The following day, Taylor was with Rita in the gym training, the two have been training since Taylor got crowned.

She wipes sweat off her neck and sits down.

"You rarely use your weapon nowadays, why?"

"I figured that if it happens that someone manages to snatch it i should be able to still defend myself"

"Good idea, have you heard from Nicki? How is the whole mate thing?"

"It's very weird, Nicki is like 9 now and she already found her mate...I'm wondering if she's also a royal wolf, her being is just unnatural"

"How so?"

"She told us she had visions when the wolf elders died because of Luke's crazy luna and she said she was an advisor yet her rank is alpha and now she has a mate"

"Sounds tough...how is she dealing with everything though?"

"My mom told me she doesn't sleep, only stares at the window during the night. ..I want to visit them, it's been awhile since i had a nice talk with them"

"Yeah...did Nate tell you the news?"

He immediately smiles hearing Nate's name.

"I heard, I'm going to be a grandpa, at my young self" he laughs. Rita shakes her head.

He made his way to the office, he finds Wynter already there.

"What happened?"

"It's the fairy queen, she's demanding that we give her the piece of land our father took from her back"

"What does she want with them? She won't build anything"

"Apparently she says she wants to expand her kingdom and that land is suitable to build her tree domes"

"Urgh...is it possible to give it to her?"

"We already used it to buid the castle for newly developed vamps"

"Shit...let me try to talk to her, maybe she'll give me the benefit of a doubt"

"Okay, goodluck"

Jacque sighs and dials the number to the fairy kingdom.

"Fairy queen speaking"

"This is Jacque, you wanted to talk?"

"Ah yes, it's been months since the vampire king passed so we figured we'd give you time to grieve and that time has expired so, we demand our land back"

"The land you're looking for is already in use"

"Vampire prince, do we need to go to war over such a trivial issue? I don't think so, just give us the land and we'll be at peace again, goodday"

He barely had enough time too respond when the call ended. He sighed and leaned back in his chair.

"Alpha, we have word of rogues heading this way" Benjamin says making him stop in his tracks.

"Rogues? To black moon?"

"Yes sir"

It was unbelievable, even after hearing that the most powerful pack was undefeated, rogues dared to attack his pack?

"Get me 10 warriors, let's stop them before they get any close"

"Yes sir"

Minutes later, Max and his warriors were at the pack gates waiting for the rogues, after he had been gifted the real royal wolf form, Max had been waiting to see how the wolf would perform during an actual battle and lucky for him, dumb rogues turned up on his doorstep.

The stench of rust and burnt wolf's fur filled up his nose making him growl.

The wolves of black moon shifted to their wolf forms and charged at the unexpecting rogues.

With one swipe of his paw at the rouge's head he watched as it flew across the forest landing with a thud against a tree, he growls lowering his head in a threatening manner making the rogues to whimper and retreat, he howled with fire emitting from his mouth signaling their victory.

Taylor made his way to the now Consultation hall, the ceremonial hall was turned into the prime wolf's sacred realm, he would spend the whole day in there listening to the supernatural world leaders and subordinates ask for help or praise him.

"Your grace" they bowed as soon as he entered the hall.

"You may rise, anything new today?"

"No sir, we will keep you updated"

He nods and sits on his chair on the large stage, he closed his eyes and sighs.

Three sets of heeks clicked and clanked against the tiled floor, he opens his eyes and there stood the triplets infront of him.

"What do you want?"

"We came to get you"

His growl echoed throughout the hall startling them. He stands up from his chair.

"You came to get me? Under whose orders?"

"Victoria's"

"I thought i scared the little witch away..." he says coming down the stairs, his left hand twisting the ring around his right index finger unconsciously, they take a step back.

"You think you can come into my pack and tell me you came to get me just like that?"

"We figured that since we helped you once you'll cooperate"

"Really? Let me show you how i cooperate then".

The goddess's jewel laid on the floor with a sizzle. They turned to run only to be pulled back inside by the whip, their bodies numb and burning in pain. He drops them to the ground.

"Go tell Victoria that while she's been hiding these past few months I've been training, tell her I'm ready, and when she has enough guts to face  me I'll be here waiting"

He waves his arm and lashes them on their backs making them scream. Max, Rita and Jacque enter the hall to see the scene infront of them, triplets on the floor while a blue whip kept lashing them.

"Oh no..."

"How did they even get in here?" He asks the patrol wolves. They all kept their heads down in shame.

After lashing the triplets mercilessly two hours ago, Taylor had demanded to see the patrol wolves personally.

"We apologize" the head guard says. Max steps forward.

"You need to be vigilant, if they came here to kidnap one of the wolves, we wouldn't know"

"I agree, you guys need help, I'll send some vampries to watch during the night while you guys watch during the day"

"Thank you"

"You may leave"

As soon as the guards left, Taylor makes his way up to his chair.

"Are you alright?" Max asks.

"I'm okay, luckily I was prepared for their unexpected visit"

"Yeah...this shouldn't happen again"

they all wince as they laid there on their beds, their skin still sizzling quietly.

"He's very powerful...i don't think we stand a chance"
