Rin, Jiro, Kaziu, Elora, Nuria and Nora were all sprinting through the cave when they found Ava and the other hunter that was with her.

"Nora, are you all right? What's going on down there?" Ava asked her.

"Its something dangerous, we have to leave," Nora said to her when a sudden loud noise that shook the entire cave scared them.

"We have to go!" Jiro yelled as him and the rest continued running out of the cave.

The two researchers nodded and followed them.

At the bottom of the cave 

Vaal Hazak swiped its tail hitting CrystalBeard in the chest knocking him back. Sliverwind used his Long Sword and slashed through the monster from on side to the other. Redhelm jumped off of a broken cave pillar and started spinning in air with her duel blades and started cutting the sides of the monster. Deadeye shot arrows into its face. Vaal Hazak then stood on its back legs and started falling. Stonefist quickly dodged out of the way, charged her hammer and slammed it into the monster's face knocking in onto its side. Grimclaw changed his Charged blade to Ax form and slashed the monster's face causing it to quickly get up and jump a short distance away. The twelve were making their way towards it when Dreadqueen noticed it was sucking in the dead air in the area.

"Get ready to dodge!" she yelled as everyone nodded watching the monster.

Vaal Hazak then shot out and beam of toxic gas spraying it across the room. all of them where able to dodge it excepted Dreadking. He put up his shield blocking the toxic gas beam. Vaal Hazak kept the beam on him as it walked closer. Dreadking used all his might to keep his shield up even digging his feet into the ground. Hellblade quick ran up to its face and jumped onto its neck and started bashing its face with her shield repeatedly. It stopped the monster's Toxic beam, but it started slamming its face into walls trying to get her off. Hellblade was able to stay on holding on as tightly as she could. Thunderlord used his insect glaive to vault himself into the air and onto the monster's back.

"Throw me the barrel bomb neckless!" Thunderlord yelled.

Drilltusk pullout barrel bombs tied together with string and threw it to Thunderlord. He caught it jump to the monster's neck and wrapped it around the neck. He then lit the neckless. Hellblade jumped off but Thunderlord vaulted off. Then neckless then exploded casing the monster to freakout. Thunderlord, while in air, then launched himself with his glaive back at the monster swinging his glaive around cutting the monster wings. Thunderlord then landed on the other side of the monster. Vaal Hazak the jump away again to a safer spot. It again stood on its back legs but this time it charged its toxic beam again but was aiming at the ground. Snowbaron quickly sprinted to it. Their was another broken cave pillar so Snowbaron climbed onto it, jumped off, pulled out her switch Ax, Switch it to sword form, and slashed its face cutting off a large chunk of its rotting scales from its face, reviling its bones. Vaal Hazak roared at them and it quick slashed its very bone claws at Snowbaron knocking her back and also cutting her arm. She held her arm in pain feeling the blood flow through her fingers. Drilltusk race to her to her and helped her up. He pull out a potion and let her drink it. Crystalbeard ran up to the monster pulled out his great sword and slash at its feet tripping it. He then started to charge his sword and aimed it at its chest area. Vaal Hazak quickly used its tail to trip him causing him to drop his sword. It then tried to eat him but was quick stopped by a lance stabbing it in the side. Dreadking then jumped onto its side holding onto the lance and pushing in inside. Vaal Hazak roared in pain and slammed its side into a wall casing the roof to cave in. The twelve got away from the falling rocks. Vaal Hazak could get away fast enough and was crushed. The light started to shine from the hole in the ground showing the sky. They all looked up catching their breath. Dreadking popped out of ground brushing the dust off of him.

"Well, that's done," Deadeye said putting her bow away.

"Yay, We win, we win!" Stonefist yelled happily.

"All right we should get going," Drilltusk said helping Snowbaron.

The twelve but their weapons away and started walking towards they way they came. Stonefist and Dreadqueen were in back when Stonefist heard movement in the rocks. She turned around and suddenly Vaal Hazak attacked Stonefist from the rocks with its mouth and ate her Stonefist. The twelve were in shock.

"STONEFIST!" everyone yelled.

 Vaal Hazak then stood up out of the rocks ready for another fight. They all pulled out there weapons again while Drilltusk and Snowbaron moved away to a safer spot. Dreadqueen readied her Gunlance to attack but she noticed the something was causing it pain. She looked on the side of it to see something was coming out of the hole left by Dreadkings Lance. Stonefist tore the hole open more, jumped onto its back and up to its head. She pulled out her Hammer and slammed it into its skull breaking it open. The monster fell over barely able to move. Dreadqueen then walked to its face and aimed her Gunlance at the crack. She then charged the wyverian fire. There then was and Explosion from the Gunlance and the monsters head was destroyed. Vaal Hazak is dead.

"Are you okay, Stonefist?" Deadeye asked running up to her.

"Yep, I'm fine. I just smell now," she said trying to brush off the slime  that came from inside the monster.

"Well, lets go home," Deadeye said as she held Stonefist hand.

The rest of the Twelve put their weapons away and started to walk to a cave exit.

Back on the suffice after a hour

Xia, Shai, Satoshi and Uma where in a tent waiting for the Star Knights to let them into the hole but they would not. Joka was still with Touka. A Star Knight walked into their tent and brought them to the hole. Several Star Knights were around the hole helping Star Knights out of it.

"What? why did you guys go down there?" Xia said upset.

"Its our job it make sure this doesn't get out to the public, we can't let you down there." Leon said

Xia was angry as was Satoshi. Shai noticed something in one of the Star Knight, that came from the hole, bags. It was rotting scales.

"Xia, there is something down there," She whispered into her ear. "We will have to leave and come back when they aren't here"

Xia nodded. She then went to go get Joka. Joka and Touka were sitting in the grass when Xia arrived. Joka noticed her and stood up.

"Thank you, Touka," he said to her and walked to where his friends were.

Xia looked at her.

"What did you say to him?" Xia asked her curiously.

"I didn't say a word," Touka answered.

Xia was confused but she just walked away. Uma, Satoshi, Shai, Joka and Xia left the Star Knights camp but they were planning on coming back and seeing what happened down there.

At the gem castle, Hours later.

Ava and Nora came back to the Researcher, when they entered the room they found him and another person wearing a black cloak with him. The Researcher looked scared and the person seemed upset but when the person noticed the two girl, the person immediately stormed out of the room. The two girls walked to the Researcher.

"Who was that sir?" Ava asked.

"Someone who is going to kill me," he replied.

"What? why?" Nora asked worried.

"Because I made something....something I shouldn't have ever made," He said looking at the dead Star Knights hiding in the corner of the room. The two girls where confused because they did not know what he did.
