Rose's POV

It's time. I'm excited and sad, I don't really want to go with Mateo. I want to go with Noah. I slip into my golden silky chariot and golden boots. I have to look nice, the party's at our place (Obviously!).

I'm walking to Mateo's to drop off his suit, which I bought for Noah...

                                                                   Mateo's POV

I'm still thinking about what Alana said to me yesterday, I feel like I want to go to the party with her, even more now. I have to push that all away because I hear Rose coming up the front steps to drop off my suit. "Honey! Make sure to get the door for Rose, and pay her back, money on the counter!" says mom "K mom" I respond.

"Hey Rose, wow you look nice." I say, trying to sound sweet. "Thank you, here's your suit, you don't have to pay me back," "Are you sure? It's ok here" I hand her the money. "Well, ok I guess,". We Were quiet for a bit so I accidentally blurted, "Was Noah your first pick for the party? Did your parents say no cuz they don't like him? Do you really want to go with me? Because it's not too late- ''Mateo, it's fine. It's too late. Haven't you heard by now? He's...going with Alana" I know she wants to go with Noah now.

                                                               Alana's POV

I can't wait to go with Noah! We have matching outfits, and all.

I am going to have fun with Noah, right?

I walk to Noah's area in the castle. I'm dressed in my "Before Party" outfit. A blue crop top, skinny jeans, and a gold chain necklace with matching earrings. "Hi Noah, ready for the picnic?". We planned a picnic before the party, to get to know each other better. It was pretty last minute, but he was insistante. "Ready!" at least he's excited.

                                                             Noah's POV:

I hear Alana coming. I open the door, and she says "Hi Noah, ready for the picnic?" I'm excited to go with Alana even if this wasn't my first pick. "Ready!"

                                                           Mateo's POV:

Rose went home to prepare for the party, and I decided to go for a walk. I was feeling down, because I wanted to go with Alana. Don't get me wrong, Rose is nice, but she's not like Alana. I was trudging to my house. When I thought I just saw Alana. I went over to her thinking I'd talk to her about the party/dance, but as I went closer I realized she was with someone. That "someone" was Noah. I stormed out of the area and called Rose. I asked her can I come over?

                                                                       Rose's POV:

I was struggling to put on my dress when I heard a buzzing. Then I realized it was my feather phone. I opened it up surprised when I saw that Mateo was calling me. Right when I answered the call He said "can I come over" in a somewhat angry tone. "Umm..sure" Then he hung up. I was confused after that call, so I went back to struggling to put on my dress. A minute later, I heard knocking on the door.

                                                                    Mateo's POV:

I went inside her room to see her struggling to zip up her corset. "Need help?" I asked. "Yes please, I have been trying for 3 whole minutes," she huffed. I helped her zip it up. "I'm going to make Alana jealous" I whispered to myself. "What?" she asked. "Nothing," I quickly replied.
