-Narrator's P.O.V-

The foes stared at each other, knowing that there was a character that will seemingly die.

Rin and Shin went for a coordinated attack which saw both go left and right in an attempt to scare or drop Kenzo's guard.

It wasn't as easy as they had thought but as for Kenzo, it was simply stopping their attacks from the left and right.

The brothers went in full force and speed so much so that time and time again they created after images of themselves due to how fast they were going.

Kenzo remained nonchalant, standing still while defending his skin from dangerous jagged blades.

"Look, Shin... He's trying to act all tough!" Rin tilted his blade which was now pointing towards the direction of Kenzo.

Without realizing it at all, Kenzo was stunned to see the sight of his left arm wounded, blood gushing out as if it was a waterfall.

"Seems like you landed a blow, but was it the best in your arsenal?" Kenzo confidently asked as he prepared to attack Rin.

"Wake up, Samurai!" Shin attacked Kenzo, sending him almost 5 kilometers east from their initial point.

At this very moment he was standing at the sandy beaches of Teitras.

"How hard did that idiot knock me?!" Kenzo yelled to himself at how unfocused he was.

"Don't worry, Samurai! I'll help you deal with your misery!" Rin came down as if gravity went through mitosis.

Kenzo was fully aware of Rin's incoming attacks but dodged nonetheless by simply moving his body to the opposite direction of Rin's uncoordinated attacks.

Rin took this as an immediate insult and decided to aim for Kenzo's neck, which he saw as an opening but little did he know.

Swoosh!

Kenzo stopped Rin's attack with his bare hand, which was now bleeding to some extent.

Rin's expression was that of a man who was staring fear as a figure which made him immediately regret his decision to even lay his hand on him.

"What?... I thought you were going to save me from my misery... Pity I don't have any fears!"

As soon as he heard the words from Kenzo's mouth, Rin's eyebrows lifted, his eyes widened as he saw the blade of Hashira cut him down while Kenzo smiled at him as if he was the happiest man alive.

"Twin brother!!" Shin yelled as hard as he can while racing towards Kenzo with the sole intention of skinning him alive.

Kenzo was prepared for this and aimed his blade at him, which at this very moment was engulfed with black flames that covered his right arm.

Cursed Form- Hagamoto Slash!

Shin was completely overwhelmed by the power that was behind this attack, which send him flying towards several buildings, creating absolute destruction.

Kenzo enfuriated when he saw Shin still standing and even more so when Rin finally got up from the sands that were now painted crimson.

"The Duo still prevail I see... Maybe killing two birds with one stone will be the perfect fit for the perfect couple!"

After uttering those words, Kenzo performed an action that would certainly ask the readers what his really up to?

He threw his sword upwards to altitudes of great heights that even fooled the twins into thinking that Kenzo has given up like the unhonorable samurai he is.

This provoked Rin and Shin into attacking Kenzo while he was weaponless.

Bite... Rinriyu!!
Grind... Shinzo!!

They were mere centimeters away from turning into mince meat, which made Kenzo give a smile that was that of a creepy monster.

Tachi... Kawa Slash!

Through gravity, the cursed sword of Hashira made its way down when all of a sudden...

Swing!

Rin and Shin's weapons were shattered into pieces while the color of their eyes died out, that was simply because their bodies were now burning excessively.

Kenzo simply walked away from the crime scene while paying no attention to whatever took place behind his back.

A smile appeared on his face...

Maybe it was a sign of relief, one he probably felt after defeat and successfully kill to psychotic assassins.

The Sole Samurai made his way to city center, trying to look for Eiji Mikage. However he noticed the civilians gasping and gossiping about him, or rather his wounds.

Kenzo moved on until he noticed two troopers with some artillery moving towards him, engaged in meaningless chit-chat.

The now wounded man immediately sought out for shelter that was in the form of an alleyway in which he was not noticed at all.

"Can't believe the Union has people like us patrolling these streets..." The one trooper complained to the other.

"Quit your whining, you're the one who asked employment from the World Union, simply stick to your job or quit and be like these fools who run to us for protection." The other trooper replied wisely to same trooper's complaint.

That's when a mysterious figure emerged from the shadows that saw the one trooper smile while the other frowned.

"Anything suspicious of late?" Asked the man who wore a signature white cloak, blonde hair with an eccentric feel, light skin complexion that made it easier match him out.

"Hitoshi, apparently we heard that there's a swordsman that caused a ruckus in the city center, but we have no whereabouts about this said swordsman." Replied the very serious trooper.

"Very well, I shall deal with this facade myself!" Flames erupted as Hitoshi took to the sky with the flames forming the image of a Phenoix.

"There he goes, the hero of Teitras just simply doing his job!" Replied the overjoyed trooper and even managed to wave back.

"This means, he will be the one after me..." Kenzo told himself as if he was the only one who could hear his own thoughts.

"Am I interrupting?" Eiji asked giving Kenzo the fright of his life.

"When the hell did you get here?!" Kenzo madly asked as if he had every intention of killing him.

"Just got here" Eiji nonchalantly replied.

"Well, we need to get out of here as soon as possible..." Kenzo frightfully advised.
