It's now evening and Taylor has yet to move from the floor. On the other room, Victoria was planning her first phase, she was going to poison the pack during dinner.

When the time hit eight PM, Taylor opened his eye and stood up.

"Go tell Max to stay outside the pack borders, he'll know why soon" he says. Rita nods and walks out of the room.

Taylor made his way to the kitchen to make dinner for Victoria when he saw that The triplets beat him to it.

"Is it time?" He asks, they smile and nod.

"Yes...great acting by the way"

"I tried"

He walked out using the kitchen door. He took in a deep breath.

"Is this why fire barriers are made?" He asks his wolf.

"Pretty much, i didn't know why i was doing them so i guess they're important now huh"

"I can't believe I forgot about these"

"What's burning" Jacque asked. Benjamin gasped seeing a wave of blue flames surround the pack.

He watched the fire barriers reach towards the sky and he stood back up. He turned to face the pack house and growled.

"VICTORIA!"

For the first time in her life, Victoria flinched and that scared her. She looked at the triplets to see them looking at her in shock.

She looked outside the window and saw blue flame walls around the pack house, she took a step back..

"How is it possible"

"We don't know either, maybe he was never hypnotized" the triplets said trying to look innocent.

She goes outside to see Taylor waiting for her, eyes glowing blue and everything.

"Why do you want to kill me Taylor I've done nothing to you" she says making him scoff in disbelief.

"Oh really? Let's talk about the bomb then"

"Oh that, that was just a message"

"Nonsense"

She calmly walked down the front stairs.

"Taylor, you have to think about this...if you kill me, what will the pack think of you?"

"They'll respect my decision"

"Oh really? Do you think you can just control them just because you have the alpha title? Remember when you were not an alpha? You were just like them, ordinary, weak, useless"

His hands clenched into tight fists making her smirk.

"And that ring, do you think people will respect you when you no longer have it?"

"Shut up, I am not a power hungry crook like you"

"Oh really? Then why is there a fire wall around the pack house, why is your hand sparking right now hmm?"

"Stop stalling and fight!"

The goddess's jewel emerged with a sizzle, he aims it at her but she ducks every attack.

"Typical prime wolves, they think they're special now that they received the goddess's jewels"

Lightning crackled in the sky.

"I am not like them"

"How so?"

"I will kill you"

With a lash to the ground, the earth cracked making it hard for the siren to escape.

"What was that?" Jacque asked feeling the ground shake. Max was up on the tree looking at the pack house.

"Taylor is swinging that whip like a madman"

Benjamin shivers remembering the numbing pain he experienced.

"Victoria is down, oh no she's up again...it looks like she's singing"

That caught Jacque's attention.

"We have to stop her, she's a siren remember".

Max jumped from the tree to the ground, he shifted to his wolf form and ran into the fire.

"Why did he leave us here"

His ears started to ring loudly as Victoria started to sing, he staggered backwards and bumped on the walls.Victoria kept singing making Taylor's nose bleed.

A vicious growl made her stop, she turned around to see Max behind her.

"You're a royal wolf?"

Smack.

She landed with a thud on the ground after a punch to the face. Max turned to Taylor.

"Are you okay?"

Taylor nods and stands up. Max gasps.

"Taylor...your weapon"

They looked at it, it laid there like an ordinary whip, Taylor had lost his energy.

"She's getting away!" The triplets said in panic.

They looked around to see the walls were out, Taylor cursed to himself. Max ran after her.

Taylor joined Jacque and Benjamin. He turns to Jacque.

"Bite me"

"Huh?"

"Why?"

"Dammit Jacque bite me!"

His eyes glow purple and sank his teeth on his neck and drank his blood. Taylor whimpered after Jacque pulled away.

A few seconds passed and Taylor could feel himself getting his strength back.

"Let's go!"

She ran into the forest following the scent of ocean water. Max was right behind her trails, he could see that her gills were exposed meaning that the ocean was near.

"She's heading to the ocean, hurry up before she escapes" he said through the link.

Up ahead the sound of waves could be heard, Victoria smiled seeing that she was about to escape.

Splash.

She froze seeing that the water was now dangerous to go in as Taylor's whip was layin in there.

"How did you gain your energy so quick?" She asks in shock. Taylor smirks at her.

"I have a vampire mate"

Max caught up to the them, he could see smoke coming from the ocean water as if the water was boiling.

Victoria was surrounded, she did not see this coming.

"You managed to pull the vampire king to your side and you had him kill Max's parents...then after he did your work you made him kill himself"

She smirks.

"And i would do it again"

Jacque stepped foward.

"Why?"

"Why? Your father wanted to remarry me and who would marry a 3000 year old man, no thanks"

She received a kick from the back making her fall on the sand, Max pinned her down.

"Why my parents?"

"Because why not?"

His blood boiled hearing that. He raised his hand and it connected with her face 5 times before he stood up.

"Is....is she dead?" Taylor asked looking at her bleeding face.

"No just unconscious"

"Okay,let's take her back"

He wrapped her with the whip and they head back.
