Relaxation Chamber

As I laid in the cool room I looked at everything absorbing it all as if every part of it was necessary to survive. I was interrupted from my chain of thought by the sound of a door opening, a man walked in the room completely dressed In black. he had a black scarf covering most of his face but I could still see his eyes. he leaned down into my ear and whispered something to me. . . no two somethings they where so real it made me jump from my delusional slumber and back into reality. the man left the room and I saw the other men grab him by the shoulders and cuff him. The men threw him against the wall and the scarf fell off. . . I knew who it was. I knew who saved me.

I tried to sit up but I was chained down. "Death is waiting!" I yelled. . . The chambers computer scanned my voice and released me from its prison. I slid off the bed and began walking towards the door, but I got distracted. I looked in the body sized mirror that was in front of me. It was me. . . But I was more pale than usual and my hair stood almost straight up, I was also wearing a doctors green suit. My feet were bare and cold. "whats going on?" I whispered as I looked around once more. this time noticing the photos on the wall behind me. All pictures of me from every angle. I was shirtless and had some scanner around my wrist. all the pictures revealed the same tragic background. All the scars and bruises, just another kid with a dysfunctional family. But. . . Maybe there's a reason beyond scars and tears. why did they need me?

My leather satchel was sitting on a chair by the door. I picked it up and changed back into my normal clothes that had been washed and folded nicely. then sat on a desk. Somehow I was still relaxed even as I took a step out into the world of chaos. As I walked through the flooded rooms of zombies I was one step closer to getting out of there. none of them bothered me. . . At all, they barely even noticed me. I could see the exit it was so close. just at the tip of my fingers. . .
