RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
*No one's P.O.V.*
He floored the gas of his truck, speeding away from the tiny house he had hidden in.
5 years.
For 5 years, no one had known where he was.
But now they were on to him again.
Trees flew by in the pitch black night, save for the full moon that lit up the night sky.
A full moon.
This was not good.
Not good at all.
"Nothing is going my way tonight." The 20 year old looking man grumbled, peering into his rear view mirror. His keen dark brown eyes could just make out 3 distinct headlights of 3 different trucks.....
BAM!!!!!!
CRACK!!!!!!
The man flew towards the windshield of his truck, crashed through and tumbled onto the forest floor! Dizzy and confused, the man hid behind a tree, staring at where he had come from. His truck, needless to say, was not like it's owner. The truck was wrecked, crashed into a tree 10 feet from where the man hid. The 3 trucks pulled up to the wreck, causing the man to duck into the shadows.
"How did they find me?" The man thought puzzlingly, even as he tried to calm himself, "It had to have been that one time I went on a rampage last month. Dang this full moon... and my curse......!"
"Where is he?" A older man asked a tattooed covered guy.
"He's not here, sir..."
"Well, don't just stand here, spread out! He couldn't have gone far!"
"Snap!" The man thought, his heart racing again.
Uncertainly, he glanced towards the full moon, then towards the men from the truck. That's when the man decided to break his number one rule:
Never Turn Into Werewolf Form, (especially when the full moon is out).
The man closed his eyes, counted to 3 and howled loudly.
The howl was the key in releasing his werewolf side; when he howled, his body began to turn. His shirt ripped apart, falling onto the forests floor in shreds. The mans stretchy pants stretched, fitting his new body type. A tail popped out of his pants; shaggy, with bits of leaves already tangling into its fur. Brown, shaggy fur covered his entire body, as his jaw painfully turned into a snout. His ears grew and stretch, becoming pointy; now he could hear clearer. His eye color turned from a brown to a bright yellow, glowing with raw power.
The werewolf took off through the woods.
(Imagine this, but with pants).
The men chased after the Were Creature, firing futilely at the speeding mythical creature.
The Werewolf ran.
He had no other choice.
If he let those men capture him, he would end up dead...... Or worse.....
The werewolf shook that thought out of his head. Leaping over a tiny ravine, he sped through a small field. He had to get to the other side of the clearing, had to find cover. Leaping over a tractor trailer, the Werewolf sped towards the woods edge. He was almost there....
Until a car changed his life forever.
The vehicle slammed into the Werewolves side, causing the Were creature to fly! 20 feet away from the car, he rolled painfully into a ditch. "Ow...." the man groaned, even as he turned back into his human form.
The couple in the vehicle, a man and a woman, exited the car and ran towards the general direction of where he hid. "Maybe if I stay still enough, they won't see me." He thought, watching the military like lady and crazy man search for him. The lady grabbed the guy by his collar and dragged him towards the werewolf.
Now the werewolf was growling, trying to get up and run away. Unfortunately, his healing factors hadn't fixed his broken hip yet. The lady, seeing that he was scared, nealt down and gently reassuringly said, "It's okay, where not here to hurt you... Timothy Mordred."
The man stopped squirming like a worm. Suspiciously, he stared up at the 2 as he asked, "How do you know my name? Have we met before?" "No, but we have a job offer for you, in a magical place called the Library." The crazy guy replied, kneeling down, "My name is Flynn Carson. I'm the main Librarian. And this (motioning to the military lady) is Colonial Eve Baird, our main Guardian...."
Searchlights began to shine from the far side of the field! "Listen, we don't have time," Flynn quickly spoke, "We're going to have to explain more to you once we get to the Annex------" I cut in before Flynn could utter another word, "How do I know that I can trust you?!? For all I know, you could be working with the people hunting me down....!" "We aren't working for Dulaque, trust me. Besides, you don't really have a choice," Eve Baird stated with a shrug, "Either you come with us, or you can risk waiting for your hip to heal while the Serpent Brotherhood searches for you."
"How do you know---- You know what? Never mind. I'll go with you 2; only because I don't have a lot of great options here." Timothy Mordred agreed, grumbled slightly under his breath about trusting strangers that he didn't know. Flynn Carson and Eve Baird got on both sides of the Werewolf, supporting the man between them. As they hurried back to there car, Timothy heard something he didn't want to hear.
A name he didn't want to hear.
"Jenkins, open the Back Door; we've found Timothy Mordred."
".... snap!...." was all Timothy could think, before he blanked out.
