally move my hands and the following day I was able to walk,my family's were so happy that my heart swell with love and the doctor informed us Nadeerah was ready to be taken home tomorrow

I decided to go home first and design Nadeerah's room to my taste,Qadirah and Fareedah was there to help me while my mom went home to take her bath she's been at the hospital with me throughout

Ibrahim drove us to the house on sighting the house my breathe quickened and hatred fled through me as I was anticipating to see Halimat,she didn't bother checking up on me in the hospital and I didn't mind either

The car came to an halt and we dropped down from the car,Ibrahim turn the car and left immediately because he had something important to do in the office,we entered the house and met Halimat watching the television

"Oh you survived!"she said laughing while unexpectedly Fareedah gave her a resounding slap

"How dare you?!"Halimat roared

"How dare you too,how dare you do all those things you did and walahi I'm going to make sure you end up behind bars because that's where you belong"Fareedah yelled at Halimat and Halimat tried hitting her again,before we knew it they were already fighting Qadirah called the police immediately dropping baby Fareed before joining the fight,I tried separating them but I couldn't I got tired and took the baby who is already crying when we suddenly hear the police siren

The police came into the compound and rushed into the house finally helping me to separate the fight,Halimat face swelled up with bruises on her lip,Fareedah had thesame bruise on her lips while Qadirah had a cut on her cheek,I got sick from seeing their faces and sat on the sofa

"Why are you all fighting?!"the police asked but Halimat decided to speak

"They came into my marital home and decided to gang me up"she said and Fareedah tried to hit her again but she was held by a police officer

"You useless thing,she was the one who kidnapped and tortured my sister!"Qadirah said and one of the police officers face palmed

"You all will be following me to the police station to make report"The officer said

"I have to inform my husband"Qadirah said taking her phone as she calls her husband informing him of the present predicament,Fareedah did thesame calling Rauf before we were dragged into the police van

The ride to the police station was short and we came down with the attendance giving us a pen and a book to write our report,soon enough Ibrahim came looking angry but I wasn't sure who he is angry with,Qadirah and Fareedah's husband came too before we finish writing our report

"I want to make a phone call"Halimat said excusing herself as she went to make her phone call,Ibrahim hold my right hand dragging me to the other side and I shot him a glare

"What do you think you're doing?"he whisper yelled and I gave him a dirty look

"Is that what you're suppose to be saying now?"I asked folding my hands

"You shouldn't have fought with Halimat! Oh my God!"he rub his hand on his temples turning around like he wants to hit something,he ended up raising his fist in the air "her dad is not someone you play with Aishah and he can go to any level to destroy any one who touches his daughter's hair"he added looking angry his eyes getting red from so much anger

"You didn't even asked what happened?,you didn't even try to find out the story and you just started shouting at me about how might Halimat or her dad might be,Ibrahim you disappointed me so much you didn't shout on her when she treated me badly but here you're shouting on me because of what happened"I said turning around trying to walk away while Ibrahim stopped me

"It's not how it's seems Aishah and right now I can't probably do anything to her,you have to understand"He said in a calm voice and I pull my hand away from him

"I can't understand anything and I wouldn't dare understand a shit!"I said walking away

Halimat gave the phone to the police officer smirking with her swell up face,we heard the police officer shouting "yes sir" before he handed the phone over to Halimat

"Madam you're arrested for assaulting Mrs Ibrahim Halimat"the officer said to us and my eyes almost popped out of it's socket,who does that? He can't just give a sentence like that

"Wait we can talk about this"Rauf said his grip on Fareedah tightening

"I'm sorry sir this is a command from the head"he said and handcuffed us

Rauf and Qadirah's husband seem restless,Yunus my sister's husband took Fareed and started petting him while he was crying for his mother

"This is her baby and she's still breastfeeding him please let them go"Yunus said and the police officer shook his head in a disagreeing manner

I look at Ibrahim but he was quiet throughout with his jaws clenching and unclenching,my eyes landed on Halimat she had this sly smile plus a devious smirk on her face then I look up to Allah

There's no being on earth more than you Almighty Allah and I know you will surely come to my aid

The police officer suddenly start pushing us to the cell while Rauf and Yunus kept on pleading,Ibrahim stood at the other side rubbing his face like he was about to explode and my mind wandered to Nadeerah,a lone tear escaped my eyes as I remembered she will be coming home tomorrow and I won't be there to welcome her

Not again

"Stop!"Halimat suddenly yelled and the Police officer stop pushing us turning around to look at Halimat

"I decided to forgive them,let them go"She said and the police officer nodded uncuffed us and I wriggle my hands looking up at her,Rauf and Yunus thanked the Police Officer and Halimat before they left with their wives,Ibrahim left going to his car without talking to me and I look at Halimat once more

What's she trying to do

She came closer to me leaning on my ear "that's just an example of what power can do Aishah,I'm powerful than you think and can definitely put you behind bars when I wish"she send and turn around sassing away

I stood there for few seconds chuckling at myself so she did all this because she's trying to show how powerful she is,I went over to the car and met her sitting at the front with Ibrahim who was waiting for me before he leaves,I climbed through the back of the car as we drove silently from the police station

I decided I'm not going to let this slide like that and I'm going to report her to my in-laws,I can't continue living in thesame house with someone who did all kinds of bad things to me,we entered the compound and I dropped from the car without looking back heading to my room

I'm so angry with Ibrahim because he isn't acting like a man,he wants me to forget about everything that happened like that seriously how can I? How can I forget how I was raped,lost a child and every other thing when the cause of my predicament is here with me,is here for me to see every day while she looks at happy and contented unnerved by all she had done

I went straight into my room and took off my clothes heading to the bathroom,I had my bath looking at myself in the mirror,my hand traced where I had been operated looking at the scar forming in the mirror,a lone tear escaped from my eyes and I sniffed,I remember the fact that I can't get pregnant anymore and sadness overwhelmed me

How can I ever forgive Halimat for all she had done? She destroyed my life and I have never been saddened like I am now,I never wished for this kind of marriage life,I cried and cried under the shower and decided I have to meet Ibrahim's family

Talking about Ibrahim's family non of them had came to visit me in the hospital,it's like they don't care about me or don't recognise me as their son's wife any longer

I went back to my room wearing my pyjamas,I lay on my bed dialling Qadirah's number

"Salam"I greeted

"How are you feeling?"she asked with concerns lacing her voice

"I should be asking you that,hope Yunus isn't that angry"I asked

"He was just disappointed that I dropped Fareed down and went ahead to fight"she said chuckling "anyways he is fine now though he isn't talking to me,he took Faiza and left the house"

"I'm so sorry dear"I said rubbing my temples

"Don't be don't be,I would give anything out to have that fight again"she said and we both chuckled "I am so damn happy I was able to hit that girl"she said

"I know Fareedah is happier"she said and we both laughed

"I'm so happy I finally got you laughing"she said and I quiet down smiling "we will talk later Fareed just succeeded rubbing his head on his poo" she added and I laughed

"Okay dear and greet Mr beautifully handsome for me"I said and she chuckled ending the call

I sighed and decided to call Fareedah,she picked the call on the third ring

"Babe what's up?"she said as soon as she picks the call

"I'm fine,how are you and Rauf?"I asked

"I just came out of the shower and the niggie is ignoring me"she said chuckling and I laughed, definitely Rauf is tired of her behaviours but love conquers all

"You should apologize to him"

"Definitely that's why I had my shower"she said and I got confused

"I don't understand,how does apologizing have to do with showering"I asked

"Ya Allah you such a novice,of course I'm apologizing in bed you don't expect me to go and kneel in front of him apologizing but I might actually kneel in the room doing something else"she said and I bursted out laughing

"Fareedah when will you ever change?"I asked and she laughed "I was thinking of reporting Halimat to my in-laws"

"Those ones that didn't bother checking up on you in the hospital"Fareedah said and I can feel the hatred in her voice

"I know but I will still let them know first before taking the case to court,I can't let it go like that"I said rubbing my head  "Ibrahim is not even making it easy for me,he is acting like I should just forget everything and move on, Fareedah how do you expect me to forget everything and move on just like that"I said sighing

"I know how it feels and babe I really give you an hands up for being this patient because if it were me I would have probably killed the lady by now but I don't know about the court issue because I'm sure you will end up loosing,you can actually talk with Ibrahim's family for the sake of your daughter,I investigated more about Halimat and found out she's Mr Kandiri's daughter"

"Mr Kandiri?"I asked confused

"Don't you remember Mr Kandiri?"Fareedah said and realisation hit me hard

"Ya Allah! It can't be"
