Somewhere in the Mistypeeks.

Two hunters were exploring the area searching for Nargacuga tracks. The two are experienced hunters who have been hunting for years so hunting a Nargacuga would not be difficult. One was a male the other a female. Daichi and Aki.

 Daichi searched closely while Aki looked for track further away. After a while of searching they found a trail leading into a very large open area. They sprinted into the area. The area had two destroyed houses from village years ago. They looked around but found nothing and the tracks just stop. They quietly looked around seeing if there was any trace of a Nargacuga. There was a sudden noise and both Daichi and Aki turned there attentions to the noise which came from the top of one of the destroyed village houses. They found a man in Strange Nargacuga armor standing at the top with a Longsword on his back.

"Another hunter? what are you doing here?" Daichi asked

"The same reason your here, I'm looking for that Nargacuga," The strange man asked with a muffled voice because of his mask.

"That's not possible, only one group of hunters can take a quest," Daichi told the man.

"Who ever said I pick up a quest?" He said looking at Daichi.

Daichi was confused for a moment be realized what he meant.

"Where did you come from?" Aki asked curios about him.

The man jumped down from the house and landed in front of them.

"I just explore the land, I go from place to place. But where I come from I will not say," He said looking at them.

The two here just confused.

"Shall we look for that Nargacuga?" he asked as he started walking.

The two followed behind him. After a while of walking they found several scales on the ground. The man picked them up and put them in his item pouch. There was a sudden roar that came from the next area. The three hunters quickly sprinted to where the roar came from and when they arrived there they found a Nargacuga feeding on a dead Ludroth. They also noticed that it was injured. There was a large hole in its wing with blood running down the rest of its wing. The man slowly walked up to it making sure that it wont get enraged. Aki and Daichi stepped back slowly so the Nargacuga wont think its an attack. Suddenly the Nargacuga turned its head around and found the man slowly walking towards it. The man stood for a moment staring the monster in the eyes. The Nargacuga turned it body around to face the hunter, it readied its body to protect itself. The man started making a tiger like noise with his mouth. The Nargacuga then started making tiger like noises back. Aki and Daichi just watched, Aki was amazed while Daichi was suspicious.

"He's communicating with it, that's amazing," Aki whispered.

"But how is that possible? no one has ever been able to do that," Daichi whispered back.

The Nargacuga then laid down like it hasn't laid down in a long while. The man walked up to the injured wing, pulled out a potion and started pouring it on the cuts. Aki was fascinated. She slowly started walking to the monster.

"What are you doing, Aki? Get back here," Daichi whispered in worry.

The man turned around to see Aki walking closer. She stopped for a moment looking at him not knowing if it was safe. The man just nodded and looked back at the Nargacuga. Aki then stood by his side and also looked at it. The man took her hand and placed it on the Nargacugas wing. She gently pet the monster not wanting to anger it.

"This is amazing, how are you able to do this?" she asked the man

"I've been training for years, every monster has a different way. If you wish I could teach you the ways," he said looking at her.

She smiled in joy and nodded.

"What about my hunting partner, Daichi?" she asked.

"If he's willing to learn then I will teach him," he said, looking at Daichi who was still worried about his partner.

Daichi noticed the man looking at him. He did not trust him so he stayed still telling Aki to return to him. Aki did not listen to him and continued to pet the monster. The man then took her hand away from the monster and took a few steps away from it. Aki then looked at Daichi and put her hand out telling him to come. Daichi did not want to go with this man but he did not want to lose his partner. He did not come any closer to them. Aki then put her hand down and looked at the man. The man then man a Nargacuga growl which caused the Nargacuga to get up, he then pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it at the ground making a huge smoke cloud and disappearing with Aki. Daichi was in shock, he just lost his partner. He then noticed the Nargacuga in front of him growling. He quickly started sprinting away from it. The Nargacuga started running after him. After a while of running he noticed he was in the area with the destroyed village. He also noticed that there are one Star Knight walking in that area. He ran to her for help.

"Help!" he yelled running to her

She noticed him and pulled out her sword as she noticed the Nargacuga behind him. He got behind them as the monster got closer. She pulled out a Farcaster, threw it at the ground, and green gas from it. Suddenly a windrake flew down and one of the Star Knight used her grappling hook to hook its claw. She then grabbed Daichi and they flew off avoiding the Nargacuga. After a short while they retuned back to the camp.

"Thank you Star Knight, I owe you my life," he thanked her.

"oh, theres no need to owe your life to me," she said in her light voice,

Daichi looked at her and found a young girl, he was in shock.

"Your a Star Knight? What's your name?" he asked.

"I'm Touka, whats yours?" she asked.

"I'm Daichi, why are you here alone?" he asked curious.

"I would rather not say to someone I just met, if you dont mind," she answered.

"Thats understandable," He said as he walked to the camp tent and sat down on the bed.

The started to darken so Touka started a fire and sat down holding her knees to her chest. Daichi sat on the other side of the fire staring at it. Neither of them said a word. The sky was black and the moons was up shinning. After a while the two just fell asleep beside the fire as it dimmed.
