The next day, I got up really late for college. It was already 9 am and I had Calculus at 8:30 am. I hated calculus, but missing classes was a pain as I would lose track of things if I missed classes. Therefore, I was in a big hurry.

"You shouldn't have stayed up so late Al, you shouldn't have," I chastised myself under my breath.

I got out of my shower and got dressed. I immediately grabbed some toast and drove to school.

On my way to school, I recalled last night.

Zaid was so cute. He took me out for pizza to Sbarro. We had a great time. I learned about how his brother bullied him and how he failed to fight him all the time. It was nice, imagining this Adonis of a man as a cute little boy, trying to beat someone much older.

Zaid also told me how he had a knack for traveling and how his dad's being in the merchant navy facilitated him with ample opportunities to see the world.

His face glowed when he talked about his family and there was this sparkle in his eyes. It was all very adorable. It felt like he was 5 again. So innocent, so excited.

"You really miss them, na?" I asked him.

"I do," he said," it's hard, staying alone, there are a lot of responsibilities, but it's great too. I get to do whatever I want."

"I know! I love feeling independent. No one to answer to, it's amazing" I replied enthusiastically.

Right then, he looked at me, and stared at me for a while. It was as if his eyes were x-raying my face. Then suddenly, a smile appeared on his lips as he looked away.

"What were you looking at?" I asked

"I like it when you're excited. I like it when you're doing anything actually. I really like the way you are." He said, smiling.

I had started blushing again, so I looked away and asked, "you do?"

"Yes, you're kind of amazing" he said, and then he laughed it off. Things were getting a little intense.

However, nothing happened. He drove me home like a gentleman and then we texted all night. I liked Zaid a lot when he was being the nice guy. I did miss his being the flirty Casanova around me, but this was better. He was making an effort. I still didn't understand why he did that. I mean, let's face it we just met a few days ago. But it felt right. Everything that happened with him felt just right.

I had reached college by the time I finished recalling whatever happened last night. So I parked my car and ran to class.

Guys! Alia confirmed that Sidharth didn't go to any dinner date with any mystery girl. But apparently said that she was single? What is that supposed to mean!😭😭
