Tarrlok: "Although the hundred year war has long passed, we are not living in a time of peace. These revolutionaries who call themselves "Equalists" are not interested in equality at all. They just wage war against benders. Chief Beifong was supposed to protect Republic City, but she was powerless to stop Amon's attack on the arena. She has failed us all. If we are to survive these dire times, our law enforcement needs new leadership." He said to the crowd of reporters

Next Day at the Pro bending Arena

Police taped off the building while inside Bolin, Mako and Y/n were packing up their stuff in their once attic apartment.

Mako: "I still can't believe they're shutting this place down." He said as Bolin folded up his shirts.

Bolin: "Yeah, we had some good memories here, didn't we?" He asked as Y/n laughed softly.

Y/n: "If you count the large meals I had to cook for you, mister bottomless pit of a stomach." She joked as Korro entered the apartment excitedly.

Korro: "Guys, great news. You don't have to go back onto the streets. I talk to Tenzin and made all the arrangements. You can come live on Air Temple Island with me." He said smiling as Y/n looked over at Korro nervously.

Y/n: "Oh... Well, We'd love to, but--" She said nervously til Bolin spoke up for her.

Bolin: "Asamir already invited us to live in his dad's giant mansion! From here on out. It's gonna be the lap of luxury for us." He said hugging Mako and Y/n until Y/n smacked him upside the head when she saw Korro's saddened face.

Asamir: "Oh, hey, Korro." He said as Pabu was resting on his shoulders and he was carrying a box of Y/n's clothes for her from her once elevated bedroom. "I was hoping you'd stop by." He said honestly before walking towards the four.

Korro: "I was just leaving. So, I guess I'll see you guys around... sometime." He said walking off til Asamir stopped him.

Asamir: "Why not tomorrow? I'd love to have you come visit the estate." He said as Y/n walked towards the two young men.

Korro: "I don't know. I have some...Avatar stuff to do." He said shrugging towards Asamir til he noticed Y/n was at his side.

Y/n: "Come on, Korro it will be fun. We can swim in Asamir's pool, hangout together and talk, get some rest and relaxation. Please...." She said before giving Korro big polar bear puppy eyes as Bolin did a cute voice for Pabu which made Korro give in to both.

Korro: Groans softly in defeat before smiling. "Okay, okay, I will. I promise." He said towards Y/n before he began walking downstairs the stairs.

Asamir: "Great, we'll see you tomorrow." He said while everyone waved Korro off.

Meanwhile at an Abandoned Warehouse then At Cabbage Corp before back at the Police Station

Republic City's police busted into a warehouse finding Equalists items from posters, electronic hands, everything an Equalist could need in the revelation.

Lin: "Looks like our intel was good." She said as a random officer told her.

Officer: "There's enough evidence here to bury Cabbage Corp for an eternity." He said as the police headed to the Cabbage Corp as reporters swarmed the building to ask questions and the take photos of Cabbage Corp's Ceo being taken away.

Lin: "The evidence points in that direction, but the investigation is ongoing. For the time being, we have frozen Mr. Gan-Lan's assets and are closing Cabbage Corp." She said

Korro walked into the police station to talk to Lin before a voice spoke up to him.

Tahno: "Hey, Korro." He said honestly looking worse for wear since he had last saw another.

Korro: "Tahno?" He asked as Tahno nodded to despair while he sat down next to Tahno on the bench. "Listen, I know we're not exactly best friends, but I'm sorry Amon took your bending." He said honestly as Tahno sighed.

Tahno: "I've been to the best healers in the city, even Y/n tried to heal me again. Whatever Amon did to me, it's permanent. You gotta get him for me." He said seriously towards Korro whom nodded.

Lin: "Mr. Sato, if you remember anything else about what you saw during Amon's attack, be sure to let us know." She asked while she and Tenzin escorted Hiroshi Sato out in front of Korro and Tahno.

Hiroshi: "I'm happy to help anyway I can. I want these Equalists to pay for what they've done." He said seriously before walking away as Tenzin looked over at Tahno.

Tenzin: "We're ready for you now." He said while walking away with Lin as Tahno stood up from the bench.

Tahno: "See you around, Uh-vatar. And tell Y/n I said thanks again." He said honestly before walking after Tenzin and Lin.

At the Sato Family Mansion the Next Day

Korro was escorted into the mansion by the family's butler to the pool as Pabu and Bolin jumped into the water, Mako was swimming around while Y/n had her feet in the water with Asamir by her side leaning in the water.

Butler: "Avatar Korro has arrived." He said as everyone looked over at them.

Mako: "Hey, Korro." He said smiling at his friend.

Asamir: "Glad you made it." He said smiling as Y/n kissed his cheek before walking over towards Korro in her bathing suit.

Bolin: "Welcome to paradise." He said floating back onto the water

Y/n: "Korro, I'm so glad you came." She said honestly before hugging her friend as she sat down on a lounge chair asking the butler for some watermelon juice kindly.

Korro: "Looks like you guys settled right in." He said honestly before sitting down by Y/n while Mako and Asamir swam towards the two.

Mako: "Pretty much. Except someone forgot to ask his father if we could stay here." He said seriously looking over at Asamir.

Asamir: Yeah, but I smoothed it over with him. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission besides I wasn't about to let my girlfriend and her family live out on the street." He said honestly as Y/n blushed slightly at his words.

Y/n: "A girl that you spoil constantly, even though I told me that I don't need a lot of stuff, Asamir." She said before blowing him a kiss once he got towards her and Korro as she jumped into the water to push down Mako and Bolin under water as she laughed.

Korro: "So, what do you have planned for us today? Let me guess, shopping, going to restaurants, makeovers..." He said shuddering as Bolin pushed Mako and Y/n down into the water.

Bolin: "Ooh, ooh, I vote makeovers." He said before yelping as Mako and Y/n pushed him back under the water roughhousing around while Asamir got out of the pool.

Asamir: "I have something a little more exciting in mind." He said towards Korro while smirking as they all headed to a race track for Sato-Mobiles. "Pretty cool, huh?" He asked Korro.

Korro: "Way cooler than anything I've ever seen." He said honestly before looking over at Asamir.

Asamir: "This is where Future Industries test drives their Sato-mobiles. Ever been behind the wheel?" He asked Korro making Y/n laugh uncontrollably as Korro flushed embarrassed.

Korro: "The only thing I know how to drive is a polar bear dog. And Y/n knows that as a fact that's why she's laughing at me." He said honestly as Y/n smiled sweetly at him.

Asamir: "You want me to take you for a spin?" He asked Korro whom smiled widely at him nodding.

Korro: "Let's do it!" He said as the two put on helmets and goggles as they headed onto the track once in the mobile they put on their double seat belts before racing off down the track and raced against another driver but Asamir won in the end.

Korro: "That was amazing!" He shouted while jumping out of the back seat of the car as Asamir took off his own helmet from his head. "I didn't think we'd make it." He said as Asamir smirked.

Asamir: "Well you can't be afraid to mix it up sometimes." He said honestly before running his gloved hands through his helmet hair to fix it.

Korro: "I gotta admit, I had you pegged wrong." He said truthfully while he took off his own helmet before holding it against his hip. "I thought you were kinda snobby. Uh, no offense." He said seriously.

Asamir: Chuckles as he leaned against the car looking at Korro. "It's all right. People usually assume that I'm Dad's helpless son, but I can handle myself." He said towards Korro before standing up straight. "I mean, I've been in self-defense classes since I was this high." He said as he motioned his hand near his knee to mean he was defending himself since he was a child. "My old Dad made sure I would always be able to protect myself." He said honestly

Korro: "Smart guy." He said as they walked back towards Mako, Bolin and Y/n then back up to the mansion.

Bolin: "Emergency! Emergency, coming through! Beep, beep!" He yelled out as he ran off to the closest bathroom as Y/n laughed at her brother whimpering.

Korro: "Uh, is there another bathroom I can use?" He asked Asamir whom nodded nudging his head upstairs.

Asamir: "We've got another men's parlor upstairs by the Ladies powder room." He said as Y/n walked up towards Korro.

Y/n: "Come on, Korro. I'll show you cause I got to freshen up as well." She said honestly before grabbing onto Korro's arm but not until she kissed Asamir on the cheek then the two headed upstairs. After washing her hands and drying them off, Y/n lightly powdered her cheeks then left the bathroom while Korro walked out of the men's bathroom until they both heard Hiroshi talking. "It's his business, let's go Korro." She said seriously until their ears perked up at certain words.

Hiroshi: "No, no, no I assure you, everything is going exactly as planned." He said in his office as Korro pulled Y/n over towards the door of the office. "Luckily the Cabbage Corp investigation has bought us enough time. Trust me, by the end of the week, we'll be ready to strike." He said into his telephone before hanging up as Korro and Y/n looked at each other before quickly walking away passing Mako, Bolin and Asamir to the front door.

Asamir: "Your both leaving? But I thought--" He said as Y/n looked over at Korro.

Korro: "Sorry, I forgot. I'm supposed to airsit, I mean baby bend, I-I mean babysit the airbender kids. See you later." He said walking over towards the door.

Y/n: "And I promised Cheif Beifong I'd talk to her about the pro bending arena fight I had. I'll be back later, sweetie." She said honestly before kissing him lightly on the lips before following after Korro heading off to talk to Tenzin and Lin.

Early in the Night on a Random Rooftop

Korro and Y/n explained to Tenzin and Lin what they had heard Hiroshi talking about in his office while Korro thought he was actually working with the Equalists.

Tenzin: "So you think Mr. Sato manufactured those gloves for the Equalists, then framed Cabbage Corp?" He asked the two teenagers.

Lin: "That's a bold accusation. But what proof do you both have?" She questioned the two teenagers.

Y/n: "Asamir told me during one of our dates that twelve years ago his home was robbed by the Agni Kai Traid, a fire bender killed Sato's wife and Asamir's mother when he was a young boy. Hiroshi would have a strong resentment towards benders for taking the love of his life away from him, plus after what I heard, I don't feel safe in that mansion regardless of Asamir but I don't want him or my brothers to get hurt, Cheif." She said seriously as Korro told Lin.

Korro: "We know what we heard, Lin. Sato's up to something." He said seriously as Tenzin looked at the two teenagers.

Tenzin: "It's possible he's been harboring anti-bending sentiment all this time." He said as Lin nodded

Lin: "Maybe we should look at Mr. Sato a little more closely." She said before Y/n returned to the Sato mansion to watch over her brothers and Asamir.

Next Morning at the Sato Estate

Lin, Tenzin and Korro walked into the mansion as Asamir was beside Y/n, Asamir stopped Korro as he walked by them on the staircase.

Asamir: "What's going on? Why are they asking my dad more questions?" He questioned Korro.

Korro: "I overheard him on the phone yesterday. Asamir, I don't know how to tell you this, but I think your father might be involved with the Equalists." He said seriously while not letting Y/n get in trouble with him.

Asamir: "What?! I don't believe this." He said seriously offended before walking away from Korro and Y/n.

Y/n: "I hope we're doing the right thing, Korro." She whispered softly before walking after Asamir as he bragged into his father's office.

Asamir: "My father is innocent. Just because we're not benders doesn't mean we support those awful Equalists." He said seriously before standing by his father.

Hiroshi: "Equalists? Is that what this is about? I can assure you, I have nothing to do with those radicals." He said seriously as Korro, Mako, Bolin and Y/n walked into the office.

Mako: "Yeah, you don't know what you're talking about, Korro." He said towards his friend as Korro rolled his eyes.

Korro: "I overheard you on the phone. You said the Cabbage Corp investigation bought you time, and you're getting ready to strike. Explain that." He said seriously towards Hiroshi.

Hiroshi: Chuckles at Korro's words before explaining. "This is all just a misunderstanding, resulting from a young Avatar's over-active imagination. My number one competitor was knocked out of the game. It's providing me an opportunity to strike the market with a new line of Sato-mobiles. It's just business, nothing nefarious." He said honestly towards everyone in the office.

Tenzin: "In order to put all suspicions to rest, might we have a look into your factories and warehouses?" He asked Hiroshi as Asamir growled angrily at his words til his father stopped him.

Hiroshi: "If you feel it's necessary, you're welcome to search all of Future Industries." He said honestly giving the police permission to search for evidence only to find none what so ever.

Korro: "I can't believe we didn't find anything." He said as he got off Naga sighing softly as Tenzin and Lin looked at him.

Lin: "It would appear that Hiroshi is innocent." She said while Asamir and Y/n walked up to Lin, Tenzin and Korro as Asamir crossed his arms at them.

Asamir: "Okay, you did your search. Now you all can leave." He said towards Lin while Y/n looked over at Korro and signaled him to follow her.

Y/n: "It appears that we were wrong, Korro." She said quietly enough for only Korro to hear. "Hopefully this convinces my doubt but- *sighs* never mind." She said honestly before Korro looked down at her.

Korro: "Well this doesn't convince me, I know what I heard. I don't care how cooperative Hiroshi is being! I know he's lying!" He shouted at Y/n seriously as she began to get angry at his tone at her.

Y/n: "Why are you doing this and giving me that attitude?! Are you that jealous of me and Asamir?" She questioned him honestly as Korro's eyes widened at her words.

Korro: "W-What?! Don't be ridiculous! That has nothing to do with it!" He shouted out at her til Y/n's bright (eye color) eyes hardened and darkened to show him her anger.

Y/n: "If you don't drop this, consider our friendship over and yes, I mean it, Korro." She said seriously as she looked up at Korro making him back down.

Korro: Sighs softly before looking aside from Y/n. "I'm sorry. Hiroshi is not the man you think he is, and I don't want you to be in danger when his true colors are shown." He said honestly while he looked back at Y/n.

Y/n: Looks up at Korro before tossing her hands up into the air angrily. "Excuse me? I don't need you to protect me! Spirits, Korro you are worst then Mako when wanting to protect me, I can handle myself in case you've forgotten!!" She yelled at Korro angrily til Asamir walked over towards them and gently held her hand in his own. "Goodbye, Korro." She said before walking away with Asamir whom kissed her cheek lovingly to help her calm down. "Thanks Asamir."

Once Asamir and Y/n left a Sato employee walked towards Korro as he was petting Naga and slipped a piece of paper into his open palm. As Korro felt something in his hand to open the piece of paper for his eyes to read a message.

Korro: "I think you guys should hear this." He said gaining Tenzin's and Lin's attention before he read the message out loud. "If you want to find the truth, Meet me under the north end of the silk road bridge at midnight." He said before they walked the streets to the informant whom caught their attention by whispering.

Informant: "Psst, over here. Listen, I joined the Equalists because I believed in what Amon said. I thought he could make life better for us non-benders. But I didn't sign up for this-- this war." He said seriously as Lin asked him.

Lin: "What do you have on Hiroshi Sato?" She questioned while the informant as he told her.

Informant: "He manufactured those gloves for the Equalists. And there are rumors he's working on something even bigger; some new kind of weapon." He told the group.

Tenzin: "We searched all of future industries and found nothing." He said to the informant.

Informant: "That's because he has a secret factory. It's right underneath the Sato mansion." He told them before the three left and boarded a police force blimp to get to the Sato mansion.

Later in the Evening nearing the Sato Mansion

Tenzin: "Raiding the Sato mansion is a risky move with Tarrlok breathing down your neck. If we're wrong--" He said towards Lin.

Lin: "I know. I can kiss my job goodbye. But protecting Republic city is all I care about. We can't let Amon get his hands on this new weapon." She told Tenzin as the blimp stopped at the mansion.

Inside a parlor Bolin was eating grapes from a huge fruit bowl, Mako was looking at a record and Y/n was talking to Asamir listening to soft jazz music on the record player until the police busted open the door.

Asamir: "What are you doing here?!" He yelled out as he stood up from his chair as Lin addressed him.

Lin: "We have reason to believe there's a factory hidden below the mansion." She told Asamir as he scoffed at the woman.

Asamir: "I think I would have noticed if there was a factory underneath my house. The lies you people come up with just to persecute my father..." He said sighing softly honestly fed up with this ridiculous nonsense.

Tenzin: "Where is your father, Asamir?" He questioned kindly towards the young man.

Asamir: "In his workshop, behind the house." He said honestly before taking everyone outside to the workshop as metal benders surrounded the area and entered the shop. "Dad? Hello?" He questioned as a officer came up to Lin.

Officer: "Chief, the estate's been secured. No one's left the workshop since we arrived." He said as Lin scoffed.

Lin: "Perhaps we just couldn't see him leaving." She said before walking into the workshop and lifted up her right foot and retracted the metal of her boot's sole to use her mother's patented echolocation from the earth around them all. "There's a tunnel beneath the workshop running deep into the mountainside." She said seriously while Asamir couldn't believe what he had heard.

Asamir: "What? There's no tunnel." He said seriously before Lin metal bended a large piece of metal up into the air and tossed it aside to show everyone the entrance to the tunnel.

Bolin: "Do you think your dad knows about this tunnel?" He questioned and whispered to Asamir as he looked conflicted.

Asamir: "I don't understand. There must be an explanation." He said not knowing what to feel at this moment in time as Korro looked over at him.

Korro: "Maybe you don't know everything about your father. I'm sorry, Asamir." He said honestly as Lin instructed her officers into the tunnel and cautious but one to watch Bolin, Mako, Asamir and Y/n.

Lin: "Uh-uh, you four stay up here. Officer Song, keep an eye on them." She said while herself along with Tenzin and Korro walked down into the tunnel as Korro looked back at his friends while Y/n looked down at her feet before holding Asamir's hand in her own.

In the Secret Factory

The police were met with large hanging posters if Amon and huge tank like mechanical suits.

Lin: "Not your average backyard workshop." She said while Korro looked at the suits.

Korro: "And I'm guessing those are the new weapons." He said as the police spread out.

Tenzin: "Hiroshi was lying all right, but where is he?" He questioned as a metal wall rose up behind everyone and the lights were turned off, the impact of the raised wall notified the four teens upstairs.

Bolin: "What was that?" He asked as Mako spoke up

Mako: "We need to get down there and see what's going on." Y/n slowly moved behind Officer Song as the boys distracted him.

Song: "Absolutely not. You're staying put until the chief comes back." He said with authority as Mako and Bolin saw Y/n was a few feet behind the officer as Bolin gave Mako the look.

Mako: "All right, we'll stay put. But can we wait outside or something? It's so dusty in this workshop." He said as he rubbed his nose.

Song: "No, we're waiting right here." He told Mako as Y/n slowly got into her chi-blocking stance.

Mako: "Okay, but don't blame me if I start sn-snee... if I start to sn-sn-snee... sn-sneeze." He said wheezing a bit before bending his head back along with his back while Bolin toed at the floor.

Song: "What's your problem, bub?" He questioned Mako as Y/n smirked mischievously at her brothers.

Mako: "I'm about to--ah-choo!" He shouted out fake sneezing out fire knocking off the Officer's helmet for Y/n to quickly strike the man's neck pressure points before moving aside as a slab of earth tripped up the man then the siblings tied up and gagged the man. "Sorry, pal. We know you were just doing your job." He said seriously

Bolin: "Yeah, just stay put until the chief comes back. That sounds very familiar, doesn't it? Why? Because you said it." He said jokingly as Y/n smacked herself in the forehead at his lame attempt at a joke.

The siblings along with Asamir walked over towards the tunnel entrance as Y/n looked over at her boyfriend before placing a comforting hand onto his shoulder.

Y/n: "Asamir, you should stay here. We'll check it out." She said honestly as Bolin and Mako walked down into the tunnel.

Asamir: "I have to find out the truth about my father, Y/n." He said seriously before Y/n placed her free hand onto his cheek.

Y/n: "I understand. But that's why I'm going down there to find out for you. Please stay here where it's safe in case things don't go well, Asamir." She pleaded with her boyfriend.

Asamir: Sighs softly before leaning down and kissed Y/n on the lips lightly then looked down at his girlfriend. "All right." He said seriously as he watched Y/n and her brothers enter the transportation. "Be careful." He said seriously while he gripped his hands into fists.

Lin tried to bend the wall down only for Hiroshi Sato's voice to ring out the ring through an intercom of sorts.

Hiroshi: "I'm afraid you won't be able to metalbend that wall, Cheif Beifong. It's solid platinum." He said seriously as green lights from the metallic suits blinded the group a bit, the suits surrounded the group. "My mecha-tanks are platinum as well. Not even your renowned mother could bend metal so pure." He said seriously as Korro noticed that Hiroshi was in one of the suits.

Korro: "Hiroshi, I knew you were a lying, no-good Equalist. Come out here and--" He growled deeply in anger at the man.

Hiroshi: "And do what, young avatar? Face the Wrath of your bending? No. I'll think I'll fight from inside here, where my odds are a little more...equal." he said seriously as Lin snarled at him.

Lin: "That source was a setup. You lured us down here." She snarled angrily as the tanks moved in closer.

Hiroshi: "Guilty as charged." He said before firing a grappler hook at the group only for Tenzin. Lin and Korro to dodge out of the way of it while the fight began.

Mako, Bolin and Y/n heard fighting happening on the other side of the wall along with pained screams then heard Tenzin shout out Korro's name.

Y/n: "Bolin, we have to get in there now!" She yelled out worried about Korro as Bolin began digging a tunnel underneath the wall to get inside the room.

Hiroshi: Got out of his mecha-tank looking at Lin, Tenzin and Korro along with the metal bending officers that were knocked out on the floor. "Well, I'd say that was a near-flawless test run. Load everyone into the transports and deliver them to Amon." He ordered the Equalists.

Bolin carefully placed a earth slab onto the ground as he along with Mako and Y/n got out of the makeshift tunnel seeing the Equalists were tying up the officers and putting them into vans.

Bolin: "Oh, no." He said quitely.

Mako: "Korro was right. We gotta do something quick." He said seriously and quitely while the three began sneaking from the shadows. Mako got Lin, Bolin got Tenzin while Y/n carefully checked Korro.

Y/n: "Korro, I'm so sorry." She whispered softly before carefully putting him onto her backs as her brothers got Lin and Tenzin on their backs.

Hiroshi: "Not so fast, kids." He said wearing chi blockers electric gloves beside the lieutenant.

Bolin: "Hello, Mr. Sato. Wow. What a really... swell, scary factory you have here under your giant mansion." He said as Y/n glared at Hiroshi.

Mako: "Sponsoring our team. Supporting the Avatar. It was all just a big cover." He growled angrily.

Hiroshi: "Yes, and the most difficult part was watching my son traipse around with a firebending street mouse like your sister!" He said as Y/n snarled at him.

Y/n: "I know something felt off about you! I could tell by your chi flow nothing but anger under a mask!" She yelled at Hiroshi making him back off a bit.

Asamir: "Dad, stop!" He shouted out as his father looked over at him. "Why?" He questioned not believing what he had just heard from his father's mouth.

Hiroshi: "Son... I wanted to keep you out of this for as long as I could, but now that you know the truth, please forgive me." He said honestly as Asamir looked at him. "These people, these...benders, they took away your mother, the love of my life. They've ruined the world. But with Amon, we can fix it and build a perfect world together. We can help people like us everywhere." He told Asamir before taking off one of his gloves and held it out towards his son. "Join me, Asamir." He said as Asamir took in what his father said and walked towards him hesitating before taking the glove from him and put it on.

Y/n: "No, Asamir." She said before looking over her shoulder to see Korro woke up. "Your going to be okay, I promise." She whispered softly helping Korro back onto his feet.

Asamir: "I love you, dad." He said honestly before striking his father with the electric current from the glove and took out the lieutenant as well. "But I'm not like you nor will I ever be." He said seriously as the mecha tanks looked at the group.

Mako: "Let's get out of here, now!" He yelled out as the group escaped through the makeshift tunnel and fled the Sato mansion in the police blimp.

Lin: "My metal benders are on their way to Amon and it's all my fault. Tarrlok's right. I failed as chief. First thing in the morning, I'm handing in my resignation." She told Tenzin seriously.

Tenzin: "No, you can't give up like this." He scolded his old friend as Lin sat up from her makeshift bed.

Lin: "I'm not giving up. I'm gonna find my officers and take Amon down. But I'm gonna do it my way, outside the law." She said seriously.

Y/n walked over towards Korro and hugged him gently as he hugged her back.

Y/n: "I'm sorry I should've stood by you about Asamir's dad being an Equalist it's not an easy thing to believe even now." She said honestly as Korro rubbed her back slowly.

Korro: "I know. I'm sorry this whole thing happened." He said honestly to Y/n.

Y/n: "So, does your offer to live at the air temple still stand?" She asked while they separated from the embrace.

Korro: "Of course it does and Asamir's welcome too." He said seriously as he made Y/n smile up at him.

Y/n: "Thank you so much, Korro." She said honestly before Korro took her hand into his own.

Korro: "After everything he's been through, He's going to need you, Y/n." He said honestly before watching Y/n walk away from him and up to Asamir as she hugged him tightly.
