Hey! So... This is my first EVER story and umm I'm really really nervous that people won't like it! But yeah... The girl in the pic above ^^^ is older Skylar. OK gotta blast!

It was my first day of middle school and I was super nervous. I don't know how people will react to my disformity thing. I have fully working black cat ears. When I was born, the doctors said that my mom couldn't do anything about the ears. anyway, back to my new school. I'm in a new neighborhood. Which means new bullies! Ugh. Every school that I've been to, I've been bullied just because of my ears. Some days I just want to rip them off. But, I can't do that because I don't have regular "human" ears. When I got into the school, all I got were stares. No "Hi! Welcome to your new school!" Or "Wow I love your (insert thing here)!" Not one thing. Just like the other 5 schools. But there was one person. He was standing there looking around. He looked really scared. I slowly slid through all of the people to him. He had these beautiful brown eyes. They looked like a tiny brown galaxy. And his hair, oh lord his hair... It was the most beautiful hair I've ever seen. It was brown too. But swept to the side. ( like this. I know this isn't 12-year-old Dan but who cares he looks so young in this.)

"H-hi. M-my names Skylar Carson." (Nyehehe comment if you know who her dad is) "Hello. M-my names Dan Howell."
