It has been two years since Akimistu had gotten his Pokemon partner, his shiny Cyndaquil. A seven-year-old Akimistu slept peacefully in bed until Cyndaquil jumped onto his stomach, waking him up with a start.

"Ah!" Akimistu exclaimed, startled.

"Wake on up. You start the academy today, remember?" Cyndaquil said.

"Ugh, you don't have to jump on me like that through," Akimistu muttered, getting from under the blankets.

"Well, somebody has to wake you. Didn't set the alarm as your father told you to last night," Cyndaquil said."Also, remember how you always got startled when you heard me talk," She said with a laugh.

"Well, after realizing it wasn't my imagination as I kept hearing you that first week we became partners," He said, getting out of bed with his white pajamas on."I decided to tell my parents, and they said it was rare, but some members of the clan were gifted with the ability to understand Pokemon. Only a few have awakened the gift, one being the clan founder Chie Poketto," He stated, heading towards the bathroom.

"Good, I was sick of you freaking out when it should have been exciting to hear me talk, and better set that alarm tonight," Cyndaquil commanded.

"Geez, your commanding for a young Cyndaquil," He commented, grabbing his clothes and entering the bathroom to shower.

Cyndaquil laughed softly to herself as Akimistu shut the bathroom door behind him, seeing his behavior to be good entertainment.

A good ten minutes later, Akimistu walked out of the bathroom dressed in a white and grey jacket with a black shirt underneath and black pants. On the back of the jacket was an orange Pokeball silhouette.

He combed a hand through his peach hair that reached past his ear slightly, having grown longer over the past two years.

"Come on, let's go eat breakfast before father or mother come yelling for me," He said, walking towards the door as Cyndaquil climbed onto his shoulder.

"They wouldn't need to do that if you remember to set your alarm," Cyndaquil commented.

"Oh, stop it already," He said in annoyance, opening the bedroom door and walking out of the room.

Cyndaquil remained quiet as they headed downstairs to go eat breakfast.

Akimistu walked into the kitchen to see his father sitting at the table, drinking a hot cup of tea. He was wearing a black long-sleeve and grey pants. In a high chair next to him was a four-year-old Chika, who was wearing an adorable black and white dress.

His mother was at the stove finishing up the last of cooking breakfast.

"Morning," Akimitsu greeted with a warm smile.

"Good morning," Akane greeted back as she turned around. Her beautiful long hair was brushed back into a ponytail."Breakfast is ready. Eat on up, and then we will walk you to the Academy," She said, placing a tray on the table and empty dishes.

"Looks amazing. Thanks for breakfast, Mom," Akimitsu smiled happily, filling a bowl of soup and a plate of everything else.

"I go and see if Yasu is finished getting ready for tomorrow's mission," Minoru said, standing up.

"Wait, big brother, has a mission tomorrow?" Akimitsu asked.

"Yeah, him and his two teammates," Minoru replied, leaving the kitchen.

"Enough talk. Where is my breakfast?" Cyndaquil asked, looking at her empty bowl on the ground.

"You need to relax," Akimitau commented.

"What is Cyndaquil doing?" Akane asked, seeing her youngest son talking to Cyndaquil.

"She is just complaining about her empty bowl," He replied.

"Oh, Cyndaquil, it coming. Just added a few extra nutrients to the food," Akane said, walking over to the bowl and pouring a cup full of brown pellets and berries into the empty white bowl.

"Excellent nutritious breakfast for a growing young Cyndaquil," Yasu said, entering the kitchen.

Cyndaquil just ignored him and continued eating her breakfast.

"She doesn't even care to focus on her breakfast," Akimitsu chuckled.

"When do I get my Pokemon partner like Big Brother Akim?" Chika asked curiously.

"Next year, when you turn five," Minoru said, sitting down at the table with his family eating breakfast.

"Yay!" Chika said happily.

"So, are you and Cyndaquil ready for your first day at the Ninja Academy?" Yasu asked.

"Yes, the two of us are going to be a great duo, and eventually, we will gain more Pokemon friends and make my dream come true," Akimitsu said, smiling at Cyndaquil.

"I'm sure you will finish up, and then off we go, young man," Minoru said.

"Alright, Father," Akimitsu said, returning to eating his breakfast.

The rest of the breakfast was in silence. Soon as Akimistu was done eating, he headed upstairs to brush his teeth. Once that was all done, he and his parents, and Chika left for the Ninja Academy while Yasu continued to get ready for his mission tomorrow.

The three family members and Cyndaquil then arrived at the academy after a ten-minute walk from their home, and we walked through the hall looking for the right classroom. When they finally found room 103, the class, the lady at the front desk told them it was his classroom.

"Alright, here is your classroom," Minoru said, opening the door to the classroom.

"Now go find a seat and have a good day at the academy," Akane said, bending down and kissing his forehead.

"Okay, love you three," He said, smiling at his parents and little sister.

He then turned and looked around the class seeing a few other students there. His eyes roamed the room, looking for a good seat, when he spotted a fair skin boy with straight green hair going down to his neck and bright green eyes.

He hums thoughtfully, looking at Cyndaquil on his shoulder, and looks back at his parents and waves bye as he goes and sits down next to the boy. Akane and Minoru nodded and left with Chika holding both of their hands.

"Hi," Akimistu greeted.

"Hey," The boy greeted back.

"Look at that peach hair boy. He has such a fantastic face," A female whispered.

"I know, and his hair is amazing, but I got to admit the green-haired boy is also kind of cute," Another girl whispered.

Just then, the door slid open, and a tall, slim woman with shoulder-length blonde hair and ice-blue eyes walked into the room wearing a tan Chunin vest and placed a clipboard and papers on the desk before she addressed the class.

"Hello, everyone," She started."My name is Azami Oramai. Just address me as Azami-sensei. Now time to do a roll call."

"Daisuke Nakamura?" The green hair boy next to him immediately raised his hand.

Azami nodded as she called more names.

"Kenji Kanami!"

"Aoi Neko!"

This continued on until she called the last two names.

"Akira Sakamoto and Akimistu Poketto!"

Azami then put down the clipboard with the list of the students' names."Now we're going to start off with the history of the founding of the Hidden Forest village, so pay attention and take notes," She said as she opened the history book on the desk.

Akimistu nodded and opened his notebook, and got ready to write as Azami turned to the board and started talking and writing everything she was telling them about the village's history.

Here we go; Akimitsu and Cyndaquil started their first day at the Ninja Academy with a history lesson. In the next chapter, I will continue his first day at the Academy, along with getting to know more of his classmates.
