Chapter 8: Going to a New World
Goju's POV
________
As Sariah lead me around the building, or.....wherever we are.
You see, this place is strange.
I can't describe it. It's like we're standing on floating platforms, and the stairs are just floating steps. You can see right through it all, like glass. Each time we'd make a step, there was a slight hum under our feet.
I'm getting distracted, aren't I? Sorry....
Anyways, we made it to a pair of doors, made of silver, and has gold doorknobs. "And guess who my dad is?" Sariah asked as she opened the door. "Santa Claus?" I said jokingly.
She laughed. "Nope. Daaaaaad! He's awake!" She called out in the seemingly huge library. There are books everywhere!
"Oh, hello!" An elderly looking man said, wearing a robe, and carrying a staff. I noticed the end of the staff, which has a clock.
"No way....Father Time?!" I exclaimed, my jaw dropping. Sariah giggled. "Yup! He's my dad!" She hugged the man, making him chuckle dryly. "Ahh, so you're the boy she rescued. Goju, right?"
I nodded, and bowed respectfully. "Yes, I am Goju. It's an honour to meet you, Father Time."
He smiled, and stroked his beard. "Ahh, you have one of my Wrist Time Devices!" He held it, examining it. "Hmm....its lost some of its power. One moment." He tapped the clock of his staff onto it gently. "Nothing happened..." I said, a bit disappointed.
Then, the orb began to shine brightly, making a loud, yet low him noise. It changed from green to red, while the black material changed to gold. "Wha-?" I blinked as the light died down, then orb softly glowing as it usually did. "There. Now you may travel to other worlds."
"Can you teach me how to use this thing?" I asked him politely, and excitedly. He nodded. "Of course. I will also train you in other things as well."
