So, we're doing a partner writing in my ELA class. And normally, my friend William is one of the first kids people go to because he's so smart. He's on high honors in all classes. So, anyway, before anyone could ask him, he looked at me and asked if I wanted to be his partner. I was caught off guard. Cause this is a guy who helps kids that are grades above us with homework. Everyone agrees he's the smartest. And he asked me to team up with him. Though I shouldn't be so surprised, he's been one of my best friend sense 6th grade. He also made me his general for when he takes over the world. Plus we've kind of become each other's personal consultants.

But I'm still happy he asked me.
