The Battle of Adak Island (February 2019) changed everything. While KISMET and Rasmus Kane were defeated, they successfully completed their mission with the Ascelpius machine. Primonium was launched into the sky over Alaska and quickly spread throughout the planet's atmosphere.

As a result, millions of people were exposed to the substance. Those with the Prime gene had their abilities activated. A few of these new Primes were recruited by Atlas to join the growing Prime Task Force. These recruits are known as the "second wave" and ran a few missions, namely those involving The Rogues and Senator Crane's run for the 2022 presidency.

Stella James (Starchild) led this sect of Primes. Following Director Shaw's dismissal from Atlas, Angus Tucker (Slugger) assumed a leadership role beside Stella. Lucky Locklear (Field) became the Prime Task Force's resident field medic. Holly Green-Taylor (Dryad), Zachary Newman (Neon Racer), Kahaia Namaka (Pisces), and Danai Jones (Vortex) made up the rest of the new team.

Bio:  Kahaia Namaka, or Kai, comes from the island state of Hawaii. She was one of the first new Primes discovered after the events of Adak Island. She was recruited to the team and quickly entered a relationship with Emily (Reverb). She possesses a calm, laid-back personality but can be serious when required. After the PRA was signed she joined The Exiles alongside Emily, Chase, and others. She rejoined Atlas after the defeat of Orion after The Battle of the Acropolis.

Notes:

Doesn't let anyone call her by her full name.

Her family and town think she's a Hawaiian goddess reincarnated.

She loves to surf.

Biography: Angus hails from the rural farmlands of Oklahoma. When approached by Atlas after the manifestation of his powers, his parents initially barred him from joining. He eventually was allowed to join the team alongside his best friend, Lucky (Field). Is known to be cocky and a hot head, which often lands him in hot water. However, he's brave and loyal. After The Exiles deserted Atlas, Angus assumed the position of co-captain alongside Stella (Starchild).

Notes:

Both he and his bat are called Slugger.

Middle name is Beau (no one knows, not even Lucky).

Has the record for most home runs in Oklahoma High School history.

Bio: Lucky Locklear comes from the same town as Angus. Born at a Native American reservation, his tribe believed him to be a shaman once his powers manifested. He's often the voice of reason within the group. Has a very caring and calming presence. Remained with Atlas after the mass exodus, but has shown signs of distrust and skepticism during his time on the task force.

Almost chose the codename "Shaman".

Is a member of the Cherokee Nation.

Angus is his best friend.

DANAI K. JONES | A10 | VORTEX

After her powers manifested, she was recruited by Atlas and joined the team to make a difference. Along with Oscar, she took Holly(Dryad)'s death particularly hard. When the PRA was signed, she joined The Exiles. She rejoined the team after The Battle of the Acropolis.

Notes:

Was homeless for a time before being recruited by Atlas.

Likes to dye her hair silver to match her eyes.

Rides around The Acropolis on spheres of air.

ZACHARY D. NEWMAN | A11 | NEON RACER/NEON

He was discovered in Iowa where he would run with his energy trail through corn fields, leading his town to believe aliens were among them. He's incredibly hyper because of his ability and is naturally curious. Theo took him under his wing, though, he's much faster than his elder speedster. Remained with the team after the signing of the PRA.

Thinks Theo is the coolest person in The Acropolis.

Favorite movie is Tron: Legacy.

Will eventually be able to run faster than light itself.
