It was a day like any other for the hunters of the Gem Kingdom guild. The Gem Kingdom was full of the richest and strongest hunters in the world. They have faced elder dragons and lived to tell about it. The entire Kingdom was protected by a large defence wall so no unwanted monsters could enter. The Kingdom was a extremaly populated place so the market palce was always crowded during the day. One hunter named Jiro was walking through the area like he normaly does to get to the quest area where several hunters all ways are.

It was his first day in the kingdom and has not met any fellow hunters to hunt with. He soon arrived at the quest board and looked at the quests we was able to do. He knew where it was because that's where all the hunter go. He took a peice of paper off the board and handed it to the quest lady. The lady took the paper and put it in an envlope and handed it back to him. He then put it in a small pouch but as he truned around he noticed a large group of Star Knight walking towards the castle. Several other people noticed also and they just watched as they past by. As Jiro watched he noticed three hunters, two girls and one male.

"It Star Knight Leon, and his sister Touka, they have finally returned from that filthy village after three years" A random hunter said to another next to him.

"Do you know what was going on down there?" The other hunter asked

"I heard that it was just some kind of Gore Magala problem, nothing I couldn't handle," The hunter replied as he walked off

Jiro looked at the smaller girl and noticed that she looked upset. Jiro started following the group of Star Knights as well as some other hunters. They followed until the Star Kights arrived at the castle and entered the castle gates. The Star Knights closed the gates behind them and continued into the castle. Jiro looked at the castle gates in wounder.

"I do wounder what happened to them," a female hunter said who was standing next to him also staring at the gate.

"Yeah same here, my first day here and its all ready interesting," Jiro replied.

"Your first day? whats your name?" she asked.

"Its Jiro, and yours?" he asked.

"I'm Rin," She said as the two shook hands.

"Well pleasure meeting you Rin," he said.

"As is you, I could show you around the area if you like" she replied.

"Really? Thank you," he thanked her.

The two left the castle gates and started looking around the area. Rin showed him where the markets, Blacksmith and armory were. The two walked through the market place because Rin needed to get some new items. Rin would go from place to place looking for the items she needed. As Jiro was waiting for Rin he looked at the roof tops of houses just admiring the area seeing the winddrakes in the sky when suddenely he noticed someone running on the roof tops. He was very confused. Rin came back with a pouch full of items.

"All right i'm ready to show you where the new hunters stay," she said walking up to him

"Yeah um...who's that running on the roof tops?" Jiro asked as he pointed to the hunter on the roof.

"What?" she said in shock as she looked to where he was pointing. "Its Deadeye, i'll be right back," she then pulled a purple plant out of her pouch, lit it on fire which caused the fire to be purple. She put it in a slinger on her arm and launched it into the air and ran off.

Jiro was very confused but he then noticed other hunter in the crowed run after Rin. He also noticed hunters using grabbling hooks to climb onto the roofs. He looked at the Deadeye person and saw that the hunter pull out her bow and aimed it at an open area but before she culd let the arrow go she noticed the hunters running towards her. She put her bow away and pulled out a small item and pulled a pin. She then jumped down and closer her eyes. There was a sudden flash which blinded Jiro and several other people around. Jiro could not see what was happeneing. Deadeye then quickly grabbed as many fruits as she could. Jiro still blinded by the flash bomb tried his best to see and ran towards where he saw Deadeye last. As Deadeye was going to move Jiro ran into her which caused her to drop all the furit she stole and also knocked her down, but he also fell down. When he stood back up his vision cleared and he looked at the girl on the ground. She looked very young, long purple hair, and a purple eye the other eye was covered with an eyepatch.

Her armor was also strange. She got back up and pick up some of the fruits she dropped. Jiro tried to grab her but she kick him in the stomach and pulled out another item from her pouch and threw it down which let out a cloud of smoke. Jiro was again blinded but by smoke. DeadEye used her grabbling hook, fired it at a wingdrake to escape. When the smoke cleared Jiro looked around but found no trace of Deadeye. Rin and a few other hunter returned to where Jiro was.

"Darn it! she got away again," Rin pouted

"Who is she?" Jiro asked

"She a thief and she needs to be caught," One of the others said

"She's not just a thief, she one of the twelve," Rin said.

"One of the twelve?" Jiro asked confused.

All the hunters looked at him in surprise that he did not know who the twelve are.

"Come with me, I'll tell you about the twelve," Rin said as she grabbed his hand and started pulling him to the closest place to sit down
