With Earth slowly recovering from the war, Astra is invited to the Council of Stars, a secretive and ancient intergalactic organization composed of leaders from various advanced civilizations. The Council offers Earth protection and aid, but in return, they demand Astra's allegiance. Astra faces a difficult decision: remain on Earth to help rebuild, or join the Council and represent her people on a cosmic level. Meanwhile, a mysterious new threat emerges as remnants of the Void begin appearing in distant parts of the galaxy, hinting that Zoran's defeat may not have been the end.
