The Move: Part Two
As the teacher walked up to me the class had gone back to their worked. She introduced herself to me as Mrs. Wellings. That name sounded familiar, but i couldn't know her from anywhere since i just moved here. Maybe its just coincidental. She showed me to an isolated table in the back corner of the room. I was told to sit there but after i answered a very important question. She simply asked me... '' Whats nine times seven?" I was a bit confused by why she wanted to know what nine times seven was. I mean, shouldn't she know? She is a teacher after all. I got so side tracked by my thoughts everyone was staring at me again. I counted on my fingers and stated sixty three was the answer. Mrs. Wellings just gave me an odd sinister glare and told me to sit. I sat at the table and placed my bag on my lap. I looked around the classroom and noticed a purple rug in between the desk. Then when i looked straight ahead to a desk in front of the rug i saw an awfully large sign that stated " NO WALKING ON THE RUG!" "Why have a rug if you cant walk on it?" "That's stupid" I accidentally said that aloud and luckily only one girl heard me but she didn't say anything. I was uncomfortable in this room. Especially with Mrs. Wellings giving me a creepy smile every five seconds. The bell finally rang and everybody poured out the room. I guess im not the only one weirded out by Mrs. Wellings. I stood up and grabbed my bag and made my way with the other students. I ended up stumbling upon a cafeteria filed with kids. " I guess this is my stop" I walk into the cafeteria and everybody is staring at me. "GREAT!" I hate being the center of attention. I always end up having a panic attack and racing out the room before i pass out. I walk up to the line and they were serving cheeseburgers. I asked the lunch lady if they had any vegan options and she laughed in my face. "I can already tell its gonna be a great year here!" Once again everybody is silent and staring at me. I must have been thinking allowed. Once i sit at a table i eye my tray of dis-pare. It stares back at me as fat, fat, fat, and more FAT. I toss away my food and mark down in my journal that i have not eaten any calories today. Once i put my journal back in my bag a girl sits next to me. Its the same girl from class earlier that heard me. "Hey, meet me in the bathroom by the field at twelve. Once that bell rings run for it." Right when im going to ask her whats her name the bell rings and she darts out the door. I race behind her in hopes im not getting my self into something bad.
