The next day, Ashwin replied Reena's message saying "Hey, sorry been caught up with work lately. Is next week okay?". Reena looked at the message and replied "Okay, done!". Then Reena thought to herself 'why does next week seems so long when it's like just 3 days away, gave a knock on her head and took her diary out'. In her diary, she started writing on what she is feeling like and on what she wants to let Ashwin know. Together with that, she imagines 2 different scenarios on her head and wrote them down as well. One is if Ashwin having the same feelings and vibes like her and the other is when Ashwin has the total opposite thoughts. Reena is used to imagining scenarios on her head before it could happen as it reduces her anxiety feels. Also, because when something not in her favor happens, she wouldn't feel too much about it. On the other hand, Ashwin has always remained casual, keeping all his feeling to himself. He never thought of talking about it to Reena just yet, he's afraid of not wanting to spoil the good bond they both share by talking about this. The weekend arrived and Ashwin picked up Reena at her home. As Reena got into the car, Ashwin said "Helloooo! Been long time and smiled in excitement looking at Reena". Reena replied "yeahhh till I had to call you to go out together (rolled her eyes)". Ashwin then said "well, you know, I'm a busy man (laughed). Then Ashwin asked Reena "So, where do you want to go, anything on your mind?". Reena said, "how about a café?". Ashwin asked, "Our usual one?". Reena smiled and said "yeah, where else". They had their dinner in the café and got back to car. Ashwin sensed that Reena's isn't feeling herself today. Her mind was everywhere, just not the usual her and so he decided to ask her about it. Ashwin said "hey, are you alright? You seem a little off today, is everything ok?". Reena looked at Ashwin and replied "normal ah dhane iruken (I'm fine). Ashwin said, "You sure?" and then Reena replied, "actually there's something, but I'm not sure how to talk it out".
