I'm so excited for the Shadowhunters show. First looks at designs, the set, certain people (like first look at the weapons book, first look at the Silent Brothers) are being posted on shadowhunterstv.com pretty regularly. But the two teasers are seriously...those are NOT TEASERS.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the cast. Tell me what you guys think of them, as well!

~Katherine McNamara (Clary): I'd rate her 9/10 for Clary. Very good, but I think Lily Collins was better. More Clary-ish.
~Dominic Sherwood (Jace):I never liked Jamie as Jace. I'd rate him 6/10, and Dominic 8/10. He fits how I visualise Jace better, though not perfectly.
~Matthew Daddario (Alec): 9/10. I hope he's a good actor, though, because he seems like a cheerful, relaxed kind of guy. He'll have to work on the typical older-brother thing, and also the jealous thing.
~Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle):9/10.
~Alberto Rosende (Simon): 5/10. I was disappointed in him. And Simon's my favorite character :/
I guess you couldn't replay Robert Sheehan's perfection, but still. And I don't think he has chemistry with Emeraude either. There goes Sizzy.
~Harry Shrum Jr (Magnus): 9/10.
~Maxim Roy (Jocelyn): 9/10.
~Isaiah Mustafa (Luke):7/10. It just isn't how I visualise Luke.
~Alan van Sprang (Valentine): 8/10. He seems too old for the role, though. I mean, I know Valentine's middle aged, but he always appears to be as a youngish guy. And I want Valentine to have his trademark white hair for once!
~Kaitlyn Leeb (Camille): 8/10.
~David Castro (Raphael): 8/10. Isn't he supposed to have a brown skin tone?
~Jon Cor (Hodge): 6/10. He's far too..um, you-know-what-I-mean for Hodge. He's not the professor type at all.
~Jade Hassouné (Meliorn): 7/10. Does anyone else think the guy who played the elf with a bow and arrow and long white hair in the LoTR movies would be a good Meliorn? I watched one of the movies and that elf came into my mind the moment I read about Meliorn.
