I WOKE UP the following day feeling lighter than yesterday,I saw an almost dried up towel at my side and I smiled,I was sure Aishah came into my room and probably took care of me

My smile suddenly stopped when I remembered what happened between me and Halimat

"Any plans yet"she asked while we were laying down on her bed

"What plan?"

"The marriage plan"

"Why can't you let this be for once"

"I can't because I have a feeling you have started falling in love with Aishah"

"What gave you that impression"I asked finally irritated by Halimat

I am tired of everything,she's not giving me peace at all and I'm starting to question my plan of spending the rest of my life with her

"Everything gives me that impression Ibrahim everything you does, you should just let me know if you don't want to marry me anymore"

"Fine!!! I don't want to marry you anymore,hope you're happy now"

"Are you joking or what?"

"I'm serious Halimat I'm tired of all this and I'm more at peace living with Aishah than you,she's everything I want while you're quite the opposite"

"You just realized that now that I'm not a wife material,you didn't realise that when you have been sleeping with me for all this while"

"Don't bring sex into this"

"Why won't I answer me!"she yelled

"We both wanted it,we both enjoyed it it's not like I forced you into sleeping with me so I'm done I'm so done"I said raising up my hand exasperated

"You don't know what you are up against"she says with lots of venom

"What can you do,of course you can't do anything other than to go and work on your character,no man would want to marry someone like you"

"I will make you regret this day Ibrahim,mark my words I'm going to deal with financially, physically, emotionally and spiritually that you will regret ever coming into this world"

"All you can do is ask your dad to take his share away from  the company, nothing more"I said picking up my phone and my car key trying to walk out on her

"What about Aishah,do you think I won't mess up with her"she says and I stopped on my track my body going cold immediately

I slowly turned looking at her while she plastered a cunning smirk on her face looking like a proud fowl that loose all its feathers

"Don't ever call her name ever again"I warned raising up my finger on her

"So I was right"she gasped covering her hand with her mouth "you are in love with her?"she said more like a statement

"Keep telling yourself that" trying to walk once more but she stopped me

"Let's see what happens when the game starts"

I ignored her and left the house banging the door on my way out

I stepped out of my bed and yawned thinking about how I easily got an high temperature thinking about what Halimat could do to Aishah,I chuckled and went inside my bathroom having a cool shower before trying to step out of the room

The door suddenly opened when I was trying to open it revealing Aishah with a tray of food

"What's happening?"I asked

"Why did you wake up so early?"she asked frowning I chuckled because I found her cute

"What did you want to do?"I replied her with another question

"Well I wanted to repay a favour"she shrugged and I smiled letting her go further into the room

She placed the tray on my bed and wave at me to come and sit

"You look sick yesterday what happened?"she asked

"Just ran some temperature"I shrugged saying half truth

"How are you feeling now?"she asked checking my temperature by placing her hand on top of my forehead

"I'm fine now"

"Okay then,you should eat"

"Coma and feed me"

"Seriously?! The last time I checked your hands are functioning very well"she replied folding her hands around her lower body

"It doesn't matter just feed me"she rolled her eyes and smirked cutting some pan cake and stuffing it into my nose

"What are you doing?"I half yelled

"Durhh feeding you"she replied nonchalantly

"Don't bother I can eat myself"I said frowning a little while she smirked harder

"More like it"she said and left the room

The days passed in a blur with us watching movies together, cuddling, helping her with her book or visiting her dad

There have never been a better days in my life than the days we spent together,Aishah was fun been friend with and she was warming up to me and her family too

I helped her in the kitchen and every other chores but most times we end up messing everything up,I also like her face when she gets angry

I left the house without her notice,I wanted to get her a birthday present, tomorrow was her twentieth birthday and I'm sure she's not aware because she haven't say anything about it but I found out anyways

I stopped my car in the front of the mall thinking about what I was going to get for her,I decided on buying her a simple necklace,I purchased a beautiful necklace I'm sure she's going to like and ordered for a cake to be delivered tomorrow

I stepped out of the mall and mistakenly bumped into someone who's no any other person but Halimat

"Longest time no see"she said smiling at me while I only roll my eyes trying to walk away

"Wait let's talk"she said stopping and I eventually stopped

"What do you want to say?"I asked frowning my face

"I'm sorry about what I said"

"Thank God you do"I said and tried to walk out on her once more and she stopped me again

"Let's get back together,I promise you I have changed"

"I'm not interested anymore"

"I'm sorry please just come back to me please"she plead

"Let's just be friends Halimat,I'm okay like this"

"But I'm not,life haven't been fun without you"

"I don't want to get back together with you"

"Just give us one more trial please"I was tired of arguing with her and just said something to dispose her

"I will meet you in your house then we will talk"she wraps her hands around me hugging me tightly,I hug her back and went over to my car walking away

I came back home late around 9:00pm,I met Aishah in the sitting room watching television with books scattered around her

"What are you doing?"I asked as soon as I stepped into the house

"Assignment"she replied

"I'm hungry"

"Your food is in the dinning room"she replied monotonously not even sparing me a glance

I was confused and worried about what might be going on that made her act this way

"What's wrong with you?"I asked

"Nothing"she replied packing her books,she left me in the sitting room and I got confused,she was alright in the morning so what's wrong with her now

I shrugged and went inside my room,I changed my wear into something simple,I went back downstairs and ate my dinner

I went to sit down in the sitting room watching a movie but my mind drifted to Aishah time to time making me uncomfortable and loosing my focus on the movie I was watching

I stood up since I wasn't paying attention to the movie I was watching and went to her room,I knocked at her door but she didn't reply and I tried opening the door luckily enough the door wasn't locked

I step inside the room and met her laying on the bed with her face on the bed sobbing quietly

What's wrong with her

I wondered and went closer to her  sitting at the side of her bed

"Go away"she said and I chuckled,she was acting like a kid

"What happened?"I asked

"Nothing"

"You know we are friends right and you can tell me anything"I replied but she stood up with her swollen eyes

"I don't want to tell you anything and also I don't wanna be your friend anymore"

"Why?"

"Just go"

"You know I'm not going to leave you like this"I said and she turned around,I wrapped my hands around her giving her a back hug

"Just tell me I'm always here for you"

"I'm fine"

"Enough of pretence and tell me what's wrong"

"Why is that lady hugging you?"she asked quietly that I almost didn't hear her speak

"Which lady?"I asked confused

"The one at the mall"she replied while I chuckled,I didn't know Aishah was capable of getting jealous and I'm enjoying every bit of it

"Are you jealous?"I asked chuckling while she left my embrace frowning deeply

"It's not funny"she huff

"I'm sorry"I said and draw her closer

"I'm not jealous"she says

"But it looks like you are"

"Why will she hug you at least we haven't divorced yet"she mumbled

"So you consider me as your husband now"I say chuckling enjoying every bit of this moment,I wish I can record this and play it over and over again

"You are laughing you're making jest of me"she said as tears slide down her eyes and she sniffed

"Ok I'm sorry"I said and bursted out laughing

"So I'm now something you mock right,I don't blame you at all I blame the fact that I couldn't help it and I couldn't control how I feel"she said crying harder and wiping the tears with the back of her hand in an unladylike manner

"How do you feel?"I ask finally acting serious,I always wanted Aishah to tell me she had developed feelings for me or show me signs but all she ever did is treat me like a friend

"It's nothing"she shrugged looking away

"Please Aishah I'm serious,tell me how do you feel"

"It will make me look stupid"she said looking at me in the eyes

"I promise you it won't, please"I plead wiping away the tears from her eyes

"I think I'm falling for you"she says with a very low voice

"I can't hear you"

"I'm falling for you Ibrahim"she said much louder looking at me in the eyes

I did what I have been aiming to do for long time now,I always fantasize about how I was going to kiss her one day,I locked my lips with her and kiss her slowly and passionately

She made me the happiest man on earth when she kissed me back,I wrapped my hands around her back pulling her closer to myself and she supported us by wrapping her hands around my neck, we kissed for awhile both lost in our whole new world before finally stopping to catch our breath

I placed my head on her forehead breathing erratically chuckling like I won a trophy

"I love you Aishah,I have always had this feeling for a long time now before we became friends"

"Seriously?"she asked looking directly into my eyes

"Yes,I do love you"
