Vixenclaw returned to camp."Aww, finally I caught a rabbit on a hunting patrol," Vixenclaw meowed cheerfully.

"I'm going to watch this happen so I can remember it forever," Cedarmask laughed from a distance.

She stared at him, confused.

Graystar walked up to her. "Vixenclaw, you have been caught working with RainClan. From now on you will be an apprentice until you are trusted again," Graystar explained.

"What! I've never worked with RainClan!" She exclaimed.now understanding why Cedarmask had laughed about. This was all his fault.

"You will be known as Vixenpaw once again, although you don't need a mentor to learn, you shall have one to watch over you, they will be decided at the next clan meeting," Graystar meowed.

"No! She's my mentor!" Snowpaw said sadly.

"Snowpaw it's okay. You wouldn't want a unloyal mentor would you?" Graystar asked calmingly.

"No! But Vixenclaw is my mentor, not anyone else! I know she isn't meeting with RainClan!" Snowpaw whined.

"I'm sorry Snowpaw," Graystar meowed.

This must have been the work of Cedarmask!  Vixenclaw thought. I need a mouse.

Vixenclaw wandered over to the fresh kill pile trying not to get too mad about Cedarmask.

"VIXENCLAW, PUT THAT BACK! You're an apprentice now you hunt for elders before yourself!" Graystar yelled across camp.

"How am I going to eat if I don't have a mentor until clan meeting?" Vixenclaw asked obnoxiously.

"You won't," She replied.

"Fine," Vixenclaw meowed, "I'll go sleep until the meeting,"

Vixenclaw headed to the warriors den.

"Vixenclaw..." Graystar meowed.

"Fine!" Vixenclaw meowed.

Vixenclaw went to the warriors den wondering when they will find out that Cedarmask is a rogue.

"Hey Vixenclaw! At least you get to be in my den with me!" Snowpaw said. 

"Cool, but this isn't exactly the reason I'd like it to be in here for," Vixenclaw replied.

Vixenclaw was soon fast asleep...

"Vixenclaw... the worst is just beginning, the rain will fall heavier than this," A mysterious voice murmured, reminding her of the prophecy.

"The rain will be heavier... The rain will be heavier..." a chorus began.

"Tell me more!" Vixenclaw begged.

"The rain will be heavier..." The chorus continued.

"Please, tell me more!"

Then she was awoken by Snowpaw.

"C'mon Vixenclaw I know it isn't the best meeting but it has to happen," Snowpaw meowed sadly.

The clan joined at the grassrock to listen to the meeting, murmuring, as they stared at Vixenclaw.

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey report to grass rock!"

 Once all the cats had gathered, she started. "It is clear to me that Vixenclaw is not trusted as of right now. We can only hope this is not true, but I've been told Vixenclaw was working with other clans. Vixenclaw you know what you have done and you know you must be punished," Graystar meowed.

I didn't meet with the other clans, when will she get it? Vixenclaw wondered.

Graystar continued, "From this day on until you are trusted, you shall be known as Vixenpaw. Now that you are an apprentice once again, you need a mentor..." She trailed off.

Graystar looked around, looking for and appropriate mentor.

"Ah. Nettlefrost will be her mentor."

Vixenclaw felt relieved.

"But she needs another punishment too. Until we decide what to do with him, she will take care of Cedarmask too."

Cedarmask grinned evilly.

What does that cat want from me?  Vixenpaw thought.

"This meeting is dismissed," Graystar concluded.

"Ohh Vixenpaw, I want a rabbit!" Cedarmask laughed.
