Shiro: "After a close encounter with Amon, Korro took a leave of absence from Tarrlok's task force. But the Avatar has still been hard at work, leading the underdog Fire Ferrets to the Pro bending championship finals. Only one team stands in their way-- The Wolf-bats. Led by Team Captain and Ex boyfriend of the Fire Ferrets Dancer Y/n, Tahno. The brutal Wolf-bats look to repeat as champs. Have the Fire Ferrets finally met their match, will Y/n take the firebender spot in the championship match to knock Tahno off his throne?"

At The Pro Bending Gym

Korro, Mako, Bolin and Y/n were practicing their strikes for the finals onto headshot photos of Tahno that Y/n had saved for practice for them to destroy with earth disks, orange and white fire along with water as jazz music played throughout the gym.

Korro: "Yes! Whoo!" He shouted out in joy as the radio DJ spoke up after the music.

Radio DJ: "You are listening to the music hour. Brought to you by Cabbage Corp. Republic City's trusted name in technology for over fifty years." He spoke

Y/n grabbed her own workout towel and began wiping off her face then scratched Pabu's chin as he chittered sweetly.

Korro: "Man, I got a good feeling about tonight! I don't care if we are the underdogs, we can take those pompous wolf-bats." He said confidently.

Mako: "It's going to be our toughest match ever, but I think you're right." He said as Bolin pulled him into a side hug while Y/n jumped onto Bolin's shoulders.

Bolin: "Introducing your new champs, The Fantastic Fire Ferrets!" He shouted out happily like the announcer.

Y/n: "I can't wait to wipe that smug smile off of Tahno's face!" She yelled out loud before laughing as Korro smiled at the siblings until radio static was heard then Amon's voice.

Amon: "Good morning, citizens of Republic City. This is Amon. I hope you all enjoyed last night's pro bending match, because it will be the last." He said while Y/n walked over towards Korro. "It's time for this city to stop worshipping bending athletes as if they were heroes. I am calling on the council to shut down the bending arena and cancel the finals or else... there will be severe consequences." He said then radio static filled the air of the gym again.

Bolin: "That guy's got some nerve!" He said seriously as well angrily.

Mako: "You think the council will give in?" He asked Korro whom cracked his knuckles.

Korro: "I'm not waiting to find out. We need to go to city hall." He said determined as the four quickly changed into their street clothes.

At City Hall

Korro rode up to City hall on Naga with Y/n in front of him and Bolin, Mako were behind him before Korro threw the doors open to see the council in a meeting.

Tenzin: "Korro, you shouldn't be here. This is a closed meeting." He said seriously

Korro: "As the Avatar, and a pro bending player, I have a right to be heard. You can't cancel the finals." He said seriously as he walked towards the council with Mako, Bolin and Y/n at his back.

Tenzin: "I know winning the championship means a lot to you, but as far as I'm concerned, we need to shut the arena down." He said seriously

Korro: "What about the rest of you?" He questioned the other members of the council. "Tarrlok, there's no way you're backing down from Amon, right?" He asked as he shrugged his shoulders.

Tarrlok: "Actually, Tenzin and I agree, for once." He said seriously as he stood up.

Tenzin: "The council is unanimous-- We're closing the arena." He said as Mako and Bolin gave their protests as Y/n began to think.

Korro: "I don't understand. I thought you of all people would take a stand against Amon." He asked Tarrlok.

Tarrlok: "While I am still committed to bringing that lunatic to justice, I will not put innocent lives at stake just so you and your friends can play a game." He said seriously while Mako spoke up.

Mako: "Pro bending might only be a game to you, but think of what it means to the city. Right now the arena is the only place where benders and non-benders gather together in peace... to watch benders..." He said struggling til Bolin spoke out.

Bolin: "Beat each other up-- in peace! It's an inspiration to everyone!" He said with idealism.

Tarrlok: "I appreciate your naive idealism, but you're ignoring the reality of the situation." He said towards the boys while Y/n was still quite.

Korro: "The reality is, if you close the arena, you let Amon win!" He shouted out angrily

Tarrlok: "I'm sorry, but our decision has been made." He said as he lifted up his gavel. "This meeting is adjourned." He said about to end the meeting until a whip of metal and a burst of lighting break the gavel in two as the wood smoked slightly making Tarrlok gasp as everyone looked over at Lin Beifong and Y/n whom was blowing steam off her fore and middle fingers.

Lin: "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with the Avatar." She said while walking up to the group as her eyes glanced at Y/n whom was glaring at Tarrlok.

Tarrlok: "You do?" He questioned confused about Lin's change of heart.

Korro: "Yeah, you do?" He questioned also confused.

Lin: "I expected this kind of cut and run response from Tenzin, but the rest of you? Come on, show a little more backbone even this girl fired lightning to state has she has more bravery. It's time that the benders of this city displayed some strength and unity against the Equalists." She said seriously

Tenzin: "We must prevent the conflict between benders and non-benders from escalating into a all out war! The council is not changing its position, Lin." He said seriously

Tarrlok: "Now, just a moment, Tenzin. Let us hear what our esteemed chief of police has in mind. Along with the Fire Ferrets own Fire Dancer." He said as Tenzin hmmed angrily.

Lin: "If you keep the arena open, my metalbenders and I will provide extra security during the championship match. There's no better force to deal with the chi-blockers. Our armor is impervious to their attacks." She said seriously towards the council.

Tarrlok: "Are you saying that you will personally take responsibility for the safety of the spectators in the arena?" He questioned Lin.

Lin: "I guarantee it." She said seriously while professionally to Tarrlok.

Tarrlok: "it is hard to argue with chief Beifong's track record if she is confident her elite officers can protect the arena, then she has my support. I am changing my vote-- who else is with me?" He said as the fire, earth and Southern water councilors agreed. "The arena stays open. Miss what is your proposal?" He asked Y/n as she stood up in front of everyone.

Y/n: "Cheif Beifong will also have me as a defensive player, I know how those chi-blockers move better then anyone here from my teaching under Ty lee from the Kyoshi warriors and my white fire is hotter than anything Amon can throw at us. Mako, I'm asking you to sit this match out tonight, if something does happen then I can let loose." She said seriously towards her brothers as Mako nodded with her decision.

Tarrlok: "Good luck in the finals. And good luck to you, Chief Beifong." He said as Tenzin walked over towards Lin.

Tenzin: "A word, please, Lin." He asked as they left the hall. "Tarrlok's playing you. And I don't want to see you get hurt." He said seriously as well honestly to his friend.

Lin: "I know what I'm doing and the risks that come with it. Besides that fire bending girl proved that this is her fight as well. That look in her eyes, she's more powerful than her family knows." She said seriously at Tenzin.

Tenzin: "In that case, I'm going to be by your side during the match." He said seriously before looking at her. "I know that young woman is more than she appears already." He said honestly.

Lin: "You don't need to babysit me." She said seriously while snarling a bit.

Tenzin: "It's for Korro. I want to make sure he's safe." He said honestly

Lin: Snaps at Tenzin as she tossed her hands in the air. "Do what you want. It's not like I've ever been able to stop you before." She said before walking away from Tenzin and ignoring Korro.

Korro: "Excuse me,  Chief Beifong? I wanted to thank you for your help. It really means...a lot." He said seriously before scoffing at her attitude towards him. "What is her deal? Even when she's on my side she's against me." He said towards Tenzin.

Tenzin: "I've known Lin since we were children. She's always been... challenging." He said thinking that wasn't the right word to describe Lin's personality.

Korro: "What did your father do to make her hate the Avatar so much?" He questioned Tenzin.

Tenzin: "My father and Lin got along famously. I'm afraid her issues are with me." He said honestly as it suddenly clicked in Korro's head.

Korro: Wait a second... It all makes sense now! You and Beifong, Beifong and you. You two were a couple!" He said seriously impressed by Tenzin while Tezin's eyes widened in shock and stammered.

Tenzin: "What?! How... Where'd you get that idea?!" He asked looking around frantically nervous while Korro laughed.

Korro: "Ha! Your wife." He said smugly as he smirked at Tenzin.

Tenzin: "Criminy! I'll have to have a word with her..." He said seriously as Korro kept smirking at him.

Korro: "So Pema stole you from Beifong? I'm surprised our "esteemed chief of police" didn't throw her in jail or buried her into the ground." He said still impressed.

Tenzin: "Oh, she tried. Anyway, Pema didn't "steal" me. Lin and I had been growing apart for some time. We both had different goals in life-- Why am I even telling you this?!" He yelled at Korro as he laughed. "It all happened a long time ago, and we've moved past it." He said seriously as Korro clicked his tongue.

Korro: "Apparently Beifong hasn't. And with the way she gets mad, her and Y/n could destroy anyone who stands in their way." He said seriously

Tenzin: "What are you...? Of course she has. Anyway, this is none of your business!" He shouted out before storming off in a huff.

Korro: "See you at home, Mister Heartbreaker!" He yelled out loud before laughing uncontrollably at his teacher's outbursts.

Later that night at the Pro bending Arena

Republic City's police sailed on the waters, flew through the air in blimps and walked all over the arena investigating for threats of Equalists as Lin supervised before getting the all clear. Tenzin walked over beside Lin as he asked her.

Tenzin: "How is the security weep going?" He asked Lin whom responded coldly to him. "They've checked underneath the stands? And you have enough officers to cover all points of entry?" He questioned Lin.

Lin: "Fine. Yes. I have the skies, the bay, and every nook and cranny of this place covered. Now leave me alone and let me do my job." She said seriously getting annoyed by Tenzin while she crossed her arms onto her armor.

Tenzin: "Lin, with so much on the line, it would be nice if we could help each other out, at least for one night. Like old times." He said honestly to his old friend.

Lin: "Like old times? Okay, I'll try to be less abrasive than usual." She said honestly while staying on guard.

Tenzin: "I would appreciate that." He said as the championship tournament was ready to begin as fans began filling up the arena.

Shiro: "The anticipation is palpable as we are just moments away from the championship match. Will the Wolf-bats' ferocity help them repeat as champs, or will the underdog Fire Ferrets serve up a surprising bowl of smackdown soup? Especially with the Fire Ferrets own Dancer in the ring tonight, folks." He announced in his booth.

Bolin: "Now I know there's a big crowd, but don't be nervous. You're gonna do great. I believe in you." He said towards Pabu whom chirped at him wearing a tiny Future Industries uniform.

Y/n secured her helmet on her head and tightened her braces onto her wrists before breathing slowly to relax then looked over at Korro and Bolin smiling at them. Cheers and applause filled the arena as the ring announcer was lifted into the ring

Announcer: "Introducing the Challengers, The Future Industries Fire Ferrets!" He shouted out as fans whom loved the Ferrets were cosplaying like them cheering out with a water tribe dressed girl for Korro was wearing a replica of Y/n's jacket. Korro and Bolin waved to the crowd as Y/n blew kisses at her fans smiling til Asamir blow a kiss back at her which Y/n blushed slightly before winking at him and sent a kiss his way while Korro groaned in disgust until Y/n nudged him in the ribs. Once in the ring Bolin gave Pabu a cue that he was on while bending an earth disk for Pabu to jump through them backflip onto Y/n's shoulder as she did a quick fire dance in a shape of a heart and Pabu licked her cheek lightly. "And their opponents-- The three-time defending champions, The White Falls Wolf-bats!" He announced as Tahno and his team were dressed up as Wolf-bats howling out as fireworks went off around them while their fangirls howled out as well and the Fire Ferrets fans were booing at the Wolf-bats.

Bolin: "They got nothing on us, Buddy. Anybody can howl-- Ooh!" He said petting Pabu's head slightly before doing a mock howl. "Whatever." He said seriously

Tahno and his team took off their masks and cloaks as Tahno winked at Y/n whom snarled at him before cracking her knuckles.

Korro: "I'm going to knock Tahno's stupid hair off his stupid head." He snarled angrily as the teams took their stances.

Shiro: The champs and challengers face off at the centerline. And here we go!" He said as the bell dinged out Y/n quickly back flipped backwards away from the opposite fire bender to see Tahno missed hitting Korro with a water boxing move. "Tahno tries to clean the Avatar's clock with some dirty water-boxing!"

Y/n growls angrily at Tahno's dirty trick before blasting some white fire at Ming whom successful hit her with three earth disks which made her move back into zone two. Bolin managed to take out Shaozu with some fancy foot work.

Y/n: "Nice shot, Bo!" She cheered out as Tahno went up against Korro whom were both evenly matched til Tahno hits Bolin with a deluge of water but the referees didn't call a foul as Bolin was knocked into zone three. The Wolf bats entered Fire Ferrets territory. "What's the big idea, ref? That was a housing foul!" She said only to get tripped by a dirty trick from Ming into zone three.

Tenzin: "Oh, come on, refs! There was some funny business in that last play!" He shouted out angrily

Lin: "Wouldn't have guessed you knew the rules of Pro bending." She said while smirking impressed.

Tenzin: "Ahem, I've been brushing up. That Wolf-bat blatantly bent a disk outside of his zone." He said seriously.

Shiro: "The Ferret siblings are backed up to zone three, and the Wolf-bats smell blood." He said as Tahno used an illegal ice move to shot Bolin into the water. "Looks like Tahno snuck in an illegal icing move, but once again there's no call. I don't know what match the refs are watching, but it's obviously not this one." He said as Korro was knocked into zone three with Y/n as the Wolf-bats came at them only to knock Korro and Y/n into the pool with Bolin making the Wolf-bats win the first match. "It's a knockout! The Wolf-bats win the championship for the fourth year in a-- hold on a second, folks! Scratch that. The Ferrets are still alive! But just barely!" He announced as Korro swang Y/n back into the ring as she shot a fire roundhouse kick into Tahno's back making him fall onto his face. "What an unbelievable move! These Ferrets aren't just bending the elements, they're bending my mind!" He yelled out excitedly "The underdogs survive to see round two!"

Tahno got up glaring at Y/n whom smirked at him mischievously and winked as he growled at her. Y/n rolled her eyes at him before Korro and Bolin joined her back in the ring for the second round.

Korro: "What's wrong with these refs?" He questioned angrily as Y/n glared over at Tahno.

Y/n: "They've been paid off, it's the only explanation. Tahno has always been known to play dirty and someone wants us to lose." She said seriously

Korro: "If the Wolf-bats are going to fight dirty, then so should we." He said as Y/n looked over at him.

Y/n: "No, We can't. The refs have it out for us, Korro. If we're going to win this thing, it has to be fair and square." She said seriously towards Korro alone.

Korro: "Ugh, That's no fun, but all right." He said as round two began with the sound of the bell. The fight was brutal on both sides as Tahno sneak in ice on Korro's foot only for Y/n to melt it off then began dodging illegal head shots from Shaozu until it was decided for a Tie breaker with a coin toss.

Referee: "The Fire Ferrets win the coin toss! Which element do you chose?" He asked as Korro walked up.

Korro: "I'm taking this one. Let's go. You and me, Pretty boy." He said seriously still pissed about Tahno's disrespect towards Y/n.

Tahno: "I thought you'd never ask." He said as they began circling each other slowly. "Come on, Little boy. Give me your best shot." He taunted Korro.

Y/n: "Knock him out, Korro! Wipe that smirk off his stuck up face!" She yelled out loud as Korro knocked Tahno off the platform along with his helmet. "Yes! Whoo-hoo! Yeah, baby!!" She cheered out.

Korro: "Hmm. Chump." He said as Tahno's helmet ironically landed in Korro's and Y/n's fan girl's hands.

Announcer: "Round two goes to the Fire Ferrets!" He said as Y/n ran over towards Korro and hugged him tightly.

Y/n: "Nice one! That was amazing! You were amazing, Korro!!" She said smiling letting go of Korro as Bolin.

Bolin: "That's the stuff! You are my hero! Aah!!" He cheered out.

Y/n: "We might actually win this thing!" She cheered out as Tahno glared at the Ferrets angrily.

Tahno: "Let's send them to a watery grave." He growled through his teeth.

Lin: "I can't believe your sweet-tempered father was reincarnated into the boy. He's tough as nails." She said astonished beside Tenzin.

Tenzin: "Reminds me of someone else I knew at that age. You two might get along, if you would only give him a chance." He said honestly making Lin scoff at him.

Shiro: "One round a piece! Who wants it more?" He questioned as the bell dinged. "The Wolf-bats fly out of the gate, swinging with bad intentions. The challengers are showing a lot of heart, but the champs are really starting to find their rhythm now. Can the Ferrets hang in there with the best, especially when the best are frankly getting a little help from the refs? It's all down to this final round!" He announced as  the match went on strong. "Y/n is leaving it all in the ring, but it looks like Tahno and Ming are up to more shenanigans!" He said as Bolin, Y/n and Korro were knocked off the ring and into the pool below. "Oh, this has gone too far! That water had rocks in it!" He said seriously as the refs called knockout.

Tenzin: "Oh, come on! Those were illegal headshots! Open your eyes, ref!" He yelled out loud angrily

Y/n broke through the water coughing until she felt something off so she began using the acrobatics Ty Lee taught her to hand onto the edge of the ring as the chaos began throughout the arena and Amon took Tahno's bending away from him.

Amon: "I believe I have your attention, Benders of Republic City. So once again the Wolf-bats are your pro bending champions. It seems fitting that you celebrate three bullies who cheated their way to victory. Because every day you threaten and abuse your fellow nom-bending citizens, just like the Wolf-bats did to their opponents tonight. Those men were supposedly the best in the bending world. And yet it only took a few moments for me to cleanse them of their impurity. Let this be a warning to all of you benders out there-- if any of you stand in my way, you will meet the same fate." He said seriously as the crowd gasped in horror. "Now, to my followers. For years, the Equalists have been forced to hide in the shadows. But now, we have the numbers and the strength to create a new Republic City. I'm happy to tell you that the time for change has finally come." He said

Mako: Woke up looking at Korro. "How are we gonna get out of here?" He asked seriously while Bolin noticed Y/n was not with them.

Bolin: "Wait, where's Y/n at?" He questioned as he told Pabu to chew through the ropes that were binding them to a pillar.

Y/n jumped onto the ring doing a loud tiger-dillo roar of white flames in pure rage then began taking out Amon's henchmen with her own chi-blocking then glared at Amon while breathing heavily.

Y/n: "You speak of abuse of bending when your abusing chi!" She yelled out before firing lightning near the man's feet. "That's for my rotten ex boyfriend and his teammates." She said before she began dodging Amon's attacks with ease until Korro and Lin joined the fight and she dived into the water below as the explosions went off. Mako and Bolin helped Y/n out of the water and hugged her close. "Be careful, Korro." She said honestly worried

Y/n ran over towards the Wolf-bats and began using her fire healing to try to restore their bending.

Y/n: "Come on, Come on!" She yelled out loud but breathed slowly to calm down her inner fire as Korro, Lin, Bolin and Mako ran towards her.

Tahno: "And here I thought you didn't care about me, Y/n?" He said trying to joke.

Y/n: "I don't but no one deserves this, not even you or your teammates." She said seriously before letting the fire evaporate from her palms sadly. "Tahno, Ming, Shaozu... I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do for your bending. I'm so sorry." She said while tears ran down her cheeks before Korro gently placed an hand onto her shoulder as she looked up at him then hugged him close as Mako and Bolin joined into the hug.

Lin: "I can't believe Amon did this. I played right into his hand." She said seriously as Tenzin walked up to her.

Tenzin: "He played us all. Republic City is at war." He said as everyone looked at the damage Amon and the Equalists had done to the arena.
