-------------------------

"What were you thinking!?" Glynda yelled, scolding at (Y/N), who has a blank expression.

After the whole ordeal with Cardin, (Y/N) was sent to Glynda's office. (Y/N), now sitting on a chair as Glynda sits on her office chair and her office desk stands between them, is now being obviously scolded by Glynda.

"It's one thing to pick a fight, but to shatter someone's aura and quite possibly breaking their bones is another thing!" Glynda yelled.

"I did what any huntsman and huntress would do. Help those who are in need of help. At least, those who are a true huntsman and huntress." (Y/N) said as he fully knows not everybody are a fan of faunus, Glynda could only sigh.

"I understand that you would help Ms.Scarlatina and after interrogating witnesses and Ms.Scarlatina...I decided to let you off the hook." Glynda said in a calm voice, (Y/N) gained a hopeful smile.

"But! If you should encounter a similar problem, please seek help from an adult or teacher. I don't want you to get in trouble again." Glynda said, (Y/N) nodded with a smile.

"Now go back to class, Mr.(L/N)." Glynda said, (Y/N) stood up from the chair and leaves Glynda's office.

(Y/N), with a happy expression, walks through the hallways to find his class. Finally found his class, he enters the class as he notices he interrupted said class as the students and Professor Oobleck, or as he likes to call himself 'Doctor Oobleck', looks at him.

"Sorry I'm late." (Y/N) said with a sheepish smile.

"That is fine! Just take a seat, so we can continue our lesson." Dr.Oobleck said as he speaks rapidly.

(Y/N) looks for a empty seat in the classroom as he notices some familiar faces. He spots one empty seat next to a sleeping Jaune as he walks to the empty seat. (Y/N) now sitting on a seat, Dr.Oobleck continues his lesson with a mug on his hand that is filled with, seemingly, coffee.

"Where was I? Ah! Yes! Yes, prior to the Faunus Rights Revolution, more popularly known as the Faunus War, humankind was quite, quite adamant about centralizing Faunus population in Menagerie." Dr.Oobleck said as he speeds around the classroom in a blur.

Dr.Oobleck suddenly stops and takes a sip from his mug.

"Now! While this must feel like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively recent events! Why the repercussions of the uprising can still be seen to this day!" Dr.Oobleck explains why history is important as he speeds around the classroom in a blur.

Dr.Oobleck suddenly stops again and takes a sip from his mug.

"Now! Have any among you been subjugated or discriminated because of your Faunus heritage?" Dr.Oobleck asked.

One faunus raised their hands as Velvet reluctantly raises her hand.

"Dreadful, simply dreadful! Remember, students, it is this kind of ignorance that breeds violence!" Dr.Oobleck said, he then takes a sip from his mug.

"I mean, I mean, I mean just look at what happened to White Fang! Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorists believe to be the turning point in the third year of the war?" Dr.Oobleck said as he keeps speeding around the classroom in a blur.

Weiss raises her hand.

"Yes?" Dr.Oobleck said, immediately responding to Weiss'.

"The battle of Fort Castle!" Weiss said with confident.

"Precisely! And, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus has over General Lagune's forces?" Dr.Ooleck said.

Cardin flicks a small paper triangle. Said small paper triangle hits Jaune on the head and wakes him up.

"Hey!" Jaune said, tad bit annoyed from being woken up.

"Mr.Arc!" Dr.Oobleck said as he gets in front of Jaune.

"Finally contributing to class! This is excellent! Excellent! What is the answer?" Dr.Oobleck said to the confused Jaune.

"Uhhhh...The answer..." Jaune said as he looks around.

"The advantage...of the Faunus...had over that guy's stuff." Jaune said as he sees Pyrrha pointing her eyes and then cupped her hands over her eyes, making the gesture known as Binoculars.

"Um, B-Binoculars!" Jaune said as the students laugh at him, especially Cardin as he bangs on the desk with his fists.

Pyrrha facepalms and (Y/N) holds his laughter while Dr.Oobleck only took a sip from his mug and then dashes back to his desk in a blur.

"Very funny, Mr.Arc." Dr.Oobleck said, not amused.

"Cardin! Perhaps you would care to share your thoughts on the subject!" Dr.Oobleck said.

"Well, I know it's a lot easier to train an animal than a soldier." Cardin said as he's leaning back with his leg on the desk.

"You're not the most open minded individuals, are you, Cardin?" Pyrrha said.

"What? You got a problem?" Cardin said aggressively.

"No, I have the answer! It's night vision. Many Faunus are known to have nearly-perfect sight in the dark." Pyrrha said as Cardin growls in anger.

"General Lagune was inexperienced and made the mistake of trying to ambush the Faunus in their sleep. His massive army was outmatched, and the General was captured." Blake said, explaining General Lagune's failure.

"Perhaps if he'd paid attention in class, he wouldn't have been remembered as such a failure." Blake said as he smirks towards Cardin.

The students 'ooo' while (Y/N) laughs, Cardin stands up with a fist as he growls angrily and glares at Blake.

"Mr.Winchester! Please take your seat." Dr.Oobleck said as he notices Jaune snickering.

Dr.Oobleck dashes towards Jaune and stops in front of his desk in a blur.

"You and Mr.Arc can both see me after class for additional readings." Dr.Oobleck said, stopping Jaune from snickering.

"Ooh." Jaune said with sadness as he looks down.

Dr.Oobleck dashes back to his desk in a blur.

"Now! Moving on!" Dr.Oobleck said, continuing his lesson.

----------------------

----------------------

Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha are seen walking out of the classroom.

"You guys go on ahead. I'll wait for Jaune." Pyrrha said.

Back in the classroom, Dr.Oobleck takes a sip from his mug as Jaune and Cardin are on their seats.

"You two have been struggling in my class since day one! Now, I don't know if it's a lack of interest or just your stubborn nature, but whatever it is." Dr.Oobleck said, he then takes a sip from his mug.

He then sets the mug on his desk as it makes a clang sound.

"It stops now! You've worked hard to gain entrance to this school, and we only accept the of the best, So! I expect you to act like it. History is important, gentlemen! If you can't learn from it...you are destined to repeat it." Dr.Oobleck said.

"Pages 51 to 91! I want an essay on my desk by next class! Now! Run along." Dr.Oobleck said, he then dashes out of the classroom in a blur.

Pyrrha, waiting outside the classroom, sees Dr.Oobleck leave the classroom in a blur. Jaune and Cardin leave the classroom as Cardin shoves Jaune out of the way, which Pyrrha witnessed.

"OOHF! OW!" Jaune yelps as he's shoved towards the ground.

"Heh." Cardin slightly laughed in amusement.

Pyrrha then walks towards the fallen Jaune and helps him up.

"You know, I will really break his legs." Pyrrha said, angry that Jaune is being bullied by Cardin

Jaune sighs.

"I have an idea! Here, come with me!" Pyrrha said, dragging Jaune somewhere else.

"AAUHA!" Jaune yelps as he's being dragged by Pyrrha.

Pyrrha and Jaune, who isn't dragged by Pyrrha, have walked to a roof as the crickets chirp and fail to notice (Y/N) in the corner, who is eating a sandwich. They soon stopped at the edge of the roof as they gaze at the night sky.

"Pyrrha, I know that I'm going through a hard time right now, but I'm not...THAT depressed." Jaune said as he looks over the edge of the roof.

(Y/N) simply choked on his sandwich in response and lightly punched his chest as this goes unnoticed to Pyrrha and Jaune.

"I can always be a farmer or something..." Jaune said as he looks over the edge of the roof.

Pyrrha looks over the edge of the roof and connected the dots as to why Jaune said about being depressed while (Y/N) stops choking on his sandwich and swallows the sandwich.

"N-No!" Pyrrha said as she shoves Jaune away from the edge of the roof.

"That's not why I brought you up here! Jaune, I know you're having a difficult time in class, and that you're still not the strongest of fighters, so..." Pyrrha said.

She then takes a sharp breathe.

"I want to help you!" Pyrrha said, offering help to Jaune.

"W-What?" Jaune said.

"We can train up here after class where no one can bother us!" Pyrrha suggested.

"You think I need help?" Jaune asked.

"N-no! No, That's not what I meant." Pyrrha said.

"But you just said it." Jaune said.

"Jaune, everyone needs a little push from time to time. It doesn't make you any different from the rest of us. You made it to Beacon, that speaks volume of what you're capable of!" Pyrrha said, praising Jaune.

"You're wrong..." Jaune said as he turns around.

Jaune sighs, "I-I don't belong here." Jaune said.

"That's a terrible thing to say, of course you do!" Pyrrha said.

"No, I don't!" Jaune snapped.

Jaune sighs, "I wasn't really accepted into Beacon." Jaune said as this got the attention of (Y/N).

"Guys." (Y/N) said as they failed to notice him again.

'Am I just a background character?' (Y/N) thought as he sees Pyrrha and Jaune ignoring him.

"Wh-What do you mean?" Pyrrha asked, worried that Jaune may have somehow cheat to get in Beacon.

"I mean, I didn't go to Combat School! I didn't pass any tests! I didn't earn my spot at this Academy! I lied! I got my hands on some fake transcripts and I lied." Jaune said, confessing about his fake transcripts.

"What? But, why?" Pyrrha asked.

"'Cause, this is what I've always wanted to be! My father, my Grandfather, and his father before him were all warriors! They were all heroes! I wanted to be one too. I was just never good enough." Jaune said, explaining his reason to why he lied and used fake transcripts.

"Then let me help you." Pyrrha said, offering help as she lightly grabbed his shoulder.

"I don't want help!" Jaune said as he quickly turned towards Pyrrha as Pyrrha pulled her hand back.

"I don't want to be the damsel in distress! I want to be the hero!" Jaune yelled.

"Jaune, I-" Pyrrha was then cut off by Jaune.

"I'm tired of being the lovable idiot, stuck in a tree while his friends fight for their lives! Don't you understand!?" Jaune yelled.

"If I can't do this on my own...Then what good am I?" Jaune said.

Pyrrha attempted to hug Jaune to comfort him, only for Jaune to step back.

"Just, leave me alone. Okay?" Jaune said.

"If that's what you think is best." Pyrrha said as she turned around to leave.

She then finally noticed (Y/N), who has finished eating his sandwich.

"(Y/N)? How long have you been there? And why are you here?" Pyrrha asked.

"Long enough to hear about the fake transcripts and Jaune being depressed. Also, midnight snack." (Y/N) said.

"It's 10 PM." Pyrrha said.

"And I'm not THAT depressed!" Jaune said.

"Still a midnight snack for me. Anyway, Jaune, I would recommend to take Pyrrha's offer. Just because you faked your transcripts and lied your way into this Academy, doesn't mean you can't become the hero you want to be." (Y/N) said.

(Y/N) suddenly put his hand behind him and seemingly took out a lunch box out of thin air. He then opened the lunch box, revealing sliced sandwiches.

"Sandwich?" (Y/N) said, offering sliced sandwiches to Pyrrha and Jaune.

"No thanks." Pyrrha and Jaune said.

"Your loss." (Y/N) said.

He then took a bite of a sliced sandwich.

"Even great warriors before us had help, and we are no exception. How do you think we got into Beacon? What I'm trying to say is, you can't do this alone. Everybody needs help from time to time. It's your call." (Y/N) said with his mouth full.

He then swallows the piece of the sandwich in his mouth.

"Let's go, Pyrrha. I'm sure he needs some time alone." (Y/N) said, leaving Jaune alone, followed by Pyrrha.

"This sandwich is sooo good! You sure you don't want one, Pyrrha?" (Y/N) said as Jaune hears him in the distance.

"I'm good." Pyrrha said, rejecting (Y/N)'s offer.

Their footsteps then fade away as Jaune is left alone on the roof. But, fate has other plans.

Cardin appeared from the edge of the roof by somehow climbing from his dorm to the roof.

"Oh, Jaune." Cardin said as he startled Jaune.

"Cardin!?" Jaune said.

"I couldn't help, but overhear you three from my dorm room. So, you snuck into Beacon, huh? I've got to say Jaune, I've never expected you to be such a rebel." Cardin said.

"Please! Cardin, please, don't tell anyone!" Jaune begged.

" Jaune! Come on! I'd never rat out a friend like that!" Cardin said as he headlocks Jaune.

"Uh, friend?" Jaune said, confused.

"Of course! We're friends now, Jauney boy! And the way I see it, as long as you're there for me when I need you, we'll be friends for a long time." Cardin said as Jaune has a hard time to breathe from being headlock.

Cardin then releases Jaune as Jaune falls to the ground and gasps for air.

"That being said...I really don't have the time to do those extra readings Dr.Oobleck gave us today." Cardin said as Jaune lays on the floor.

"Think you could take care of that for me, Buddy?" Cardin said as he ruffles Jaune's hair.

Cardin then stops ruffling Jaune's hair.

"That's what I thought. Don't worry Jaune; your secret's safe with me." Cardin said, he then climbs back to his dorm.

Jaune is then left alone once again on the roof to think about his life choices.
