𝓑𝓸𝓷𝓾𝓼 𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 - 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓴𝓗𝔂𝓾𝓬𝓴

I thought of writing a little bonus Chapter, since May already started. May is a very tough month for my family so I wanted to get my mind off of all the stuff.
I hope you guys will like it. Maybe, there'll be more of the bonus chapters in the future too. ^^

For now, please enjoy the slightly longer bonus! ♥

"Yah Mark Lee!" A high pitched, annoying voice caught the Canadian off guard. He looked up from his phone to see the shorter Korean running up to him with his suitcase in his hand and a backpack on his back, a huge smile displayed on his face.

The Canadian smiled at the sight. The Korean was dressed in all black, his turtleneck hugging his body nicely. He had a brown coat draped around himself too and a pair of sunglasses on top of his head. He looked adorable and elegant at the same time.

"Donghyuckie!" He smiled at him too and walked over to hug him tightly. Donghyuck came over for Christmas. He wanted to spend it with the boys, as his family was abroad and the RenLe couple went back to China. He didn't want to be alone, so why not spend the holidays with his close friends?

"Let's go? Jaemin cooked us some lunch." Mark asked with a smile, taking the bag from the Korean along with the suitcase. Donghyuck protested and tried to pry them out of Mark's hands, but the strong Canadian didn't budge and lead the boy over to his car.

He missed him. Mark missed his annoying best friend as much as Jeno used to miss Jaemin. It was heartbreaking. He knew there was much more to his feelings. He knew it wasn't just friendship he felt towards the slightly shorter boy. But he couldn't just tell him. He didn't want to lose him as a friend.

He threw the bags into the trunk of the car, then went to open the door to the passenger seat for Donghyuck. He let him crawl in, then closed the door and went to sit at the driver's side.

Donghyuck smiled at the Canadian again.

Mark looked terribly handsome in his plain black shirt and ripped jeans. He didn't even look cold, but Donghyuck figured that it must've been because he was used to the freezing cold. Donghyuck couldn't take his eyes off of the Canadian man. He missed him too.

It seemed as if Mark has grown up over the few months the boys haven't seen each other. As if Mark has matured a bit more. His cheeks weren't as chubby anymore, wore his big rounded glasses and his hair was messy under the beanie that Donghyuck bought him back in Korea.

"I missed you, you seagull." Donghyuck giggled, making the Canadian chuckle. Mark started the car and drove out of the airport parking lot. Mark drove back to the house where the boys lived. He wasn't able to shake off the smile that has settled across his face.

"I missed you too, baby Pudu... How's Korea? I heard it's going down..." Mark spoke, the boy nodding slightly as a response.

"There's a lot going on around the North Korea and I'm sick of it... Other than that, is fairly good. Chenle and Renjun said they'd like to go back to China though so it looks like I'll be alone there..." He answered. Mark frowned, keeping his eyes on the road. It was a long way to the house as they lived on the other side of the whole city.

"Come here then. You know you'll always welcomed here." He said without thinking. Donghyuck chuckled again and shook his head, sighing heavily. He'd love to, really, but he'd need to think about it.

Sure, he wanted to pull a Jaemin and live happily ever after, but he had it more complicated than his peach haired friend. Donghyuck's parents were remarried, meaning he had to ask permission from four people in total. He also needed to explain everything to his younger siblings who'd be heartbroken, knowing that their big bro won't be there for them.

He also couldn't just leave his work and studies.

Mark parked the car at the front porch of a huge house and turned off the engine. They sat there in silence for a little, before they managed to get out of the SUV. Mark carried Donghyuck's luggage and bag and lead him inside the house. Jaemin immediately ran over and jumped on his friend to engulf him in a hug.

The young bartender also spent his Christmas in Canada this year.

Later that night, Mark found himself wide awake. Donghyuck was in the next door and it seemed like he talked to someone. He faintly heard him argue with someone, becoming worried. His voice was slightly wavering, weak, and Mark felt the urge to go and see if he's fine.

Before he could make up his mind and sit up on the bed, the younger was inside the room. Mark finally sat himself up, back leaning against the headboard, watching his younger friend close the door behind him. Just then he heard the fain sobs coming off of him.

"Can I sleep with you...?" Donghyuck asked silently, voice cracking here and there. Without any hesitations, Mark pulled up his duvet so the boy could slip in.

And Donghyuck did.

He cuddled close to Mark's side, throwing an arm around his waist so he could be a little bit closer to him. The raven head gently stroked the boy's hair, soothing him down.

"G'night, baby Pudu." Mark said, a kiss being placed on the top of Donghyuck's head. Like that, the two of them fell asleep in each other's arms.

Mark, however, woke up in the middle of the night. His gaze was stuck at the boy sleeping on his chest. Another heavy sigh escaped his lips, as he threaded his fingers through the sleeping boy's hair gently.

He was wondering what was going on earlier, but he knew better than to ask. He knew that Donghyuck was a very sensitive person so if he would ask him, it would be no good. He wanted to give him space and let him rest. He flew all the way from Korea after all and must be very tired. After all, the flight took almost twenty hours.

The moonlight dimly illuminated the room and the only thing crossing Mark's mind was how beautiful Donghyuck looked under it. His tan skin was absolutely stunning, along with the tiny moles scattered across it. His dark hair was tickling Mark's neck, lips slightly parted.

Mark couldn't help but smile down at the boy, then he looked out of the window as if he was thinking. It was late, way too late for him to be awake, but he didn't really care after all. He wasn't that tired anyways.

"I missed you a lot while you were in Korea... I often felt lonely, you know? Jaemin and Jeno are always together and I'm here, left by myself... It's nice having you back. I wish you knew how much I love you." Mark said quietly into the air. He had absolutely no idea that the boy was already awake and heard every single word the older has said.

Mark woke him up when he started running his hands through his hair. He didn't mind, he actually really liked it. Donghyuck stirred a little and looked up at the older, whose eyes were still glued on the window and on the scenery behind it.

The younger kissed at Mark's exposed collarbone, his hands flying up to cup at the older's cheek. He instantly looked down and blushed when he locked gazes with the younger. Donghyuck's eyes were hooded, tired, but held enormous amounts of love behind them.

Without further hesitations, he leaned up to gently kiss at Mark's lips, tasting them. There was no tongue involved as their lips locked, but there were feelings flying all around the place. As cliche as it sounded, butterflies swarmed both their stomachs, chests feeling warm.

"I love you too, seagull." The boy said tiredly when they pulled out, eyes sparkling. Mark swore he could see the whole galaxy in them. He seriously missed this.

He missed the giggles, chuckles, smiles and the loud and annoying voice. He missed the gentle touches Donghyuck gave him when they talked or went outside and the "hard" punches in the shoulder when Mark terribly flirted with him.

But mainly, he missed Donghyuck.

His Donghyuck.
