"Ruby!" Said Weiss, Ruby and Weiss are currently riding a Nevermore, "I told you this was a terrible idea!" Said Weiss, "We're fine! Stop worrying!" Reassured Ruby, "I am so far beyond worrying!" Said Weiss, "In a good way!?" Asked Ruby, "In a bad way! In a very bad way!" Said Weiss, "Well, why don't we just jump!?" Suggested Ruby, "What are you, insane?!" Said Weiss, only to notice Ruby has jumped off the Nevermore, "Oh, you insufferable little-" Weiss said.

"Blake, did you hear that? What should we d-" Yang asked, Blake simply pointed up, Yang looked up and saw Ruby falling from the sky, "Heads up!" Warned Ruby, only to be struck and taken away by a flying Jaune, both of them landed on tree's large branch in a daze state, "What was that?" Asked Ruby, small cartoon-ish beowolves and stars floating around her head, she shook her head and look towards Jaune, who is hanging upside down on a large branch, "Hey Ruby." Greeted Jaune.

"Did your sister just fall from the sky?" Asked Blake, "I-" Yang was saying, only to be interrupted by a Grimm growling and trees falling, an Ursa Minor is then revealed wildly swinging it's arm, only for the Ursa Minor to be blasted by a explosion on it's back, "Yeehaw!" Nora said excitedly, riding the Ursa Minor's back, the Grimm fell down on the ground dead as she fell of the Ursa Minor, "Aww. It's broken."  Nora said with sadness as she stood up, "Eeeww..." Nora said with slight disgust as she got on top of the dead Ursa Minor, Ren is then revealed from behind the dead Grimm as he seems a bit exhausted, "Nora? Please...don't ever do that again." Said Ren, he then notices that Nora left somewhere else as he searched where she run off to.

"Ooooo..." Nora expressed with amazement as she looks at the yellow chess piece, she then grabs the Queen chess piece, "I'm Queen of the castle! I'm Queen of the castle!" Singed Nora with happiness, celebrating on obtaining the Queen chess piece, "NORA!!" Yelled Ren, "Hehehe, coming Ren!" Nora said with a salute, she then jogged towards Ren, "Did that girl just ride in on a Ursa?" Asked Blake, "I-" Yang was saying, only to be interrupted again by a Grimm growling and several trees falling as it chased Pyrrha, the Deathstalker attempted to crush Pyrrha with it's claw, but Pyrrha managed to dodge the pincers.

"Jaune!" Yelled Pyrrha, "Pyrrha!" Jaune yelled back, Ruby then stood up, "Whoa!" Ruby said as she stood up, Ruby then ran, jumped of the tree's branch, and rolled on the ground. She then stood up to reunite with her sister, "Ruby?" Yang said, "Yang!" Said Ruby, they were about to hug, however, "Nora!" Nora said, Nora appeared in the middle of their hug, interrupting their sibling hug.

Meanwhile, Pyrrha is being chased by the Deathstalker, "Did she just ran away all the way here with a Deathstalker on her tail?" Asked Blake, Nora is excited, Yang looks like she's about have a outburst any minute now, and Ruby is looking around.

"HYEAH! HYAH! HYEAH! HYAH! HYEAH!" An male voice yelled, four beowolves fell from the sky dead with several of their limbs missing as the last one landed next Ruby, which is barely alive and lucky to only have deep gashes and it's limbs intact, the beowolf slowly got up from the ground, only for the beowolf to be killed by a downward stab from (Y/N), he then pulls the short sword upwards and sheathes the weapon.

"Did he just killed multiple beowolves on his own? Actually, that's the most normal thing we've seen." Said Blake, Yang, with anger flowing inside her, finally bursts out, "Grrrr! I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?" Yang said as she created a small explosion and her lilac eyes turned red, the sound of a clock is then heard ticking as Yang's eyes turned back to it's lilac eye color and Ren joins the group as he pants. 

Two seconds passed as a 'ding' is heard and Ruby pokes Yang, "Um...Yang?" Ruby said as Blake and her look towards the sky, Ruby points upwards as Yang slouches.

Weiss is then seen grabbing the Nevermore's claw, "How could you leave me!?" Weiss yelled, "I said 'jump'..." Said Ruby as now Yang, Nora using her hands as binoculars, (Y/N), and Ren are looking up towards Weiss, "She's gonna fall." Blake stated, "She'll be fine." Reassured Ruby, "She's falling." Informed Ren, "She's probably gonna die." Said (Y/N).

Jaune, now standing on the branch, sees Weiss falling and an opportunity to impress Weiss, he then jumps towards Weiss and grabs her in a bridal style as they, somehow, stopped falling and float in the air, "Just dropping in?" Asked Jaune as he smiled, Weiss only looked downwards and back to Jaune as he did the same, "Oh God..." Jaune said as he realized they're about to fall back to the ground, they then hugged each other for dear life as they fell, "Nooooo!" Jaune yelled, he first landed on his stomach alive and Weiss landed on his back as they both, somehow, survived.

"My hero." Weiss said sarcastically, "My back." Jaune said in pain, meanwhile, Pyrrha is being chased by the Deathstalker. Soon enough, Pyrrha joins the group by landing on the ground on her stomach, "Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!" Said Yang, "Not if I can help it!" Said Ruby, she then charged, "Ruby, wait!" Yang said, Ruby took out Crescent Rose and fired Crescent Rose as she used the recoil of the weapon to charge faster.

As Ruby got close to the Deathstalker, the Grimm simply smacked her with it's pincers as Ruby was pushed back towards the ground, "D-Do-Don't worry! Totally fine!" Reassured Ruby as she stood up from the ground, she then fired Crescent Rose towards the Deathstalker, however, the bullet was ineffective towards the armored Grimm, she decided to run away from the Deathstalker as the Grimm chased her, "RUBY!" Yelled Yang as she ran towards Ruby to save her, the Nevermore then chased after Ruby as the flying Grimm flaps it's wings and releasing a line of sharpened feathers, missing Ruby except her cape, ultimately pinning her to the ground as she now is attempting to pull off the feather and the projectiles stopped Yang in her tracks.

"Ruby, get out of there!" Yang yelled worried, "I'm trying!" Ruby yelled as she struggles to pull of the large feather. The Deathstalker walks towards the helpless girl as it raised it's tail, it's golden stinger shining, the Deathstalker then thrusts the golden stinger towards Ruby.

"RUBY!" Yang yelled as someone passed her in a blur, ice then formed in front of the golden stinger, stopping the stinger as it saved Ruby from being stab by a overgrown scorpion.

"You are so childish." Weiss said, her glyph around her as she has her rapier stab in the grassy ground, "Weiss?" Ruby said.

"And dimwitted, and hyperactive. And don't even get me started on your fighting style. And I suppose, I can be a bit...difficult. But if we're going to do this, we're going to have to do this together. So if you quit trying to show off, I'll be...nicer." Weiss said.

 "I'm not trying to show off . I want you to know I can do this." Ruby explained, "You're fine." Weiss said, walking back to the group.

Ruby sighed, "Normal knees." Ruby whispered.

"Edna was right, capes are hazardous." (Y/N) mumbled to himself.

Ruby then looked behind the icy wall and gasped, "Whoa!" Ruby said as she sees the Deathstalker growling.

Yang arrives and hugs Ruby, "So happy you're okay!" Yang said relieved, they're then interrupted by the Nevermore cawing in the sky.

"Guys, that thing is circling back. What are we gonna do?" Jaune asked worried as he pointed at the Nevermore flying, "Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying Our objective is right in front of us." Weiss said as (Y/N) grabbed the dice and is now looking at a lit torch, a stick on the ground, and an unlit torch.

"She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs." Explained Ruby as (Y/N) is now holding the stick. "There's no point in fighting these things." Ruby said as the stick (Y/N) is holding is now lit on fire from the lit torch.

"Run and live. That is an idea I can get behind." Jaune said, they began to collect their chess pieces as (Y/N) used the stick on fire to lit the unlit torch, causing a trapdoor to open up as a chest appeared.

(Y/N) walked towards the chest and opened it, revealing a golden light coming from inside of the chest as (Y/N) looks at it in awe, he picks up the item then holds the said item in the air, revealing it's a boomerang. Meanwhile, the Deathstalker growls as it pulls it's tail, cracking the ice.

"It's time to leave." Ren said, seeing the ice crack, "Right. Let's go!" Ruby said, they proceeded run as Yang stands as she's proud of Ruby.

"What is it?" Asked Blake, "Nothing..." Said Yang as she then began to run, followed by Blake.

They soon arrived in a place in ruins as each of them take cover on the walls to hide from the Nevermore that has chased them. The Nevermore then lands on top of a tower in the distance, trying to find the escaping huntsman and huntresses in training. The flying Grimm then screeches.

"Well that's great!" Yang said, the Deathstalker then appears as it broke trees in it's way, giving them more trouble. "Oh, man, run!" Jaune yelled, Jaune and Pyrrha run out from their hiding spots as the Nevermore screeches.

"Nora, distract it!" Ren said as they both revealed themselves to the Nevermore.

The flying Grimm flapped it's wings and released a hail of sharpened feathers, Nora dodges the sharpened and takes out her weapon, Magnhild, in it's grenade launcher form. Magnhild then fires what seems to be canisters of pink Dust with a heart shape on the tip, the explosive canister struck the Nevermore's head as it produced a pink blast traced through with what appears to be an electricity.

The Nevermore flees as the bombs are exploded in the air and Ruby, Yang, Juane, and Pyrrha ran towards the a bridge. Unknown to Nora, the Deathstalker sneaks behind her to attack her, only for Blake and Ren to attack the Deathstalker as it temporarily stunned the overgrown scorpion. Weiss then landed next to Nora, grabbed her, and used her glyph to jump away while Ren and Blake are forced run as the Deathstalker chased them.

"Go, go!" Pyrrha said as she turned Miló in it's rifle form and begins to shoot at the Deathstalker, followed by Ren, who took out StormFlower. They both turned tail as soon as Blake reached the bridge and the Deathstalker is unable to chase them on the bridge due to it's massive size.

The Nevermore, seeing them escape, flew towards the bridge and ram the said bridge, forcing the huntsman and huntresses in training to split. Ruby, Jaune, Nora, Yang, and Weiss on one side while Blake, Ren, (Y/N), and Pyrrha on other side with the Deathstalker as they're fighting the said Deathstalker.

The Deathstalker smack Blake and (Y/N) with it's pincers, throwing them on the ground as Ren charged towards the Deathstalker.

"Man, we gotta get over there! They need help!" Jaune said worried, "Let's do this!" Nora said, Magnhild in her hand.

"Yeah, but, uh...I can't make that jump." Jaune said, looking down at the bottomless pit. Nora only grinned as she transformed Magnhild into it's war hammer form, "Whoa!" Jaune said surprised as he was hit by Magnhild and landed on his back.

Nora then ran towards the edge of the broken bridge and jumped as she has Magnhild up in the air, "No, wait!" Jaune said, realizing he's about to be launched, Nora then descended down as she swung Magnhild downwards, hitting the broken bridge as it created a pink explosion and launching Jaune over the large gap.

"No, no, no, no!" Jaune yelled in mid air, "Wheee!" Nora said as she fired Magnhild in it's war hammer form and using the recoil to propel herself over the large gap and towards the Deathstalker.

"Ah, smash!" Nora yelled as she swung Magnhild downwards on the Deathstalker, the Grimm hissed in pain and used it's stinger to stab Nora, only for Nora to fire Magnhild and used the recoil to propel herself backwards, dodging the stinger and pushing Blake off the bridge in the process.

"Ah!" Blake yelped, falling towards the abyss. She then grappled onto a stone wall and swung under a bridge. The grapple released the stone wall as Blake leaped towards the Nevermore's head and slashed the flying Grimm across it's body as all the attacks are ineffective. She then leaped across abyss and landed next Yang.

"It's tougher than it looks!" Blake informed, "Then let's hit it with everything we've got!" Yang said, readying her gauntlets, followed by Blake, Ruby, and Weiss as the Nevermore screeches and flies towards the four girls.

They soon gave everything they got whether it be Dust or bullets as the Nevermore took the hits, making their attacks seem futile. The Nevermore ram the structure RWBY were residing in as the structure broke into debris, making RWBY fall into the abyss. Only for RWBY to use the debris to reach back to land as they were separated while Ruby and Weiss stay together.

"None of this is working!" Weiss said, Ruby seeing Blake grapple then Yang firing explosive shells towards the Nevermore as she comes up with a plan, "I have a plan! Cover me!" Ruby informed Weiss as she fired Crescent Rose and used the recoil to propel herself.

Meanwhile, JNPR and (Y/N) are still with the Deathstalker as the said Deathstalker is blocking their way.

"We gotta move!" Jaune said as they all ran towards the Grimm, the Deathstalker thrusts it's pincers towards Pyrrha, however, Pyrrha slides under the pincer and uses her shield, Akoúo̱, to block the pincer and slashes the Deathstalker across it's pincer with Miló in it's javelin form. The Grimm retaliated by using it's other pincer to attack the vulnerable Pyrrha. Only for Jaune to use his shield to block the attack and Pyrrha jumped over Jaune and struck the pincer.

Ren charged towards the Deathstalker as he fired StormFlower. The Deathstalker retaliated by thrusting it's stinger towards Ren, however, he sidestepped and grabbed the stinger. The overgrown scorpion pulled it's stinger as he took Ren. Ren, holding onto the stinger, fired StormFlower downwards to the Deathstalker as Nora crouched and transformed Magnhild into it's grenade launcher form.

Nora then repeatedly pressed the trigger as Magnhild fired canisters of pink dust towards the Deathstalker as it covered it's self with it's pincers, blocking the bombs fired from Magnhild and making Pyrhha and Jaune slide back across the stone floor as Jaune fell down on his back and Pyrrha throws Miló towards the Deathstalker. Miló then strikes the Deathstalker's eye as it shrieks in pain and throws Ren towards a stone wall.

"REN!" Nora yelled worried as she sees Ren hit the stone wall. Jaune sees the stinger swaying left and right as he comes up with a plan, "Pyrrha!" Jaune said, "Done!" Pyrrha said, throwing Akoúo̱ towards the stinger and dismembers the said stinger as it falls and pierces the Deathstalker, but was unable to fully kill the Grimm.

"Nora, nail it!" Jaune commanded, "Head's up!" Nora said, jumping on top of Pyrrha as Pyrrha put her shield above her and Nora landed on her shield. Pyrrha then jumped as Nora used it to proper herself upwards with a shot Magnhild. Gravity then took action as Nora started to fall down.

She then fires Magnhild to propel her towards the Deathstalker as she spins. Finally, Nora swings Magnhild downwards and hammered the stinger, making the stinger go deeper into the Deathstalker and launching Pyrrha and a screaming Jaune and (Y/N) as well. 

Nora fired Magnhild once again, used the recoil to jump over the Deathstalker, and landed next to Jaune and (Y/N), who both landed on their backs, as the Deathstalker fell into the abyss and Ren joined the group. He then fell on the ground due to him being worn out from the battle with the Deathstalker.

Jaune, Pyrrha, and (Y/N) stood up as they watch RWBY battle the Nevermore unfold.

Yang rapidly fires Ember Celica as one of the explosive shells strikes the Nevermore's head as it shrieks in pain. The Nevermore then flies towards Yang as it open it's beak and Yang jumps towards the flying Grimm. Yang lands inside the Nevermore's beak as she uses her left hand to keep the upper beak from closing and uses her right hand to fire her gauntlet.

"I! Hope! You're! Hung-ry!" Yang yelled as she kept firing explosive shells inside the Nevermore's mouth, she then jumped off and landed on a structure in a crouching position, feet wide apart and with one hand on the floor while the other hand is outstretched away from her body, pointing diagonally upwards.

The Nevermore then crashed onto a cliff and lands on a building in ruins. The Grimm then screeches as Weiss charges towards the Nevermore as Yang sprints towards Ruby and Blake. Weiss then leaps towards the Nevermore, who is about to fly, and uses Dust to freeze it's tail, stopping the Nevermore from flying.

Weiss then uses her glyph to not land on the building in ruins, jump backwards, lands on the ground, and sprints back to Ruby, Yang, and Blake. Blake then throws her weapon to another pillar as Yang grabs it and stabs the said weapon into the pillar, making the ribbon connected across two pillars. Like a slingshot.

Ruby fired Crescent Rose and used the recoil to propel herself towards the ribbon. She then landed on the ribbon as Crescent Rose is upside down and Weiss created a black glyph behind her. 

"Of course you would come up with this idea." Weiss said, "Think you can make the shot?" Ruby asked, "Hmph. Can I?" Weiss said, only to confuse Ruby, "Can-?" Ruby said, "Of course I can!" Weiss said.

The glyph suddenly turns red and Ruby is then launched towards the Nevermore as she repeatedly fires Crescent Rose. Ruby collided with the beast with her scythe and glyphs appear on the cliff Ruby had landed on as more appear going upwards. She then used the glyphs to run up the cliff to the top as she constantly fires Crescent Rose until she used up the momentum she built up going up the wall, decapitate the Nevermore, and land safely. The dead body then slowly falls as the rest watch with amazement.

"Wow." Jaune said with amazement as he looks the decapitated Nevermore falling, "I didn't got to do anything cool." (Y/N) mumbled with disappointment as he kicks off a small rock into the abyss.

"Well. That was a thing." Yang said as she looks at Weiss.

"Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark. The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...Team CRDL. Lead by...Cardin Winchester." Ozpin said as the crowd gave a round of applause.

"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...Team JNPR." Ozpin said as Nora hugged Ren, "Lead by...Jaune Arc!" Ozpin said.

"Huh? L-Lead by...?" Jaune said baffled, "Congratulations, young man." Congratulated Ozpin.

"Whoa! Oof!" Jaune said, surprised from the sudden light punch from Pyrrha as the crowd laughed.

"Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...Team RWBY. Lead by...Ruby Rose." Ozpin said as the crowd started to clap.

"I'm so proud of you!" Yang said as she hugged Ruby.

"Finally, (Y/N) (L/N). Due to a uneven number, you're unable to be on a team and join Beacon Academy." Ozpin said as everybody gasped except Ozpin and CRDL, who snickered to (Y/N)'s misfortune.

"But...I'm willing to make an exception." Ozpin said, (Y/N) now hoping to be on Beacon Academy.

"The dice that you've collected will decide your team. If the dice rolls one or two, Team JNPR will be your team. If it rolls three or four, Team RWBY will be your team. If it rolls five or six, Team CRDL will be your team, however, you'll be unable to take part of the Vytal Festival or other related events. Do you accept these terms?" Ozpin explained, handing the dice to (Y/N).

"I accept." (Y/N) said smiling while CRDL grin as they plan to make (Y/N) the hard work if he's on their team.

(Y/N) lightly throws the dice upwards as the dice spins. Gravity took action once again and pulls the dice back on the ground as it bounces showing numerous number. It then stops bouncing, showing number four.

"It's decided. From this day forward, you will work together as... Team RWBY and (Y/N) (L/N)." Ozpin said, 'The team name didn't change much.' (Y/N) thought as the crowd gave a round of applause and some whistled.

"Yay! A new teammate!" Ruby said excited, suddenly appearing next to (Y/N), surprising him. "Welcome to the team, buddy!" Yang said with a grin as she headlocks (Y/N) and rubs her knuckles on top of (Y/N)'s head.

Blake simply gave a thumbs up and Weiss didn't cared much.

"Looks like things are shaping up to be an...interesting year." Ozpin said as he watches (Y/N) being noogie by Yang.

The scene is changed to Roman Torchwick, who is looking at a map of Vale. He then smokes a cigarette. A White Fang grunt walks behind Roman with a cart that has a briefcase. Roman then pays the grunt with lien.

"Open it." Roman commanded, the grunt then opens the briefcase with a crowbar, showing crystallized Dust with different colors. "We're gonna need more men." Roman said, the map behind him showing the map of Vale with coordinated X's as the lower left said 'DUMB COPS'.

(Sorry for the late update. I wanted this chapter to be long and my laziness got the better of me.)

(Also, as I was writing this chapter halfway, I decided to write the characters' dialogue in like a sentence instead of being a paragraph since it makes it a bit more readable.)
