"What's wrong Maddie?"  Maya questioned Maddie for several times but latter kept dogding it.

"Maya,I am okay" Maddie lied.

"Maddie you can't lie to me,tell me what's going on?" Maya tried to confront Maddie.

"It's work stress" Maddie replied.

"Take leave from work and rest" Maya advised.

"I am fine" Maddie answered knowing only work could distract her.

Maddie walked to café  where she worked. She wore her apron and cover head.

She operated the coffee machine and made fries in the fryer.

"Hey,I ordered white mocha but you gave me espresso " A customer came to the counter.

"I ordered fries but you gave me burger" Spoke out another angry customer.

"Maddie what are going!" Onwner of café scolded Maddie.

"I am sorry" Maddie mumbled and made the correct orders again.

At end of the day the owner confronted her,"Maddie, you jumbled so many orders and we suffered a lot of humiliation and loss. I don't need a careless worker like you, Maddie you're fired".

With teary eyes Maddie walked back towards her apartment. She remembered the clothes she left at Aiden's house.

She thought to take back all belongings she left at his house. Returning to his apartment made her uncomfortable, the once cosy place now felt so cold and ruthless.

The rang the doorbell no one replied. Maddie remembered she had a spare key ,she opened it up.

The place look littered with glass bottles lying on the floor, clothes spread over the sofa. Cigarette buds laid on the coffee table.  Pizza box and some waffers lying on the kitchen floor.  Used dishes in the sink.

"Aiden have made this house a mess just like our relationship" Maddie muttered.

She made her towards the bedroom she once shared with Aiden.

Her eyes became size of saucer.

"Aiden!" Maddie shouted closing her eyelids.

"Don't you have manners " A blonde spoke covering herself with a blanket.

"What are doing here!" Aiden groaned.

"How shameless! We broke up yesterday and you are fucking another woman " Maddie shrieked in rage.

"Maddie we have broken up ,just leave us alone " Aiden spoke out.

"I don't care who you fuck now, I am here to take my belongings " Maddie replied pulling her clothes out.

"You dated an Indian chick Addy " the blonde giggled.

"Yes,she was such a pain" Aiden joined the laughter.

"I was a pain but this man is an ulcer on the butt. Better leave him or else he will  throw you off like a condom" Maddie spoke out angrily.

"Fuck off" Aiden spoke out irritated.

"Yeah that's exactly what he did to me after 4 years of dating" Maddie replied with hurt in her eyes.

"Grace don't give a damn to her ,she was pressing me to marry her for day and night " Aiden spoke out to the blonde girl named Grace.

Grace looked at both of them confused.

"Don't listen to her !" Aiden groaned.

"He is an alligator who keeps changing colors" Maddie hissed from behind.

"Well a chameleon changes color and that's you and not me" Aiden shot back .

"I changed! Bloody you are fucking someone right after our breakup " Maddie grunted.

"It's just a hook up" Aiden spoke out defensively.

"What?" Grace spoke out in shock.

"Look he used you like he used me for years" Maddie spoke out making her big eyes even bigger.

"Maddie shut up" Aiden shouted.

"Aiden what is she saying ? " Grace spoke bitting her lip trying to control her tears.

"She is just blabbering"  Aiden spoke out softly.

"Don't be blind Grace ! Ask him for commitment" Maddie spoke out with a smirk.

"Yes I am ain't a random fling or girl ? Be my boyfriend" Grace spoke out sniffing.

"What the fuck No!" Aiden clutched his hair.

"Tell us !" Both women spoke in unison sternly.

"I am ain't going to date you Grace,I needed to take off my mind from Maddie " Aiden tried to explain.

"That means you are using Grace " Maddie added fuel to fire.

"Shut up Maddie " Aiden shouted.

"Aiden shut your mouth. You are such a jerk" Grace burst out into tears and then left crying without a second word or thought.

"Why are you doing this! Now we both need peace" Aiden groaned.

"I won't spare you that easily" Maddie spoke out scornfully.
