Ever since he came back from his late night stroll, Adam was no longer the same. He would lash out at his pack members if they got on his nerves, he went to war with nearby packs for no reason, he became the most feared wolf ever to be alive.

His beta sighed sadly witnessing this so he did what only a beta could do for his alpha, bring the alpha's mate back to him.

It took the beta 9 days to track down the alpha's mate. He had found the young lady in thr grocery store with.....her husband.

"You have to go back to Adam...he's losing his mind" he says. The young woman scoffs.

"I'm a married woman now, you can call me Queen Victoria of the Sirens" she says in pride.

"So....you're not coming back?"

"No...tell your alpha that I Victoria hereby reject him as my mate" she says without missing a beat and walks away. The beta clenched his fists tightly.

Days turned to weeks as Adam was still healing from his mate's rejection, he prayed to the goddess that the royal wolves should not feel any pain after being rejected and the goddess granted him that.

It took months for him to completely heal and when he did he had to do he always wanted...kill the man who took his mate.

""Sir, sirens are the most powerful supernaturals out there...if we go to war with them....our pack might be finished"

"I don't care, i want that man's head and I'll die trying"

Victoria and her husband were hosting a ball, the sirens had just signed a peace treaty with the mermaids and they were celebrating.

"Your highnesses we have a large pack of wolves coming towards the castle" the guard said. Victoria groaned.

"Must be him, why doesn't he just give up" she says in exasperation.

Her husband scoffs and walks away with the guard.

The pack of wolves stopped at the large gates of the siren kingdom, Adam paced back and forth waiting for any sign of Victoria to show up.

"You have some nerve coming here mutt" the siren king says at a distance, behind him was his own entourage of elite warriors.

"Where is my MATE!"

"your mate? She's mine and I suggest you get the hint before your precious pack is eradicated"

"If it's a war you want then you'll have it but know this, you will be dead by midnight"

"Bring it on flea bag"

His eyes glowed as his wolf took over

"ATTACK!"

Victoria paced in her room, the sounds of pain and anguish outside was enough to make her nervous. Her doors suddenly opened.

"Your highness, it's bad out there, we should leave"

"I am not leaving without my husband"

"He's the one who told us to take you away, he said he'll find you at the safe house"

She sighed and nodded, they secretly whisked her away using a secret door that led to the garage, they used the underground road to escape.

While they were on their journey, Victoria was hit with an immense pain on her chest, she screamed loudly making the car windows to shatter....she's heard of the pain before but she never knew she'd experience it herself.

"He's.....d-dead" she whispers. The people in the car gasped in terror, if the king was dead that meant the wolves had won.

A lonely tear escaped the corner of her eye and she quickly wiped it off, she doesn't want to sit and cry for her mate so she vowed.....revenge.

"WHERE IS SHE!?" he roared, the siren castle was up in flames, men, women and children laid on the ground dead.

"Maybe she escaped during the war"

"I'll still find her, wherever she is"

After months of unsuccessful attempts to track Victoria down, Adam finally gave up. The pack was pleased with his decision so they held a party for him to celebrate.

She entered the dark bar and sat down at a nearby table, the man across her had a scar from the left eye to the right cheek, it was truly horrific.

"You said you know where a pack of werewolves live?" He asks, she smirks and nods.

"You can do whatever you want with them"

He chugged his beer and nods.

"And what do you want in return?"

"Bring me the alpha's body if he died in his wolf form, winter is coming and i need a new fur coat"

The man laughs at her joke.

"it's a deal"

The party was in full blast, the pack of wolves dancing and drinking happily, Adam however still was down, after everything that happened, he feels like a terrible alpha by using the pack for his own benefits.

"SIR HUNTERS ARE APPROACHING!" A guard said through the pack link. Everyone gasped in fear and started to panic.

"Sir, what do we do?"

"Women and children will be in the panic rooms, men will fight, lets go!"

"Yes alpha"

Victoria watched at a distance, she smirked seeing the wolves being shot down one by one. Her eyes roamed around looking for Adam but she couldn't see him, she huffed and walked away.

"Sir you have to leave, it's over for this pack"

"I can't just leave you here, what about the children and women"

"They'll be safe aslong as no one goes towards the rooms, listen just go"

"But-"

He was interrupted by the beta's lips crashing onto his.

"You..."

"I've liked you since i became your beta...just for once do something for yourself and run, I'll hold them back"

He nods softly and ran, to where? He didn't know.

He arrived at the place he didn't want to end up at, the wolf council. He figured that maybe this was his destiny, to be the most powerful wolf and yet be denied having a mate to have his whole pack destroyed by hunters.

"My name is Adam and I seek refuge from hunters because of my wolf, they claim that I could bring the end of the world so they attacked my pack today...i fled to find a place to hide after my pack was destroyed"

He lied, he knew that if he was to tell the elders the truth, he'd be sent back and he doesn't want that.

Years later.....

"My spy tells me that Adam is staying at the wolf council.....he also found his second chance mate"

Anger radiated from her body, the fact that Adam even got a second chance mate made her more angry. To her it seemed like the goddess was only favouring the wolves and she doesn't like that.

"Call that hunter, give him the wolf council address and let him kill them all"

A/N- at this point you should've read the prologue of Black moon pack to see Adam's fate, so I'll end his backstory here.....hope it wasn't too confusing.
