Kiki's pov 

"Ok then Kyo." Feeling kinda uncomfortable to say it but still feels good to hear it. While the table was being prepared, me and Kyo was busy cooking as Kyo was amazed by how well I did it. "Wow, you are actually pretty good at cooking. Who taught you how to cook this well?" "Thank you. This is because I'm the only one who can actually cook with practice ever since...ever since...after Mother died." There was shock and sadness in her eyes and my chest started to hurt, as if someone was tearing me up. Nii san paused for a moment before he moved. "Ohh I'm so sorry." "It's...ok." I had to pause for a moment before continuing, my chest was hurting so badly as if someone was squeezing and tearing my heart out. I had to hold back my tears, I have to stay strong, for Nii san. They know we're both in agony, agony of losing someone close to you, especially your family. So I had to change topic as I didn't like the mood in the atmosphere right now. As I never really liked a heavy atmosphere full of despair, pain and pity, after that thunderstorming night, the night that Mother was killed. "Anyway, enough of this. Say Kyo aren't you that really famous singer Kyoko Kagamine, who written the album Vocalists of Joy." "Yup that's me, clever girl. Now do you know why your the first real friends that my darling little children brought back from school." I nodded and that's when Nii san realised that Hiroshi san was the author of The Rising Sun. There was sparkles in our eyes and looked Len and Rin, "That's...AMAZING!!! Your parents are famous people." "But how come your surnames are different as shouldn't it be Kagamine?" They both smiled but then sighed though, "Well, that's because Yamada is a name we use to live in society without being bombarded by paparazzi. But that didn't work as well as we thought, so now you know me and Rin's real identities as we might as well change it back but...we never really got any real friends like you two unlike all the other people who wanted to meet our parents. "Which sucks for us as they never really wanted to be friends with us, but me and Len love our parents to pieces that's why we don't feel as lonely." "Of course not dear, help yourself and ohh I really want to taste your cooking." "YAY!!" Nii san couldn't help but to laugh and the duo looked excited for the dish as well as Hiro. I started straight away and Kyo was shocked by how fast I can prepare and cook as well as anyone else except for Nii san as he was surprised by it long ago. My sensei Yukihira Sōma was the one who taught me as well as practice on my own. When dinner was ready I showed the dish that I had made. "TADA!! I call this dish the Spring of Joy as it's really colourful and healthy. Mixed with vegetables and meat." "WOOW! Itadakmasu!" As they all tried it the Yamadas err...Kagamine family members all had sparkles in their eyes as Nii san smirked. "Oohhh..IT'S...SO TASTY!?!" "Your right honey it does taste delicious." Nii san still had his smirk on his face, "Guess your hard work with Sensei Yukihira paid off huh." I only nodded while Rin and Len just kept eating the dish. "Hey! Save some for us!" Nii san yelled jokingly and I couldn't help but to laugh as I have accomplished my objective: the objective to cheer them up.

When we finished and cleaned up cleanly. Me and Nii san waved them off a good night and thanked Kyo for a good meal. We took our time in the cool early spring air at night, since it was already 7:30. I held onto Nii san's arm as I didn't like walking at night on my own or the night itself. After remembering a horrible experience back in Izumo and China, I clung onto his arm tighter. Nii san noticed and knows, the reason why I clinged on his arm so tight, he sang very softly which very much surprised me but then I recognise that song. The song which Mother sang to me and Nii san when we get really scared but that was nearly over ten years ago. However, it was slightly different:

The beautiful song was over and we were already home, I let go of Nii san's arm and ran to the door. With a bright smile on my face turning around with eyes closed simply saying, "Thank you, Nii san." Calmly and lovingly he hugged me which calmed me right down. "Any5ing for you Kiki."
